hello Guys,

After regretting being awake to watch the totally boring ''supposed top of the table and league decider clash between Manure Utd and Boys scout club of London @ old toilet, it dawned on me that the entertaining and result-oriented footie display by Barcelona affords me the reason to justify the funds i spend maintaining my subscription and weekend spendings on the game of soccer.

Is there nuthing to talk about @ MOD Chelseabmw? we have the Catalan derby at Cornellà-El Prat coming up Saturday Night and it is rich with tradition and i bet the commentary should kick off in earnest. Kindly give us your usual tonic of analysis except if i am in the wrong thread.

We have series of Barca players that have links with our neighbours . Ivan de la Peña (our La Massia Product) a potential threat is out with his recurring perennial injury woes ( i surely would have loved to see him play against us, he single handedly thumped us 2 @ d Nou in 2009 even when they were last on the table log.

Iniesta has bought himself some favour in the hearts of Espanyol fans by dedicating his world cup winning goal to former Espanyol captain, the late Dani Jarque. I expect the other Barca players to get a cold reception. . .

Guys, I just found out that there's a Nigerian playing for Barca. His name is Elvis Onyema Ogude, 24. He is a winger. He was signed from Cueta during the 2009 summer transfer window. He scored 7 goals in 28 appearances for Barcelona B.
Currently, he's on loan at Recreativo Huelva in the Segunda division. His contract runs out in June 2011

So they are not there yet but if i want to choose then Villarreal should be the one to make spain proud and atletico if they can sail through.

Materrazi is the only exception. I think they had to choose between him and Zidane and Zidane had been a better player at that world cup
