It is true that a prophet has no respect in his home town. If Jesus the son of God till date isn't regarded in His place of birth, how much more TBJ? He doesn't deliver in his own name but in the Name of Jesus Christ. Not to his own glory but to the Glory of God. Most of y'all criticizing him are bound in one curse, problem or the something else. You insult him and lay more curse on yourself. Most of y'all are actually steady customers of babalawos and alfas but always quick to insult the man of God. Why is he fake? Cos he can do what your 'original' pastor can't do? The name of Jesus is powerful and can heal, raise the dead, etc

NAZARETH, Israel — Evangelical Christians have flocked to Israel for a mass faith-healing by a celebrity Nigerian pastor outside Jesus's hometown of Nazareth. Some worshippers sang in various languages while others collapsed and even vomited during Sunday's event, presided over by T.B. Joshua, who has amassed millions of followers on social media from his base in the Nigerian city of Lagos. "Jesus's father, Joseph, and his mother, Mary, came from here. What a blessing. No other place would have been better for Jesus to come from. It was God's design," Joshua told the crowd gathered in a sun-baked stadium on Mount Precipice. When the self-described prophet descended from the stage to bless attendees, placing his hand on their heads, several declared themselves healed from sickness or infirmity. Attendants stood ready to catch those who fainted in excitement. Minerva Resendiz, from Mexico, said she had come to see Joshua as part of the two-day gathering "to ask for healing, for a breakthrough ... to resolve conflicts in the family". "I would like that (all people) could see a miracle through Jesus Christ," Resendiz, 40, said. Other pilgrims came from China, Russia and African and South American countries. Politics / Figures: Annual Salary Of World Leaders Vs Nigerian Politicians by mediahubng(m): 9:58am On Jun 12, 2018 |
Nigeria is a third world country (should be 4th or 5th if there's anything like that) how ever, an ordinary house of representative member earns more than a Chinese president. Not to talk of Senators, governors and the president. If you go through the Nigerian budget you will find out that 70% of the expenditures is simply salaries. Predominantly that of the top politicians and heads of parastatals. The ridiculous amount of money that this people are paid is the reason why we have electoral crisis, and so on in Nigeria. They will rather die or have anyone who stands on their way dead than accept defeat. Nigerian politics will be great if the politicians are paid equivalent to that of a university lecturer or public hospital doctors. That way, only those who truly want to serve will contest for election. See the annual salaries of World leaders below. Those Nigeria borrows from. Singapore PM: $1.6 million Australia PM: $402,000 US President: $400,000 Canada PM: $272,000 Germany Chancellor: $256,000 Japan PM: $202,000 Turkey President: $197,600 UK PM: $193,000 Russia President: $61,200 India PM: $31,200 China President: $22,000

Crime / Call For Same Sex Marriage Vote: Nigerians Vote NO To LGBTQ Nigeria Survey by mediahubng(m): 6:40pm On Jun 04, 2018 |
Nigerian Twitter users has voted no to a recent survey conducted on Twitter by LGBTQ Nigeria . LGBTQ Nigeria, a Civil right organization for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender people in Nigeria founded by David Eze over the years have been clamoring for the federal government to abolish the law against same sex marriage in Nigeria. With a population of over 200 million people, it is estimated that LGBTQ community in the country might as well be over 20 million. David Eze, the founder of the human right organization was reportedly arrested without charges in 2016 and remained in captivity for 3 months. The official website and old social media posts were taken down as at that time. Since his release, it seems he isn't ready to ditch his activism for gender Equality in Nigeria. See the poll stats below. https://twitter.com/LGBTQNG/status/1002558372498026497

Politics / Can You Make An Unqualified Man/woman Your Chief Pilot? by mediahubng(m): 10:28pm On May 18, 2018 |
I asked this question because I see many Nigerians defending the blunder made by the IG of Police. There are positions that shouldn't be given to anyone who isn't qualified for it. For instance, can Buhari make someone his chief pilot because he/she delivered votes for him knowing fully well that there're other people far more qualified? No. Or could the president have sent his son to a private hospital of his tribal man for surgery knowing fully well that there are far more qualified doctors? Why then did he appoint Idris whom clearly isn't qualified for the position? If IG Idris couldn't read what his press secretary wrote on the paper.... A press statement which should have been written in line with what he intended to say at the event, how then can we trust him to do more tasking Jobs and decisions for the nation? Instead of laughing about this, or defending him, it should serve as a wake up call for all of us. We deserve better. Way better. Go get your PVC I've got mine. Let's take a stand and change this things for better. The generation before us have failed. Would we fold our hands too? This piece can't change nothing but I pray it sparks the fire for Change. 2 Likes
