sahara reporter is back. Atleast their propaganda has sealed a victory for APC in the presidential elections.

Are they trying to tell us that it is only PDP that rigs election? And lastly they should stop insulting our money, billion naira is no childs play.

Politics › Critical Factors That is imperative for Jimi Agbaje's to win at the polls by Medley(op):
The governorship election scheduled for april 11,this saturday stands to prove a point about; will the PDP ever be at the helm of affairs in lagos state.

With The tinubu political presence that have been successful in ensuring the PDP never have their way in lagos, still very much around; even the political might of former president olusegun obasanjo, could bot stand the bandwagon of the tinubu factor.

This is 2015 and lots have changed, here are the critical factors that will determine if agbaje wins.

1. The change mantra of APC
the word change in itself has a psychological effect on every Nigeria especially in places were a particular party have been in position as the ruling party for a long time. Lagosians are also demanding for change in government to see if there can be progress in areas where the previous government have not been efficient.

2. The Jimi agbaje persona
A lot has been said about the possibility of jimi's inexperience on the job,but some lagosians believe that they can trust him,due to his inherent qualities and the integrity they percieve he has, coupled with his gentle person.

3. The policies of the ruling party of the state

There is this believe that most policies of the Incumbent government are always directed to favour the elites(in lekki etc.) leaving out the poor. For example, some say the housing unit are always costly for the poor; some okada riders ban on some roads; house owners that their houses were demolished to rebuild the state feel aggrieved, though this were done to better the lifes of lagosians, but some aren't seeing it in that perspective and this people form the large part of the society.

4.The group of supporters of Jimi agbaje

many people forget that Jimi agbaje is a yoruba, and have yoruba supporters, and with the recent outburst of the infamous lagoon threat, many sympathy votes from both yorubas and non-indigenes may go the way of Jimi, because he seem to have a better relationship with non-indigines.

5. The electoral awareness of this era
gone are the days when lagosians feel votes don't count, and the scare of being rough handled by political thugs, the presidential election showed a low turn-out,but with the awareness of safety, lagos will record a lot of votes and this may even see the winner winning with wide margin. In all the major factor against Jimi is the alignment with the federal government and a lot must first be done for people to understand if it's important.

What other factor do you think will be a determinant to the april 11 election?

HIS DEATH WAS NOT JUST ORDINARY,THERE WAS A NEED FOR IT AND IT REMAINED SIGNIFICANT IN THE HISTORY OF MAN KIND.HE DIED FOR THE REMISSION OF OUR SINS AND FOR OUR SALVATION OF OUR SOUL.IT WAS AS A RESULT OF THIS GREAT EVENT THE HOLY COMMUNION WAS INSTITUTED AND HE DIRECTED THAT THE CELEBRATION OF THE COMMUNION BE CONTINUOUS IN REMEMBRANCE OF HIM.
That means easter is best celebrated by sober reflection,is it not suppose to be a time to rejoice for defeating sin

When Obj rigged the election, what happened.?

When is Buhari probing Tinubu and OBJ grin
I came to a conclusion, that the hate most people have for GEJ is beyond his governance and performance.

Most of them have been expecting him as an incumbent not to accept any result,so that they will see the world laugh at him(like gbagbo),but he ended being congratulated like a winner of a sort.

You people need to stop insulting our senses with this rubbish, the loser did himself a favor by surrendering because saw Gbabo in his staring at him. OBJ and World leaders warned him too. He was cornerd and had no choice but to surrender to the Nigerian electorates and their wishes.

Even his wife's case is still before the ICC. Btw, why should we praise him for doing what he was supposed to do?

Talk battered people with low self-esteem, insecurity and low expectations. .
thank you. I have read your venom. A man of high self-esteem, and high expectations. Little wonder why

Christianity Etc › Why Is There A Huge Diffence In The Manner Of Celebration Of christmas & easter? by Medley(op):
I think people are always celebrating christmas without actually knowing why they are celebrating.

Many are carried away with the huge celebrations and merry making, that they are enticed to join.

The main purpose of the birth was that christ will die and take away the sins of the world. This is the salvation, and without which is birth would have been of no importance.

Are we not to even celebrate the easter with more joy and hope.

Why then is the easter celebrated so solemnly, with few people that celebrated his birth partaking in it.

What then is the essence of celebrating Jesus birth,if we hardly celebrate easter?

Write from now till eternity about how Jonathan is the best thing since sliced bread, it won't stop him from facing the music when the time comes.
I have not written this to convince you that GEJ is our best president. I know i can't fathom the level of hate you have for him.

Have you managed a group of 20 people in a project/task before? Because some of you saying he failed 0/100,will be swallowed by just the daily task of running a govt.

He just put his life first and did what was in his best interest which was a good thing for him, so forget about all the image making threads for jonathan, no soap can wash him clean!
I know its very difficult to make Nigerians see the hard truth. Don't worry he will decide to handover power to the military by may 29,i am sure this is the kind of news that keeps you happy.

Time Frame for Conceding defeat

GEJ could have waited till 11:00pm or the next day or even until INEC issues the certificate of returen to GMB. He could have also waited for electoral tribunal and claim he was rigged-out(It's not oblivious that there are evidence of child voters, ballot snatching, card readers failures) is set-up,atleast to put up a show before he can be ousted out of office as an incumbent.

allay and douse tension of supporters

have you imagined what is silence might portend. His supporters, due to fear of what will become of them and their benefit from GEJs govt. would have been restless and this might cause uprisings.

The problem is that we quickly forgot what happened in 2011,or are we implying that people in the south-south have no emotional attachment to the election, that could make them perpetuate and wreck evil.

was GEJs concession,a decision of his?

Information from NTA news,in an interview with Abdusalam abubakar,he made it clear that when he called buhari, buhari told him that GEJ called him by 5:15pm to concede defeat. How do people think Peace keepers will not respect a sitting president and will persuade him to concede an election that the INEC have not declared the winner?

Is this Concession the first in Africa
some people have been praying,he rejects the result and wishing that riot springs up everywhere, but he disappointed their greatest desire.

Just be aware that any violence that springs up,during the elections or after the result have been announced that can't be traced to Jonathans statement or actions,he will not be held responsible, but he ensured that no life was lost due to the already heated result tension. This allayed fears and put it clear to anyone that intends to forment trouble that they are doing so not on his name or authority and they should accept the result.

He may not be the first as some of us want to suggest to belittle the action, but he still remain the first in our fledgling and nascent democracy. Its not too hard to congratulate him on this.

If GEJ had wanted to be in power for 8 years, have you ever asked yourself why he appointed Jega, was he mandated to? Even Jega recently declared that Jonathan has not ever told him to manipulate any result on his behalf. Though some will prefer to say he his clueless, this is not the case,he needn't change the hands of time,he want the voice of the people to be heard.

Cuz he conceded defeat that makes him the best....laiye, someone that knows the way out of boko haram but decided to wait until the last minute so he could use it to campaign, or someone who said he never heard about the #ekitigate saga see what he turned our military to, nothing but bunch of liars, he sent orubebe to scatter the whole election if not for God and the patience of Jega, Jonathan is never a saint and incase you dont know Abdulsalam actually told jona to make that call, jonathan that turned NTA to a station that couldnt say the truth which they know... Even when Obasanjo was seeking his third term agenda he wasn't as desperate as jonathan, nobody heard trash from the media nor nigerian army or some adverts mocking the death of Buhari's wife and daughter.. He accepted to call cuz he was so scared of being treated the same way gbagbo was treated and with the constant warning from USA, UK and other countries only a fool will disgrace himself publicly like orubebe again.

MODIFIED: this is to those calling their father's age mate fool on here without facts well Jonathan wasn't the first african leader to concede defeat so get your facts right before you start quoting me and spewing trash like an "hediot"

President Abdoulaye Wade in 2012 became the first West African leader in a while to concede defeat when he was thumped by former protege Macky Sall, enabling Sall to proclaim that "the big winner...is the Senegalese people".

Ex-Malawian president Bakili Muluzi, who observed Nigeria's elections for the Commonwealth, ran against dictator Hastings Banda in 1994 and succeeded in ending his 33-year-rule

Zambia's Rupiah Banda drew more than a few tears when, on losing his presidency to Michael Sata in 2011, he told the nation: "I have no ill feeling in my heart".

"I wish him well in his years as president," he continued. "Now is the time for a new leader. My time is done. It is time for me to say good bye.
I wanted to ignore your ignominy, but i don't want you to continue the path. GEJ could have waited till 11:00pm or the next day, until when the final winner is declared by INEC,but do you know what is supporters, due to fear of what will become of them, would have done.

For your info.(on NTA) Abdusalam abubakar said when he called buhari, buhari told him that GEJ called him to concede defeat.

You have been praying,he rejects the result and wishing that riot springs up everywhere, but he disappointed your greatest desire.

Just be aware that any violence that, springs up,during the elections or after the result have been announced that can't be traced to Jonathans statement or actions,he will not be held responsible, but he ensured that no life is lost due to the already heated tension.

Stop hating the man,it will do you no good.

In 2011, GEJ had huge votes in all geo-political regions in Nigeria. That's not the case here, they just have to accept the result, and care should be taken in the way the militants will be handled in this regime

The voting pattern may have not really expressed a wider acceptance of Buhari's candidacy, but let peace reign, and APC should make its party a party were all part of Nigeria will have a say in future elections.
