Ren slightly pulled out,stared into her eyes for a second,then went in for a deeper and better kiss. They kissed for a couple of minutes,none of them wanted to stop but time was against them.“you’ve gotta go Jenna” Ren said regrettably.

“Yeah sure,wish I could stay all night” she said sadly. “We shall hook up tomorrow ok?” Ren reassured. She nodded with a smile, Ren walked her home.

“Hey Jenna,about the kiss,are you sure you’re ok with it?” Ren asked.“Absolutely” she replied with a cute smile.

“Ok then,have a good night dear,see you tomorrow” Ren said with joy. “Night love” she replied then kissed his cheek and closed the door behind her.

For a moment Ren thought he was in a perfect world until the thought of his father in the dungeon dawned on him. He felt his happiness fading away,he was buried in his thoughts as he walked home when he felt a hard punch on his face.

He turned in pains and panic to see the attacker, “Sammy,what the heck is wrong with you?” Ren exclaimed.

“You little scum,when I’m done with you,no girl will fall for you” Sammy replied with rage as he threw hard punches at Ren until Ren bled non stop from the nose and mouth.

Ren tried to block a few punches but couldn’t defend himself for long. Ren tried to scream for help but was too weak already.

Sammy stopped the punches and looked around for a stick,“Hey Sammy,if this is about Jenna I’m so sorry,I thought you guys were over although I never asked Jenna” Ren said weakly.

“I don’t give a damn!!” Sammy snarled and used the stick in his hands on Ren until he rendered him unconscious.

It was 1:00 am yet no sign of Ren, Rachael and JB were disturbed. “I’m gonna go find him” JB said. “Be careful JB” Rachael replied,he kissed her cheek and left with a torch.

He searched the whole garden yet found no trace of JB. He decided to take a walk down the street while he called Ren’s name. Just when he was about to call out on Ren again he sighted a body in front of him. “Ren” he screamed, “Oh shit,who the hell did this”he sobbed and swiftly took Ren in his arms and ran home.

Rachael wept as she saw Ren laying unconscious in bed while receiving treatment. “I shall kill whoever did this to my brother” JB said with anger as tears rolled down his eyes.

He grabbed his sword and was about to exit the room when Rachael halted him. “JB,please don’t leave,I’ve lost your dad,Ren is laying here unconscious just in a couple of hours,I don’t want to lose you too” she sobbed.

Her words pierced his heart,he felt his rage growing more and more against King Ethan,prince Lucas and the dumb ass who hurt his brother.

He went back and sat by his mum, “it’s gonna be alright,you will not lose me nor Ren” he consoled.

When the morning broke, Jasper came around to visit as usual but was surprised to find Ren in a bad state. “ what the hell happened Ren?” Jasper asked with concern.

“Twas Sammy,but never mind,it was my fault” Ren replied.

Ren and Jasper managed to take their heartbroken brother home.

On reaching the village they saw the whole villagers outside awaiting their return,Jasper’s mum embraced him so tightly with joy,Rachael also did the same to her beloved sons.

“Where is dad?” Ren asked with concern.

Rachael was surprised,all along she thought lord Sebastian and his men were the reason her sons were back.“But dad just left with the other men in the village to go fetch you from the palace” Rachael replied in panic.

“Oh no,they must have been the intruders that set the whole city on chaos,I have to go back for dad,it’s all our fault” JB sobbed.

“No,you’re going no where,are you out of your mind?,Dad and his men just risked their lives leaving their families behind to save you boys and you wanna put their efforts to waste?” Rachael replied softly while rubbing the tears off his face.

She had hardly finished speaking when they sighted lord Sebastian’s men returning without him. “Where the hell did you leave my husband!!?” Rachael asked with a sob.

“ Sorry my lady, we failed,King Ethan and his insane heir have taken him prisoner” one of the men said regretfully.

Rachael dropped to her knees not knowing what to do. She wept bitterly because history was beginning to repeat itself,she feared a day like this would come,the truth about her identity was now threatened.

JB walked her to her chambers and consoled her in her misery. Ren couldn’t help seeing his mum in such state,so he moved to the garden, sat on a rock, buried his head between his laps and cried. He was lost in his misery when he felt a tap on his back.

“Who could this be at this time of the night?” Ren asked himself,then he slowly turned without minding the mess his face was in.

Staring back at him were those gorgeous blue eyes with a warm smile accompanying them,It was Jenna his forever crush.

“What are you doing here Jenna” Ren asked as he tried to wipe his tears. “Ain’t you happy to see me?” Jenna asked with a smile. “Of course I am, I’m just worried you’re outside at this time and you’re the last person I expected to see” Ren said while dodging her gazes.

“Look Ren, I know what you’re going through right now, and I am the reason behind all of them,I’m so sorry Ren,I wish I could turn things around, I should have just gone to prince Lucas when he sent for me” Jenna sobbed.

“Hey listen to me,none of these is you fault ok?. It was good you refused that maniac, and all we did that day at the club was our decision, so quit beating yourself up ok?”Ren consoled. Jenna just nodded in reply as Ren wiped her tears.

They were beginning to have a moment when Ren quickly ruined it by looking away, “Uhm, Jenna you should probably get going, it’s late” he said. “Don’t worry about me” she replied. They sat there for a couple of awkward seconds without saying a word to each other before Jenna decided to break the silence.

“Ren, last time at the school party did you mean all what you said?”. Ren stared at her and said in a low tune, “every bit of them”.

They sat mute for another couple of seconds then Jenna spoke up, “I’m sorry I walked up on you that day, that was rude yet you stood for me when prince Lucas came at me”.

“Hey don’t worry about that, I totally get it,you had no choice,Sammy was there,actually I’d do the same for the person I love” he said with a slight smile then looked away.

He was trying to suppress his feelings for Jenna even when he felt that burning desire to have her lips in his,he had chosen to let her be happy with Sammy.

Jenna moved closer took his hands in hers and stared at him,her soft skin on his forced him to stare back.

Things were beginning to get serious,he felt his heart racing,his pulse tapping really fast,he gently squeezed her fingers as he watched her eyes slowly shutting,he was totally lost in her beauty,he didn’t realize when his eyes closed,his heart throbbed when he finally had those soft lips he had long desired to kiss in his…Next Episode Loading……

Lord Sebastian’s men at last were persuaded to go in with lord Sebastian,they successfully passed some of the palace guards without being noticed,their plan was almost a success when unfortunately the prison guards caught sight of them and immediately raised alarm and at once the city bells began to ring causing all the Palace guards to charge towards them and in a couple of seconds the intruders were surrounded with shiny blades pointing at them.

Geoffrey quickly used this opportunity to go save the boys from Lucas.

Lucas was about to place the hot red metal on JB’s forehead when he was interrupted, “your highness we have to go now,the city is under siege!” Geoffrey exclaimed in order to make it seem serious.

Lucas panicked and quickly dropped the metal to save his life, “i shall see you after this stupid commotion is handled to continue from where I’ve stopped” Lucas said as he walked hastily with Geoffrey behind him.

Geoffrey commanded all the prison guards to come with him quickly to stop the intruders,he ordered the bell ringers to keep ringing the bells so that everyone in the city would remain indoors.

Geoffrey did all that to clear the way for the three boys to escape,he believed that JB being the elder would understand the message he was trying to pass.“We have to go now,this is our chance” JB said in a whisper, “oh yes big brother,we are just gonna say to the prison doors OPEN AND LET US PASS! and they would obey right?,what a big brain you’ve got”Jasper said sarcastically with a frown.

“I’ve got a plan,just listen and stop your sarcasm. I’m gonna pick this hot metal by the tail with my toes,fling it to you in the cell,then you shall use it to burn off these ropes that binds my hands to this chair”JB suggested with a grin. “Wow!,brilliant!!” Ren said with joy.

“You know when I said you had a big brain, I really meant it”Jasper said with a smile.King Ethan came out with his sword unsheathed when he heard the bells.

The intruders had been caught and forced to kneel with their hands tied behind their backs. “Unmask them” king Ethan commanded. It was a great shock for king Ethan to find out that they were all members of his council. “How dare you attack the palace lord Sebastian” king Ethan interrogated angrily.

“Your majesty,we did not come here for a fight that’s why none of the palace guards are dead,we are just here for our kids and that’s what any responsible father would do” Lord Sebastian defended. “Oh I see,those kids are prisoners to my son whom I obviously gave the permission to arrest,so defying him is defying me.

You knew the consequences of your actions yet you came?” king Ethan asked with a snarl. Just then Lucas showed up with burning fury, “they have escaped!!” Lucas exclaimed. Lord Sebastian suddenly got some relief.

“Don’t worry son, we’ve got a bigger fish,the boys would come back when they find out about our catch” king Ethan said. Lucas was about to refuse the offer when he sighted his mum from afar looking at him, he was happy because this was the time he was waiting for to show her how evil he had become.

“You’re right dad, I shall mark him with the slave tag. Bring me the hot metal!”Lucas commanded. The other elders begged for mercy to be granted unto Lord Sebastian but the king said,”you all knew the consequence of attacking the palace yet you made a move,you know how ruthless I can be when it comes to traitors.

You laid your beds and on them you shall lie” king Ethan replied.“I’ve served you faithfully for the past Forty years your majesty,I have made a mistake today and I really apologize,but I’d rather die than let that Lunatic that was born yesterday lay a finger on me!!.

Your majesty,you’ve never valued your friends, you consider everyone friends, you consider everyone an enemy,you are the worst king Xandor has ever had,and unfortunately the heir to the throne is no different from a beast, I pray the gods send a saviour to rescue us someday from this tyranny!!!” lord Sebastian roared with tears trickling down his beards.

“How dare you speak those words to me?!!,I am the king of Xandor!.

No more games Lucas,this man has to die,hand me my sword” King Ethan growled. “No dad,I shall be king someday, why don’t you let me choose the kind of death that suits him” Prince Lucas suggested.

The high priestess, the queen,the princesses and the king’s council members were watching but couldn’t say a word.“Father,I’ve never witnessed an execution where one was burned on stake, I would be honoured to put the fire myself.

I would also be glad if the other men are set free so that they can begin to write my history even before I rise to power” Lucas said with an evil smile and rage.

***Ren, JB and Jasper were still on their heels running back to the village when they sighted a torch in the darkness. They quickly hid themselves behind a big tree,the torch approached closer and closer and they could hear two people chattering. When the people came closer they got a clear view of their faces. The people stopped coincidentally close to the tree behind which the three boys were hiding and began to kiss passionately. The young man tried to strip the lady of her dress but she kept resisting and saying,“No no,not here,it’s not proper,ain’t you satisfied yet?,we are just from your home”.Jasper and Ren at once turned and looked at JB who was already in tears,his heart was pounding hard,he was beginning to lose balance ,yes he was heartbroken, It was Julian the love of his life with another guy. “What the hell is wrong with you Lucas,this is not a fair fight” Ren complained with a frown. “Fight!!” Lucas commanded, but Geoffrey did not want to attack first because JB was no match for him and he didn’t wanna hurt him so he said in a whisper while they were going round and round in a combat formation waiting for someone to strike first,“you’re no match for me and you know that,so surrender your weapon and no one will get hurt, I’m a friend to your mum and the last thing I wanna do is to hurt you and hurt her feelings but if you strike I would have no choice but to fight back or else I would lose my Job”.

“I remember you, you were the champion who came with us from the palace to see my mum” JB said in a whisper. “Good, so just surrender or Lucas would force me to strike first” Geoffrey replied. “what the hell is going on Geoffrey, you’ve been going round and round for like ten minutes now, what stupid combat formation is this, stop wasting my time and strike this numb skull!!” prince Lucas exclaimed. “you know what Lucas, you win,I’m not gonna fight your commander because I’m no match for him, so can you please leave our garden, as you can see we are busy” JB said.

“No,no,no!!,this was just getting interesting why did you ruin it JB!!?” prince Lucas exclaimed. “Very well, I shall leave your garden but you three are coming with me, and oh I forgot you asked me to help you dress your garden, it’s an honour to serve, hand me your sword Geoffrey” Lucas concluded with an annoying smile.

Geoffrey handed his sword over, and Lucas started destroying all the plants in the garden,this enraged JB so much that he was about to hit Lucas so hard with the stick in his hand when Ren swiftly grabbed him. “oh look there someone is mad, you look cuter when you’re mad JB” Lucas mocked.

“Enough of these games,we are done here, take these lowlifes,we are riding for the palace now” Lucas commanded as he mounted his horse.The guards at once bundled JB and his brothers, threw them in a prisoner-transport-cart and off they went.

After a couple of hours,Lord Sebastian and Rachael walked to the garden to check on the kids, “what the hell did these boys do to my garden?” lord Sebastian exclaimed with shock. “No honey, this can’t be the kids, something is wrong, my kids are gone we need to find them now” Rachael cried out in panic and confusion.

“Calm down honey, we shall find them” lord Sebastian reassured. “how can I calm down when my kids are gone,” Rachael said with a sob and teary eyes.

Lord Sebastian quickly alerted his council of elders and guards to go with him on a search for the teenagers.

The whole village was in chaos, lord Sebastian and his men went into the woods calling and searching for the teenagers, it was getting dark yet no sign of the boys.

They search continued until lord Sebastian and his men stumbled on a group of men lurking in the woods.“Stop right there or I’d shoot you!” lord Sebastian exclaimed and immediately the men stood still.

“What are you doing in the woods at this time?” lord Sebastian questioned. “please we mean no harm,we are just here to get some herbs” one of the men said. “Did you happen to see some teenagers,three in number around here” lord Sebastian inquired politely.

The men looked at themselves and then one of them said, “yes, they were taken by Prince Lucas and his men,they rode for the palace.“bloody hell,this is not good,we have to get those kids from that lunatic of a prince before harm befalls them” one of lord Sebastian’s men suggested. “we shall ride for the palace immediately” lord Sebastian said with a roar,”I need two men to head back to the village and let everyone know we have leads on the boys.

Lets move!!” lord Sebastian exclaimed and at once the riders whacked their horses and charged to the palace.

Prince Lucas ordered that the three boys be thrown in the dungeon while he prepared his torture materials.

He went to his chambers to change into his torture attire when he had a knock at his door.He opened up and to his surprise it was his mum’s maid whom he slept with. He was mad at her sight. “how dare you show yourself to me when you reported me to my mum about what I did to you, I see you have a death wish and I shall happily grant you what you desire” prince Lucas snarled. “your highness,why the rage?,I’m here on my own,you look stressed don’t you wanna have some fun?” she said while biting her lips and slowly unhooking the buttons on her gown..Tbc…

In the midst of this chaos King Ethan appeared, “whats going on here?” king Ethan asked. “why don’t you ask your son” queen Natasha replied, “alright then,Lucas whats the problem” King Ethan inquired.

“Why don’t you ask your wife”prince Lucas replied rudely and walked away.

Queen Natasha was so mad at the actions of prince Lucas. “My love,we have to do something about Lucas,he’s getting on my nerves” queen Natasha advised,“this is just a phase in a teenager’s life,he would get over it with time so don’t work yourself up” king Ethan argued. “why do you keep defending him and make me look like the bad one here,he’s also my son and I love him that’s why I wanna fix things before Lucas gets out of hands”queen Natasha insisted.

King Ethan just ignored her and walked his way to prince Lucas’ chambers. He knocked at Lucas’ door but got a snarl as a reply “I don’t wanna be disturbed,I wanna be alone right now” . “I’ve come to discuss the issue that happened to you this evening”king Ethan stated.

After a couple of seconds Lucas opened his door inviting his Dad in.

***It was a bright Saturday, Ren and JB were having fun in the garden while dressing it when Jasper showed up. “hey buddies!”he called out, this caught the attention of JB and Ren.

“Hey whats up player boy”Ren replied, “come grab a hoe player boy,you’ve come at the right time” JB teased

. “what the hell JB,is that how to treat a visitor?, I should have listened to my guts,I shouldn’t have come visit you punks?” Jasper said playfully and they all laughed. “so whats up with Jenna ladies boy” Jasper asked.

“Well she refused me,I can’t believe it happened but it really did” Ren lamented. “wow, what an irony ,ladies boy bounced by a lady” Jasper teased, and they all giggled.

“Forget her buddy, there are tons of better girls out there who would give up everything for you” Jasper added.

“well that’s the point buddy,I don’t just want any girl because she wants me too,I want a girl my heart desires” Ren argued.

“By the way JB,were you able to tell Julian how you feel about her?” Ren inquired with a smile. “Yes I did though it almost cost me my life, I was sweating profusely,until she noticed how nervous I had become so she helped me out by kissing me and said I should say no more, she already knows what I wanna say” JB said with a giggle.

“Bingo!” Jasper exclaimed with joy and gave JB a firm handshake. “so bro, how did your first kiss feel” Ren asked with mockery.

“It was so good,I felt as though I was in paradise,before that punk Lucas showed up and ruined my fun” JB said with a slight frown, they were about to laugh when they heard a voice from behind them saying “ and here I come once more to ruin your little fun”.

They all turned to see who was speaking and to their greatest surprise it was prince Lucas with five knights beside him on horses.“let me guess,you’re here to apologize and help us dress the garden” JB said with sarcasm.

Prince Lucas stared for a minute and smirked, then he dropped from his horse and walked towards JB, came very close to JB so that their noses brushed.

He stared right into JB’s eyes and JB without any spec of fear stared back without blinking. They stared into each other for a couple of minutes without talking then finally prince Lucas said, “I admire your bravery ,but actually I came to pull out your treacherous tongue” Lucas threatened. “then what are you waiting for, give it a try” JB said daringly.

“Oops, where’s the fun if I remove your tongue right now?,I have to give you pains beyond what your mother felt while giving birth to you” Lucas said in a whisper full of rage.

JB picked up a strong stick from the garden and said, “Lucas, get a sword from one of your knights and fight me, lets end this as men.”.

“Ouch! Poor boy,I am a prince I can’t fight lowlifes like you, I have people who do the dirty work for me. So you shall fight my commander Geoffrey instead, consider it an honour to fight a royal commander” prince Lucas said with mockery

“You shall all pay for your disrespect,tell me your names you bastards!” prince Lucas snarled with rage, “I’m REN”, “and I’m Jasper”, Ren and Jasper replied.

JB moved closer to prince Lucas and said,“First of all we ain’t bastards,secondly we don’t give a damn what the hell you plan on doing,finally I’m called JB,try not to forget my name” JB said.

Prince Lucas with fury dashed out of the hall with his men following,he rode for the palace with rage, “you scums should just wait for my return,you’re all gonna beg for your lives,you shall know the consequence of disrespecting a prince!!”prince Lucas exclaimed as he rode his horse.

Everyone in the school hall cheered to the bravery of the three brothers, “I owe you one Ren” Jenna said calmly to Ren.

Ren did not respond but just left the hall quietly leaving her with Sammy her date who was standing beside her and staring.

Ren’s heart was crushed because he failed to get Jenna,she didn’t even show any interest towards him he thought as he walked home slowly .

Just as he was about to enter,he was called by lord Sebastian who was by the flower bed waiting for their return. “Dad,what are you doing here?” Ren asked with surprise,“Where is your brother?” lord Sebastian asked. “Uhmm ,he’s….”, “I’m right here dad” JB cut in just in time before Ren spilled the beans.

“Good, so can anyone tell me why the hell you had to sneak out of the house?” Lord Sebastian asked,but they both stood mute staring at each other. “No answer?, okay here is the thing,you’re both grounded for a week,and fortunately tomorrow is a Saturday ,so you’re both gonna dress the gardens the whole day” lord Sebastian said as he made his way back to his chambers. “Dad!!” they both called out,but he ignored them and kept walking.

Rachael was by the window staring and smiling,she had the kind of family she had always wanted with lord Sebastian,she loved JB and Ren equally.

“Honey,a week is a bit long for the kids,lets make it three days at least”Rachael suggested with a smile as she ran her fingers through lord Sebastian’s hair.

“No way honey,they always get into trouble whenever they leave this house,that’s why I make them study instead of walking about but they still defied me and sneaked out of the house”lord Sebastian replied softly and then kissed her forehead and went in for a shower.

“Father!,father!!,father!!!” prince Lucas cried out as he barged into a meeting in the courtroom. “Whats the problem Lucas” king Ethan asked with concern.

“father some low life scums dared to insult me and the Royal family and I can’t wait to rip their heads off and have them spiked and placed in the town square!!”Lucas snarled with rage.

“This can wait Lucas,we shall talk about it but right now as you can see I’m in a meeting” king Ethan replied, “No dad I’m not leaving until I have their heads!!” Lucas snarled,“You shall have whatever you want Lucas but right now you have to let me finish up this meeting” King Ethan replied.

“Did you just say anything I want?” Lucas asked in order to make a point, “yes I did,and I mean it,so just let the guards escort you to your chambers” King Ethan reassured.

As prince Lucas walked back to his chambers he met his mum standing with rage,she stared at him and annoyingly he stared back.

“What did you do to my maid last night Lucas?” queen Natasha asked angrily,and immediately Lucas avoided making eye contacts and started fidgeting looking for words.

“I just had some little fun mum why does it upset you?” Lucas said in defense. “You call sleeping with my maid fun!!!” queen Natasha yelled,“Whats the big deal mum,after all she is just a maid” Lucas replied with a murmur.

Natasha was shocked and full of rage,she never thought Lucas would turn out to be such a kid,and in her fury she slapped him so hard.

Lucas rubbed his cheek,and looked at his mum with burning rage,“Mum,don’t ever in your life lay a finger on me or I will…” before he finished his Sentence Natasha slapped him harder again. “What will you do Lucas!!” Natasha snarled…..

JB and Ren succeeded ind sneaking from their home,went to Jasper’s home,lied to his mum about their Extra lessons with their history teacher and made their way to the party.

On arrival to the school hall,the number of students there especially girls was beyond what they had expected.

“I can’t see Jenna” Ren said with disappointment, “holy shit!,tonight’s gonna be a good night” Jasper said with a big grin.

“Jasper are you even listening tome” Ren asked, “Hey lover boy,with the number of ladies here I see no reason why you keep yapping about Jenna!,she ain’t here,so have fun bro, would you”Jasper replied and walked away leaving Ren standing alone.

“hey ladies” Jasper called at a group of ladies sitting around a table, “ hey handsome!” they replied,then he turned and winked at Ren who was standing with disappointment.

“let’s hit the dance floors hall we?” Jasper said with a seductive smile, “Of course” the ladies replied.“hey JB” a voice called out forcing JB to look back,it was Julian his crush,she was gorgeously dressed,JB was completely lost in her world.

JB has crushed on her for along time until she noticed,but had no balls to ask her out.

She drew closer to him and took his hand, “Can I have this dance?” she asked with a charming smile,“ With pleasure” he replied and took her to the dance floor.

The music was loud,slow and nice,people made merry except for Ren who was sitting disappointed in a corner.

Nothing was good about the party to him since Jenna was absent,ladies came around asking him for a dance but he showed no interest.

He dropped his goblet of wine on the table and bowed his head thinking of Jenna.

In the midst of his thoughts,a hand tapped his back,his heart skipped a beat,his blood raced,he felt a cold sensation down his spine, “Jenna” he said in his mind,then he looked back to see who tapped him.

To his greatest disappointment it was Jasper, “what the hell bro,go have fun and let me be!” Ren yelled. “First look at that corner dumb ass” Jasper replied.

Ren looked at the direction Jasper pointed and behold,there stood Jenna his crush. “Here is the thing,that’s just a nickname but am not a player,I just like hanging out with ladies and that’s it,but right now am not here to hangout,am here because I’ve got this strong crush on you and I can’t seem to shake it off,you may not like me now but I promise you shall in the shortest time possible if only you give me a chance,so I humbly request you give my proposal a little thought,I shall be very thankful if you become my girl” Ren said with sincerity,but Jenna pretended like she had nothing he had said,

Ren was so disappointed and embarrassed,this was the girl he had truly,crushed on,he felt like giving up already,he was about to leave the party when the hall door was opened,and there stood prince Lucas with his guards.

“Stop the damn music!!!” prince Lucas snarled,and immediately the music was stopped. “Wherever you are bitch step forward before I find you myself” prince Lucas exclaimed. Ren wondered who the hell this guy was to come in uninvited and ruin their fun,his rage was beginning to grow.

While he was still thinking,he sighted Jenna walking towards prince Lucas.

“what the hell is Jenna doing?” he asked himself. As soon as Jenna approached prince Lucas,he slapped her very hard, “you pathetic fool,I asked to see you two days ago and you refused to show up,you thought I wouldn’t find you huh!!?, I am the Prince of Xandor!!!”prince Lucas exclaimed, “And who gives a crap about that you insolent brat” Ren snarled back with rage and both his fists clenched as he walked towards prince Lucas but was stopped by the swords of the two guards standing by the prince,“how dare you disrespect me you little scum!!,you shall pay for this, beat this freak until he begs for his life” prince Lucas commanded, “that will never happen while I’m here little prince!”Jasper said with a frown as he walked and stood by Ren.

“move away little brothers”JB said as he marched towards the prince with his unsheathed sword, “Now listen very closely Lucas or whatever your name is,we respect the fact that you’re from the royal family,but you ain’t the king and you’re obviously not welcome here,now if you wanna lay a finger on my brothers or Jenna,you will have to go through me first,and a piece of advice Lucas,you or your guards are no match for me so kindly walk away or stop wasting our time and fight,as you can see we were still having fun before you interrupted” JB said boldly.

On reaching lord Sebastian’s home,Geoffrey narrated his story of his friendship with late Richard Wellington,and how he protected Rachael in the woods the night she was chased by the Knights.

Rachael was so glad to see Geoffrey again,she glad to see Geoffrey again,she thought he was killed by the knights.

Geoffrey promised to keep in touch with her even when he goes back to the city of Xandor to assume duty as the commander of the knights.

He slept over that night,and in the morning he said farewell to Rachael and left for the Palace.

***It was a bright Saturday morning,Lord Sebastian,Rachael and JB were on the table having breakfast and chit chatting while eating when Rachael suddenly screamed in pains with her hands holding her belly.

“Are you alright Rachael?” lord Sebastian asked in panic,“No call the mid wives I think I am going into labour” she cried out.

Rachael was quickly rushed into her chambers and laid in preparation to receive the baby. “Whats wrong with mum,she has been screaming” JB asked with concern.“mum is giving birth to your brother,just pray for her and she would be fine” lord Sebastian replied.

After a long time of waiting,Rachael finally delivered her lovely long awaited baby,she was so thrilled and tears would not stop trickling down her eyes. “let me hold him” she said, and the mid wives handed her the baby.

She stared into her baby’s eyes and said in a whisper so that no one could hear, “your birth is a blessing to me my dear son,you shall be called REN,you shall rule Xandor because I shall make you king!! by any means possible,and all those who stood against your father until his death shall pay with their dear lives,they shall burn in flames of your fury.

One step at a time my son until the world is under your feet.Prepare oh Xandor for your worst nightmare has drawn it’s first breath!!”she concluded with tears still trickling down.

lord Sebastian and JB rushed into Rachael’s chambers after the midwives had finished cleaning,lord Sebastian took the baby in his arms with joy. “Any name for him?” lord Sebastian inquired,“yes, Ren” she replied. “that’s a nice name.

Welcome little Ren,we are all happy to have finally seen you. JB say hello to your brother Ren” said lord Sebastian, “hello baby Ren,I am JB your brother,I’m happy to see you” JB said with a cute smile.

Rachael stared with joy,she always wanted a safe place for herself and her baby,and lord Sebastian was the perfect definition of Safe.

Lord Sebastian organized a small feast in his house and invited only his council of elders and a few trusted people to celebrate Ren.

Seasons came and left,years passed,things changed,Xandor was a completely different place,life was good,battles were fought and won,children were born,people died,Jefferson and Stephanie were happily married with a kid,Lord Sebastian and Rachael were officially man and wife,a new blank scroll of life had been opened,the game has just begun .

Ren was now 17,an intelligent young man,zero combat skills,brown eyes,well built body,handsome and hot and was loved by almost all ladies in school,he was known as ‘the ladies boy’.

JB on the other hand was the strong one,brave and handsome,the best swordsman among his peers and shy when it comes to ladies.

Of course JB was now 19.The last but not the least was Jasper,a good friend of Ren and JB,same age as Ren, handsome, funny, skillful in arts,not good with books,zero combat skills,a real player when it comes to ladies.

They made a perfect team and were always together as though they were from the same parents.

“Hey ladies boy,there’s gonna be a party tonight at the school hall,you don’t wanna miss it not especially when your crush Jenna would be present” Jasper said with a smirk,

“Shit buddy,this is good news,this is the best opportunity to tell her how I feel about her,but my dad is the problem,he is gonna ask JB and I to stay home and read once we get back” Ren said in a pissed manner.

“same here,my mum forces me to read these pile of stupid books,so I’ve got a plan,no going home today,we shall stay in school until the party ends” Jasper suggested.

“Not yet,here is the plan,I shall sneak Ren and myself out of the house tonight,then we shall come pick you from your home” JB said.“what will you tell my mum,because she’s not gonna believe any crap you say” Jasper exclaimed!.

“How about if we tell her we are having extra classes with our history teacher” Ren suggested with a smile.

“I guess that will work,lets stick to the plan,no mistakes,I hell can’t wait to meet those yummy ladies tonight” Jasper said with a smirk .

King Ethan together with queen Natasha went through the list of names while the music team played slow and cool melody.

JB was fast asleep curdled in lord Sebastian’s arms,he had managed to stay awake at the beginning of the banquet waiting for the time to offer gifts to the little prince because he had also brought his own gift to offer,unfortunately that time never came before he fell asleep.

“Well,well, the time we have been waiting for has come. I and my queen have chosen a name from the list of names suggested by our honoured Kings and their queens here.

I shall mention the name and the name of the king who suggested it. I king Ethan father of Xandor and defender of the realm standing here before gods,our antecedents and men hereby name my son the prince of Xandor LUCAS!

With appreciation to King SILAS and his royal family” King Ethan said with a roar,and immediately the drumming began,people cheered clapped and screamed with joy.

King Silas rose to his feet and danced to the music in a majestic way in accordance to the tradition,this made the crowd cheer louder and louder.

King Ethan and the other kings laughed so hard as King Silas danced his way to queen Natasha and took Prince Lucas from her arms.

The music and celebration did not stop until king Silas gave a signal.“Today has been a wonderful day for us all,it’s an honour to be a part of this gathering of great Kings,not forgetting our Chiefs,lords and the great people of Xandor.

Today’s weather is different,I’m sure we can all feel it,the sun is shining so bright,this is to tell us ladies and gentlemen that an angel has descended into the royal family of Xandor,he has come with peace and unity ,therefore I King Silas king of Sharzeem kingdom of great warlocks,together with all the great kings gracing this grand occasion welcome prince Lucas into Xandor and to the world at large!!!” king Silas concluded with a roar, and everyone cheered with joy.

“Lets all raise our wine goblets,I believe the birth of Prince Lucas has marked the beginning of a new friendship between our kingdoms.

A toast to the beginning of anew friendship!!” king Silas exclaimed,“TO THE BEGINNING OF A NEW FRIENDSHIP!!!” the crowd replied in unison,and everyone took a sip of their wines.

“Let the music begin” king Silas commanded and immediately there was singing dancing and celebration everywhere.

The celebration lasted fora couple of minutes before king Ethan stopped the celebration with a wave of the hand.“ladies and gentlemen,I believe we have had much fun and merriment,although we are gonna host our honoured guests here in Xandor we still have other visitors who would leave Xandor today to their various destinations,therefore the prince shall receive gifts now which would mark the last activity here” king Ethan said.

The music began again and the celebration continued,the kings and their respective families offered gifts to prince Lucas first before the chiefs and lords.

Lord Sebastian woke JB, “Hey JB,it’s time to offer your gift to little prince” lord Sebastian said with a smile.

JB was glad because this was the time he had long awaited,he took his gift and walked by his dad to offer to the prince. “Oh,lovely boy Prince Lucas is so happy to receive your gift.

Whats your name honey?” queen Natasha asked, “Job,but my dad calls me JB” JB replied with a cute smile.“how sweet,so can I call you JB too”queen Natasha asked, “yes ma’am,prince Lucas can also call me JB ”JB said, “I shall tell him” queen Natasha replied with a smile, “have a nice day JB” she added. “congratulations my queen,long live our prince” lord Sebastian said, “thank you lord Sebastian,you have a lovely and smart kid,I admire you” queen Natasha said.

Lord Sebastian and his men had set out to leave on their horses but were halted by the champion who won the match in the arena. “whats the matter,why are you standing in our way,I thought you told the king you were going home to bid your family farewell?” lord Sebastian interrogated.“I am in your way because I am coming with you” the champion said,

“What!,why should I let you come with us when I don’t even know you?” lord Sebastian asked. “I am Geoffery,and that’s all you should know for now,I shall answer all your questions when we get to your castle” the champion said.

All the council of elders gathered at lord Sebastian’s home in response to his summon,they all wondered why the urgent call,and why he just sat mute even when everyone was already present.

It was beginning to get awkward when one of the elders broke the silence,”Lord Sebastian,your silence has begun to bother us,may we know what the problem is that required such an urgent summon?” he concluded.“we’ve got a problem,not just any problem but a really big problem which if not handled properly will not only wipe us all out of existence but our entire generation and bloodline too”lord Sebastian said in a really worrying tone.

“Whoa,whoa!!,calm down lord Sebastian and go straight to the point because honestly you are beginning to freak us out,no actually you are freaking me out instead” one of the elders said in panic.

“Hey,lets not panic. Here is the thing, sure we all know about the missing Daughter of the moon,whom right now have a lot of bounty hunters searching for her for the 5000 pieces of gold promised by the king in exchange for her head,well guess what,she’s none other than the girl we rescued in the woods” Lord Sebastian concluded.

“What?!” all the elders exclaimed. “This is really a mess,we can’t let her stay any longer,the sooner she leaves the better for all of us” suggested one of the elders, “Actually,I think I have a better idea,lets send her head back to king Ethan,avoid trouble and get the gold,it’s called killing two birds with one stone”suggested another elder,this time the other elders agreed to the second suggestion except for lord Sebastian who still tried to convince the elders to keep Rachael,this stirred up a long and seemingly an unending argument.

In the midst of this argument a small voice cut-in which struck a sudden silence in the courtroom, it was Rachael,she was lurking behind the curtains listening to the whole conversation.

She moved closer to where the elders were seated,looked at each of their faces with teary eyes and said with a sob“thank you all for saving my life in the woods,at least because of you I have seen another day.

They say only cowards fear death,well that’s right,because I am totally scared,stupid and confused,I have no place or people to go to,hundreds of people are on their heels for my head.

Richard sacrificed himself to save me and our baby but here I am with people whom I thought were my saviours plotting on how to send my head back to Xandor for a reward of 5000 pieces of gold,where are those men who put dignity first before money?,where are those men who knew the value of life,not just any life,but of an innocent and unborn child?,where are those men who would rather have their heads on spikes than go back on their words?,

I guess those men do not exist anymore. Well truly I don’t wanna die for no other reason but my baby,but i think I am left with no choice now but to die,so I am all yours do what you see fit” Rachael concluded coldly,in a hopeless and disappointed manner,tears trickled down to her chin.

Her words pierced through the hearts of all the elders seated there,they were so ashamed of themselves for the evil they were plotting,everywhere was silent because no one had the guts to speak again after such a speech. Lord Sebastian finally broke the silence, “Comrades,I am proud and thankful to all of you for believing in me from the day I assumed this position to the day we saved Rachael from the woods.

We all have kids and we know the pains of just the thought of losing one,so please all I ask from you is to spare this unborn child’s life,lets raise him or her a sours,and prove to the world that we are men of honour” lord Sebastian concluded,in a manner which raised the morale of his comrades.

“how about what I have done for you my lord,I stood by you since we were still kids,I fought for you when you rose as king,I did all the dirty jobs for you,I slew anyone that dared defy the royal family as a whole,but because of how ungrateful and selfish you are, you forbade me from seeing the woman I love!!!

” Richard roared furiously at the king. “How dare you speak those words to the king?” some angry knight exclaimed as he pulled out his sword to slay Richard.

“Stop!” the king commanded,and the knight immediately ceased his attack.“Richard, of all the women in this kingdom Xandor,you saw no one to wife but the daughters of the moon?,

we both know from time immemorial the punishment given to whosoever sleeps with the Daughters of the moon!. those ladies are meant to serve in the temple for the rest of their lives doing the bidding of the gods.

A shameful death is the only punishment for anyone who defies this commandment.

Why have you put me in such a situation Richard!!?” the king roared furiously.Richard smirked,and gave a contemptuous gaze at the king,“shameful death you say?,how many times have you bent the rules and the so-called commandments you pretend to respect to your own favour.

Now spare me the lecture and do what you do best!” Richard exclaimed.

“Do not arouse my anger Richard!,I am trying to be as easy as possible but there you are spewing nonsense blended with arrogance to show off your pride and conceal your fear of death.

Drop the pride and beg for mercy old friend,and I will generously grant you a peaceful death and an honourable funeral,and I’d clear your name of treachery and protect the Image of your unborn child!” the king exclaimed.

“Ethan,you disgust me,you should have known the kind of soldier I am by now,I swore on the the grave of my ancestors to die a death of dignity,to die in battle,to wet my sword with blood before I drop to my knees. If you had ever in your life valued our friendship or had the slightest bit of love for me,then grant me this final wish. I challenge you to a duel,let me die by your sword rather than dying by the swords of the knights I trained!”

Richard concluded.“very well old friend,I accept your challenge. We shall fight at sunrise tomorrow, but Richard, you still have till midnight to change your mind and beg for mercy,I hope you understand the outcome of any decision you make today on your unborn child” the king concluded as he walked out of the court.

Richard was taken to the dungeon and locked up as he awaits his death. All that flooded his mind was Rachael,Is she ok?,was she able to escape?,is his baby safe?. all these thoughts ran through his mind forcing the ocean of tears he had struggled to hold back to overflow it’s banks.

.I believe Richard had told you about me. I am Geofferey, but you can call me Geo for short” Geo concluded with a warm smile. “Just tell me Richard is gonna be safe, I can’t bear loosing him” Rachael said with a sob. Geo took her hands in his,stared at her and said,”I have known and worked with Richard for quite some time now,and what I admire so much about him is his strong will and strength.

I believe he’s gonna make it,meanwhile lets get out of here before the knights find us”.“No need!,we’ve found you already” a knight exclaimed.

Geo and Rachael finally surrounded by knights on horses.“poor LovePeddler,you thought you could escape from us with that abomination you carry in your womb!!?” the knight exclaimed.

“ Do not call me a LovePeddler!, I am a Daughter of the Moon!!” Rachael snarled. “you ‘were’!, but not anymore,since you chose to disobey the gods!. Take her and kill the fool beside her!!” the Knight exclaimed.

Geo whispered to Rachael,”I‘m gonna buy you some time, Run as fast as you can when you get a chance,do you understand?”,Rachael nodded.

When the knights had come closer to take Rachael, Geo unsheathed his sword and slew two of the knights.

The angry knights charged with rage towards Geo and in no time a violent fight ensued.Rachael used this opportunity to flee,she ran as fast as she could,but not as fast as she wants to.

She was hungry,exhausted and gasping for air. It was beginning to get dark,yet no sign of Geo. She was so scared of the woods and the scary stories people tell about ghosts and hungry beasts which in a split of a second would render their prey lifeless.

In the midst of her thoughts she heard the sounds of horses and sighted the riders with torches approaching her. “ oh no, my baby they have found us again” Rachael whispered to herself with tears running down her cheeks.

With panic,she struggled to put up a few more steps even when she knew she couldn’t outrun the riders.

Finally, She was surrounded again.“woman,there is no escape for you and your cursed child!” a knight exclaimed.Rachael was hopeless and helpless now,she was weeping bitterly.

“I beg you in the name of the gods to spare my life and my baby,I’m just a woman who wants to be a mother,I know I’ve sinned but remember no one is a saint,please let me go and I swear I would never step a foot in Xandor again. While they were still laughing, “Arrgghh!!” one of the knight screamed and fell down dead from his horse,this put the other knights in panic. “hold your positions comrades,don’t panic!,” the leader of the knights exclaimed.“Arrgghh!!” another knight fell dead,and suddenly a rain of arrows from no where slew all the knights leaving alone Rachael who was standing in shock.

“It’s alright you’re safe now” a voice from behind her said. Behold,it was a group of hunters. “my name is Sebastian and I’m the leader of the hunters around here.

So whats your name and why were these men following you?” Sebastian asked.Rachael just stood mute and kept staring at him until suddenly she lost consciousness,Sebastian grabbed her quickly before she fell.

“lord Sebastian,we can’t take her with us,we don’t even know who she is?” one of the hunters complained,

“At least we have done something for her by saving her life from these men,she is on her own now” another hunter added. “yes I agree, moreover,these Riders we’ve killed are the king’s knights,which means this woman must have committed a serious crime,what do you think would happen to us,our village and families if king Ethan finds out we killed his knights and saved this woman.

Please reconsider,we all know how vicious and unmerciful king Ethan can be” another hunter added. “We all agree” the other hunters supported.

“I understand your fears comrades,but it’s too late to back down now. What have we then achieved by killing these riders and in the end leave this woman in the woods to be killed and eaten by beasts.

This is a helpless pregnant woman who needs our help,this could one day be our wives or daughters in such a situation.

Lets help this woman in good faith and find a way to bury these bodies and clear all tracks that may implicate us. Anyone here who still thinks we should leave this helpless woman here should put up his hand and I promise to do so” lord Sebastian concluded.

The hunters stood mute for sometime staring at each other. “we agree with you lord Sebastian,we shall go with her” the hunters responded.

Lord Sebastian with a smile embraced all his comrades whispering “Thank you!,Thank you!!”.The hunters cleared there tracks,buried the dead knights and headed back to their village with Rachael.

“how dare you teach me how to rule!!”the king snarled.

“your majesty,we apologize if we have offended you with our words and we are not here to teach you how to rule. We are here to ensure that the commandments set by our forefathers are respected and followed.

This is our humble request your majesty” one of the council members added.“Richard has been a great warrior and defender of Xandor,we all know and recognize that.

Yes,he has failed us all by defying the gods,but before we dwell on one mistake he has made lets revisit the thousands of goods he has done!!” the king exclaimed.“your majesty,we can never forget the numerous goods Richard has done for this kingdom.

We would have been on our knees pleading for his life if his offense was to man, but your majesty,his crimes are to the gods,and who are we to rewrite the commandments of the gods?”another council member added.

King Ethan was speechless,his heart ached so much to be the very man to end his friend’s life. “I’m the king of Xandor,I’m meant to keep my words.

What will the people say about me if I decide to cancel the duel I had accepted earlier?.

they would think of me as a weakling,a coward who cannot defeat a common traitor and worst of all,a liar who doesn’t keep to his words.I can’t bend so low all in the name of pleasing you and loose the loyalty of my people.

This conversation is over,I’ve made my decision!!” the king exclaimed as he made his way down his throne. He had hardly reached the exit when he was halted by the words of one of the council members, “your Majesty,this tradition has been followed for centuries even before we were all born,so I see no reason why in one night you would stand to defy it.

Your majesty,I’m sorry to say this,but we the council members of Xandor would not sit and do nothing when you plan on defying the gods!!”. With rage the king charged towards the bold council member,but that boldness melted to fear at the sight of the king’s unsheathed sword and the burning fury in his eyes.

The entire council members were blood curdled and immediately dropped to their knees to plead for mercy. “How dare you threaten me!?” king Ethan exclaimed as he swung his sword to behead the council member who threatened him,but suddenly stopped at the sound of the priestess’ voice,”Your Majesty!!”.

She had come at the right time to stop the slaughter. “What do you want priestess!?” King Ethan exclaimed. “your majesty,I wish to have a word with you meanwhile I beg you in the name of the gods to spare his life” the priestess begged.

King Ethan couldn’t refuse the request of the high priestess of Xandor,but he still wouldn’t let the council member go unpunished. “take this numb skull to the dungeon and lock him up!!’ king Ethan snarled and the guards at once took him away.

“What do you have to say priestess?” the king asked.“Your majesty,I kindly request to speak to you alone” the priestess replied with her head slightly bowed.

“Very well priestess. You’re free to go now” the king said to the council members who were still on their knees,and in a hurry they exited the palace.

“your majesty,I have served you for along time now and i know how much you respect your words and keep to them which makes you the kind of king Xandor cannot survive without.

I know how much pain you feel in your heart at the thought of putting an old and loyal friend to death,I feel as much pain as you do for loosing a disciple of mine,a dedicated daughter of the moon to the world of sin, but Your Majesty,we cannot defy the commandment of the gods just to save or grant our friends merciful deaths.

Your people would be proud of you if you uphold the commandments of the gods. We all love and respect Richard but it’s time we let him go and rest no matter how painful it may be.

Therefore I beseech you my lord to reconsider your decision and do the right thing.” the priestess concluded.

Tears trickled down the kings eyes as he heard the words of the priestess. He sighed and said with a heavy heart, “thanks a lot priestess for your wise words of advice,with a heavy heart I make this decree, let it be known to every soul in Xandor that the Traitor dies by fire at sunrise tomorrow and 5000 pieces of gold would be rewarded to whosoever brings me the head of the cursed Daughter of the moon who has fled the city” the king concluded with teary eyes,and quickly exited the palace. “consider it done your majesty” the priestess said in a whisper as she also made her exit.To Be Continued.

“I know how you feel honey,and I really respect your decision,but we have to consider the safety of our unborn kid also,you know how ruthless king Ethan can be especially when he feels betrayed. lets do something about this pregnancy as soon as possible before words get out”Rachael suggested regrettably,with tears rolling down her chubby cheeks.

Richard stepped closer and embraced her tightly and whispered gently,”we shall get through this I promise, I’ve got a plan,so just trust me on this one okay?” Richard reassured.

Richard had hardly finished speaking when he had the neighing of horses which seemed to be approaching his home. He quickly ran towards his window and slightly slid his curtain open to have a good view.“Bloody hell!!” Richard exclaimed, “whats the matter honey?” Rachael asked frightened. “No time to explain,just listen attentively and do exactly as I…” ,

”just tell me what the hell is happening?” Rachael cut in, “Just shut up and listen!!. there is an escape route I created which I’m sure no one knows about.

Get into the kitchen as soon as we finish this conversation,move the kitchen cabinet,you will see a portion of the wall painted in white,push as hard as possible and get out of here.

Run as fast as you can to the woods,there you shall find a friend whom would keep you safe until Iarrive,make sure you don’t come back for any reason whatsoever,do you Understand?”

Richard concluded, “yes honey,just promise to stay safe for me”Rachael said with a sob. Richard grabbed and kissed her, then replied “I promise.Now go! Go!!”.

Rachael ran as instructed.“Open up traitor!!!” a voice from outside exclaimed. “how dare you call me a traitor,I’m the king’s right hand man,I have fought beside him years before your mum thought of conceiving you,you son of a bitch!!” Richard replied angrily at the notorious knight in front of his door.

“watch your tongue old man,or I’d pull it out of your dumb skull!!, and yes you where the king’s right hand man and commander of the knights but not anymore you old fool,traitors like you should be beheaded and your head put on a spike and placed at the center of the city for the birds to feed on,to serve as an example to others” the notorious knight replied with his sword stretched towards Richard’s throat.

“Go ahead and do it you son of a bitch,I’d rather die than keep exchanging words with a numb skull like you” Richard roared, ”Ho ho,easy old man, I shall grant you your wish,but now isn’t the right time.

Meanwhile,lets talk about your LovePeddler,where is she!?”exclaimed the knight. “if you dare speak ill of my wife one more time,I’d make sure I break every single bone to the smallest of them and feed your body to the beasts in the woods!!”

Richard exclaimed furiously,this time his rage scared the knights that came for him.

Richard was not only a great commander,but a warrior and a survivor.He had fought many battles,won many tournaments and protected the royal family with his life.“seize him!!!” the notorious knight commanded, and immediately the other knights bounded Richard’s hands and put him in a carriage.

The notorious knight walked into Richard’s house in search of Rachael,fortunately she had been long gone. He walked into the kitchen and saw the escape route Rachael had used.“shit!!!” he exclaimed and walked out of the house furiously.………
