Chad is withdrawing it troops from neighbouring Niger, where they were helping local forces to fight Islamist militants, Boko Haram. humanitarian sources said.

The withdrawal over the past few days could weaken a region-wide struggle against the militants who have killed tens of thousands of people, forced many more to flee and triggered a humanitarian crisis.

There was no immediate explanation or comment from defense officials in Chad.

The move came after U.S. imposed a travel ban imposed on its nationals.

Mexican telenovela star, Eduardo Yanez on Tuesday slapped a Univision reporter, Paco Fuentez on the red carpet after been asked some personal questions about his son.

In the video which has been circulating online, Paco can be seen asking Eduardo a question about a GoFundMe page his son created to pay for a car he recently crashed.

The topic is understood to be a very sensitive one as Eduardo and his son has a strained relationship after his son accused him on Twitter of being a drug addict, racist and woman abuser.

The reporter asked Eduardo why his son couldn’t simply approach him for the money and the actor immediately warned the reporter to stop.

Responding in Spanish: “If you’re so worried about my son, you send him the money.”

The reporter responds that he’s only doing his job citing that the press is the link between celebrities and the ordinary people.

Eduardo then called Paco a “pure a**” adding: “You’re not the link between anything and stop disrespecting me.”

Paco again explained that he never disrespected him – at this point, Eduardo landed Paco a hot slap � �.

Eduardo who is said to have a history of acting violently towards reporters later apologised via a tweet saying:

“I want to ask a sincere apology to the public and the person affected by my action. It was not correct. My personal life is not for sale.”

Eduardo is now however under criminal investigation after the reporter filed a assault and battery charges against the actor.

American rapper, Eminem launched a rap attack on the president of the United States, Donald Trump.

In the rap video which is currently spreading on the internet like a wildfire, Eminem issued an ultimatum to his fans to support either him or Donald Trump.

The video was said to be filmed in a car park in Detroit titled The Storm.

Eminem called out the US president on issues ranging from his attitude towards North Korea, support towards white supremacists and his penchant for tweeting.

Eminem referred to Donald Trump as “a kamikaze that’ll probably cause a nuclear holocaust”.

He also added that:

“Racism’s the only thing he’s fantastic for/Cause that’s how he gets his fucking rocks off and he’s orange.”

Last week verge24.com reported of the rumours making the rounds on the internet suggesting that Spanish defender, Gerard Pique had split up with his wife, Shakira.

Well then, the Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has taken to his instagram page to debunk that by posting a video of him at Shakira’s recent rehearsal for her European tour.

Pique was suspended for Monday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying win over Israel and showed how he was spending his free time on the social media.

The 30-year-old former Manchester United player used his fingers in a shushing gesture while rehearsals were ongoing.

Verge24.com passed on a report from Spanish website Cotilleo on Friday citing that Pique and Shakira are no longer living together and that it was the latter who pushed for the separation.

Bayern Munich have confirmed the re-appointment of former head coach Jupp Heynckes until the end of the 2017/18 season.

Heynckes returns for a fourth spell in charge of the German club following the sack of Carlo Ancelotti last month.

Bayern announced the appointment of Heynckes, a three times Bundesliga and Champions League winner via their Twitter accounts.

“I would not have returned to any other club, but FC Bayern are a matter very close to my heart,” Heynckes told Bayern’s official website. “My staff and I will invest everything we have now so the team will be able to present successful football to our fans again soon. I am looking forward to this task.”

Facebook‘s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has revealed that he’ll be going on a 2-month paternity leave as soon as he welcomes his second daughter with wife Priscilla Chan.

Mark made this known in an Instagram and Facebook post on Friday.

“Our new daughter is coming soon so I’m planning to take two months of paternity leave. I’m looking forward to bonding with our new little one and taking Max on adventures. I’m pretty sure the office will still be standing when I get back,” he wrote on Instagram.

Sharing the same photo on Facebook, Zuckerberg revealed that Facebook offers “four months of maternity and paternity leave because studies show that when working parents take time to be with their newborns, it’s good for the entire family.”

A commercial sex worker or ashawo as they are commonly called has been arrested for stabbing her client, a married father of five, to death during an argument at a hotel in Asaba, Delta State.

The Spokesman of the Delta State Police Command in the state, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, on Friday said the incident happened at Destar Hotel on July 18.

“The suspect is currently in police custody. A day after the incident, the “C Division’’ in Asaba carried out preliminary investigation on the case and transferred it to Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID)” he said.

“As I speak to you, homicide detectives have commenced full investigation into the case with a view to unraveling what actually transpired between the suspect and the victim to establish culpability.”

The hotel is said to have been deserted. One of the few sex workers left, who spoke under anonymity described the incident as unfortunate as it has brought their business to a standstill.

“However, I will like to use this opportunity to advise our clients to always respect themselves when they come here. Many of the clients do invite trouble to themselves. I rest my case,” she said.

A Ugandan man has told a national Television station that he watched a woman drown and couldn’t save her because he had his phones in his pockets.

A Twitter user shared a photo of the man’s interview with the caption:

This man watched a woman drown. He said he could swim & thought of jumping into the water to save her. But he had his phones in his pockets.

The Twitter user explained that the woman who hawked handkerchiefs was being chased by the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) when she fell into the river.

The man was at the scene of the incident and was interviewed by a TV crew.

He told the press that he saw the woman drown, but had no one to give his phones to so that he could jump in to save her.
