election in the state, having polled 342,016 votes,
ahead of the All Progressives Congress candidate in
the state, Odey Ochicha, with votes totalling 53,983.
The Labour Party candidate, Fidelis Ugbo, garnered
36,918 votes.
State Collating Officer, Prof. Comfort Ekpo, declared
Ayade the winner in the early hours of Monday in
Calabar. www.punchng.com/news/pdps-ayade-wins-cross-river-gov-election/
hope the protest for cancellation of the result have started, already, because that's what happens when PDP wins a state.

I don't know if its now a crime for PDP to win an election in Nigeria, the prayer for a one party state won't work, because that's a recipe for bad governance.
Politics › Re: Who Owns Lagos? By Sam Omatseye by Medley(m): 7:42am On Apr 13, 2015
Lagos is a south-west state and that simply means it's the yorubas. Though we should stop describing non-indigines in the state as immigrants,it those not portray that there is freedom to live in any part of the country.

Its a good step in the right direction. Our lawmakers should also be pro-active, instead of being reactive to national issues.

The law was passed because of the incessant abuse of this minors, this law should have been even before now.
Politics › Re: Buhari, Let There Be Light – Power First by Medley(m): 7:23am On Apr 13, 2015
24hrs power is not done overnight,we are talking of nothing less than 70,000MW. If he can achieve 30,000mw in four years,he should be the best president Nigeria ever produced.
Politics › Re: Final Result Of Gubernatorial Election In Rivers State by Medley(m): 7:07am On Apr 13, 2015
In APCs mind INEC cancellation beckons. I know many will say the result look so fake & that it was rigged. Rigging can't be easily done in all polling unit and LGAs.

This result shows that Riverians hate amaechi(for not supporting Jonathan) and APC,amaechi should stop all this rallying for cancellation & concede defeat as others have been doing, atleast a job awaits him in Abuja.

I think if the election is held 10 times, the only improvement will be that PDP will win

INEC is very prepared to play their part in ensuring that PDP becomes a dead party.

Lagosians lets update various happenings in our polling units and wards.

there will be no permission for election malpractices and rigging if we share results and relay real time happenings.

Consequently, with the relayed result we will have an idea of what the final result will be.

Disclaimer: result posted here will need further corroboration from what INEC announces to be final.

The result sheets can also be uploaded to further give credence to the results disseminated.

Vote not fight, your life is your number one assets and not the money from politicians
Politics › Re: BBC: Nigeria's Top Five Governor Battles by Medley(m): 6:19am On Apr 11, 2015
they won't be surprises in this election. PDP has a master plan to win rivers, but Tinubu will rather sell lagos than see PDP take lagos. Lets just hope the rigging won't be too much.
Politics › Re: I’m Eager To See How Buhari Will End Corruption In Nigeria – Femi Aribisala by Medley(m): 6:10am On Apr 11, 2015
we all know that the anti-corruption campaign is the biggest scam on Nigerians, you can't fight corruption with corruption.

If assuming a party like CPC or KoWA won the election with the little resources used for campaigns then we can say they have no worries.

How will amaechi and Tinubu get refunds? Don't tell me that they will get contract for projects, because if we are to go by anti-corruption stand, there will be no secret in awarding contract and every Nigeria will be given the chance through competitive bidding.

So in other words Yoruba's won't bother to vote, since they don't like any of the candidates. Make this election just finish make Ooº°ÚÚ°ºoo see road jare.
akinwunmi and ambode have their own supporters in their majority that are yorubas and they is no clear winner. I did not say yoruba wont vote

are we expected to be celebrating this information, that a coach that once lifted the nations cup after a long year will be on his knees crying and begging for a Job?

What happens to looking for a replacement if he will be put to all this shame. In Nigeria its all about the money, what happens to resignin when the chips are down.
Politics › Re: APC Panics Over Agbaje’s Prospect –fani-kayode. by Medley(m): 5:26am On Apr 11, 2015
The lagos election will be decided by non-indigines because yorubas don't have a massive support for either of the candidate.

If agbaje wins the igbos(south-south also are called igbos by some) will be seen as the reason behind, but if ambode wins, the same people will shout aloud that they won even though the igbos voted for PDP,the igbos have a choice to make at hand.

Anywhich way the non-indigines are the decider.
Politics › Re: Disregard Apc’s False Alert’, PDP Urges Lagosians. by Medley(m): 5:23am On Apr 11, 2015
if agbaje wins APC will believe the igbos vote was the cause, but if ambode wins, the same people will shout aloud that they won even though the igbos voted for PDP massively, the igbos have to make up their mind on who to vote, because any how they got a blame coming.
Politics › Re: My Lagos Visit, Not To Rig For Agbaje – Jonathan by Medley(m): 10:31pm On Apr 10, 2015

Politics › Re: I Can't Change Nigeria Overnight – Buhari by Medley(m): 10:19pm On Apr 10, 2015
really? I don't know if integrity is interpreted differently in Nigeria. Sir,you made some promises during campaign, since you are a man of integrity we belive you won't say the impossible.

Just fulfil them & we will be okay. But with all this, you are already preparing your way for another four years, which is so possible because of the population of the north.

We just pray vote will count in 2019,JEGA is already going out, which may be replaced with another maurice iwu
Politics › Re: Critical Factors That is imperative for Jimi Agbaje's to win at the polls by Medley(op): 1:28pm On Apr 09, 2015
The APC still have a good chance 60% to win at the polls.considering that they are the ruling party.

but the story can change if what happened in the presidential is further helped by yorubas who all voted for Bhhari and not the party of the candidate.

Medley:
Lagos is an investment that must not be lost. Thats why tinubu&fashola will fight tooth and nail to keep it.

The only way APC will win this election will be if the interest of those that voted PDP in the presidential election is indifferent to who governs Lagos.

If the non-indigines come out en-masse to vote PDP,with the yorubas vote, the only way out for Ambo will be massive rigging. That's if the oba have not succeeded to push the non-indigines who are ready to prove a point against APC.

When i saw Jonathan in that debate,i knew that he has lost the election already.

I said on the post below that the election was an alliance forged by Tinubu,in view of the large population of the north and the south-west to change the GEJ govts. Thats all d change is all about.hope we will see the dividends.

www.nairaland.com/2218958/jonathan-win-saturdays-presidential-election#32033031

To those saying if the govt. Fails after four years, they will be voted out,you better do a master plan on how to start adopting children all-over the world, the north will always vote baba oyoyo.okay
Politics › Re: Danjuma: Ojukwu Should’ve Conceded To Save Lives by Medley(m): 11:13am On Apr 09, 2015
There is no need opening old wounds. If the Nigerian soldiers fought the war then using internationally accepted standards the children and women that was mostly hit would not have died in their millions.

The war will be fully over if an igbo man can be deemed fit to be president in Nigeria. Thats all.

I know some people will come boasting about how biafrans were decimated on this thread, but just know that you are supporting the wickedness applied on a conventional war, that made children die of hunger and the killing of women.

Most igbos are not actually interested in this election compared with GEJs bid.

If they were,i would just bid ambode goodbye, because most of their votes will go for agbaje, coupled with other non-indigines and yorubas.

But they shouldn't be pushed, and they try to prove a point.
Politics › Re: Patience Jonathan Surfaces In Okirika by Medley(m): 5:47pm On Apr 08, 2015
enough of all this mockery. Are we expecting her to relocate to somalia because her husband(GEJ) lost an election that he has gladly accepted.

No wonder people rather rig to remain in power, because being honourable is not appreciatedin Nigeria.
