Politics › Who Deserves To Continue In This New Regime That Is Currently In Gejs Cabinets by Medley(op): 3:17pm On Apr 01, 2015
very soon, there will be lots of names that will be in the change team to put Nigeria in the course for Economic and social developmental growth.

Is there any Nigeria that you suggest to be in this very imprortant Nucleus of people, would you welcome anyone from GEJs cabinet?

I think Mr. Adeshina the agric minister, for his effective and developmental strides in agriculture should be giving yet another chance.

2. The power minister Prof. Nebo has also been instrumental in ensuring that our generation capacity increase to 5,500 mega watts and also,he is a true technocrat.

You got any suggestions or wish?

I think with the likes of Buhari and Obasanjo coming back to rule,he may have a chance
Politics › What will be the political career of GEJ if he contest for presidency in future? by Medley(op):
'My ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigeria'-GEJ 2015.

Doubters can now believe his words to be true & not meant to win sentimental votes,as they claim he did when he said he had no shoes in 2011,which was the true story of his life.

GEJ is a true gentleman and democrats, but some prefer to call him clueless,if it was before we would have swallowed cooked result, though some will prefer to praise JEGA more, but GEJ played a part.

Some will mock him that he lost as an incumbent and he failed as a president,No he didn't, he made sure Nigerians won.

PDP(his party) lost elections in his time when they contested in governorship elections in some states, and many more of this made Nigerians believed their votes count.

He could have been laurent gbagbo as predicted by some acclaimed statesman, but he was thinking differently,he wanted his supporters to be calm,by exchanging a congratulatory etiquette first before the final results would have been announced by INEC.

Inasmuch as Nigerians are quick to hate wrongdoings and talk more of it,i think we should do more when good deeds are wrought and shown and not call the victor coward or a failure by produce humiliating pictures and statement to describe great historical acts.

This is not the time to Insult and mock his ardent supporters, asserting that they took the wrong path of history, but the time to make them see reasons why Buhari has been chosen to Lead, their earlier reasons of not supporting Buhari may not be tribal or religious sentiments as you may think, but fear of the unknown(the unknown about Nigerias future).

I would say GEJ did not lose the election, but he is a victor alongside Buhari,Lets encourage rare gems and Good deeds.

Will you vote him in future having shown that he is a true democrats?

Djicemob:
An election of this nature cannot be subjected to trial and error, when people raised concerns about the card reader having noticed glitches, the opposition claimed the PDP want to rig,now what are we saying? We are back to where we started.
I am yet to fathom and understand what APCs motives are,and why they feel so confidents of winning the election.

Even though they get to power, most of their decisions will be made without a listening ear, because they always insist on only what they want.
Politics › Re: Consequence(s) Of INEC Resolve To Manually Accreditate Voters As Alternative by Medley(op): 4:04pm On Mar 28, 2015
Icon4s:
So you will be ok with the results if 70% of the electorates are disenfranchised?
what you just posit is that the card readers failures Nationwide would have disenfranchised 70% of the voters. Why then was it adopted as a means of accreditation amidst all worries.

Don't you think they would have been done manually from outset?
And that this may create room for election result rejection were people that voted without card readers accreditation may be suspect for fraud?
Politics › Consequence(s) Of INEC Resolve To Manually Accreditate Voters As Alternative by Medley(op):
I think this is an issue if the rule by inec is to go by. From the outset the INEC made it clear that voters are to be accredited with the use of card readers and had to stick to its decision amidst concerns.

INEC as resolved to use the same manual method it tried to avoid, saying it allows for malpractice and rigging.

I think this is unacceptable and INEC think elections are like taking students on excursion or writing secondary school test.

I think falling back to a percieved
electoral fraud scheme, shows they had no stand.

I think manual accreditation is a recipe for election results rejection.

Do you think they can be some consequences or rejection of the result in some Units, due to manual accreditation?

Even if gej brings the over 20000 people killed by boko haram back to life, he shall not win again by God's grace.
saying all this is not new,i have always said our elections are decided according to tribal and religion sentiments,it's not always about performance.

But atleast join our fellow Nigerians to be optimistic about the chibok girls rescue even before the election. That won't stop you from voting who you want.
Politics › Kidnapped Chibok Girls Rescue From Bokoharam Before The Election? by Medley(op): 11:21am On Mar 27, 2015
There have been a strong indication that the chibok girls might be held captive in gwoza, and it has been reported that the Nigeria security forces are already on their way to gwoza to seize the town.

If the operation is successful and the chibok girls are rescued(atleast let us be optimistic for once) will the success change the outcome of this election or will it further spoil the chances of the president to be re-elected,seeing that some of the girls may not be the same again and probably pregnant.

I think that even if they are rescued, the authorities should keep the girls safe and the news should be made after the elections.

What do you think about the chibok girls being rescued few today,if it were to be possible?

epic! Our election is still an election that further describes that Nigeria is divided along tribal and religion lines,no wonder majority of the south-west are standing for Buhari/Osinbajo and the north.

Having looked into the whole story of this years election,it is a coming together of the north east and north-west and the south-east together with the south-west to remove Jonathan(that is the full meaning of the change being preached)
Politics › Re: Jonathan Will Win Saturday’s Presidential Election With Big Margin- Nuhu Ribadu by Medley(m):
all this predictions are just psychological and mind playing tactics, many of which may not be the reality on ground.

All i know is that this election further confirms that Nigeria is divided along tribal and religion line,as it stands the south-west.

the North seem to have formed an alliance piloted by Tinubu to change the Govt. of GEJ(This is the true definition of what this change is all about)

while GEJ was tackling the bokoharam menace, The APC were planning a grand plan of how to win the election and hoping that the situation of the country remain unchanged, citeris paribus.

To those still behind GEJ I still wonder why the various attacks and propaganda never changed your mind, because the timings and projectrion were lethal, starting with sanusi's allegation of $20.

I give the people supporting GEJ thumb up,to have seen beyond every of the lies and propaganda.
Politics › Re: Pres. Jonathan and Buhari's last messages to Nigerians before the 2015 Elections by Medley(m): 3:50pm On Mar 26, 2015
Election in Nigeria is an expression of the true nature of our union, and this year wont be different, the south-west and the North against the south-south and south-west,there is no different.

To cap it all with the recent videos that have been played by APC channels making it clear that all south-west should vote out Goodluck, thats the meaning of the change slogan.

why now? This will be the question some detractors of the president will soon be asking on this thread. I don't know if they forgot that he's a sitting president and have some plans laid down for the year.

Criticism should be done with facts and not propaganda. There is little or no vote that can be won few days to election. Its a good idea to boost gas exports. Nice one,the fear now is that if Buhari wins the project may be suspended.

Must allocation always be the only way out for every Governor in Nigeria, what if the oil dries up today, does it mean Nigeria will be loaned out.

I am quite sure that they are many resources that are lying fallow that can generate far more revenue than the govt. Allocation but that will be negelected, due to lack of readiness to do challenging investment.

things like this can only be heard of in Nigeria, people come into govt. Without any kind of innovation in mind, and when the oil money comes in,it will be looted with no project in the state, and all the blame will go to the president.

Alarms everywhere, anyway you have nothing to fear,if buhari comes in as president, because i know the anti-corruption fight does not include you. But be mindful if Jonathan wins, the fight against corruption would be harder,Goodluck has learnt the hardway.

Idea that was built on lies, deceit and propaganda;sanusi came out to say $49, and then $20,Just to discredit the Govt.

I am still surprise that some people can still see a reason to support Goodluck, after the daily rains of propaganda.
Politics › Re: Ondo State Deputy Governor, Alh Alli Olanusi Defects: Joins The APC by Medley(m): 1:11pm On Mar 26, 2015
omaolowo:
Breaking News...

News item on Adaba Radio have it that the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Alli Olanusi has defected from their People's Democratic Party (PDP), and has joined the rival All Progressives Congress (APC)

He is said to have left Akure, the state capital on his way to Lagos - to formalise this latest development.

It will be recalled Alh Olanusi, 72, was the State Chairman of the PDP in 2003 when the then Commissioner of Health, Dr Segun Mimiko left the government of Chief Adefarati under the Alliance for Democracy (AD)

The PDP under late Dr Olusegun Agagu, defeated the AD. Dr Segun Mimiko was made the Secretary to the State Government (SSG). He later became a Minister in Chief Obasanjo's cabinet to fill in Ondo State's slot on the resignation on Chief Osomo.

When Dr Segun Mimiko parted ways with the PDP on his formation of Labour Party (LP) in December 2006, he picked Chief Alli Olanusi as his Deputy and running mate in the 2007 elections. Even though the INEC had declared Dr Olusegun Agagu as the winner, the Appeal Court overturned this decision and Dr Mimiko was sworn in February 2009.

Still under the LP, the pair of Dr Mimiko and Alh Olanusi ran together and were reelected in 2012 for the Second Term. This was the situation until October 2014 when Dr Mimiko abandoned the LP and joined the PDP.

It should be noted that Dr Mimiko's being in the LP did not prevent his close romance of the PDP.

another peace accord? The same buhari that threatened to back out of the peace accord when AIT was airing a documentary on him.

APC will only accepts the result of the election if they win,in the contrary they will trumpet massive rigging.

considering how they cried fowl when the court case on buhari disqualification was getting hot.

Forgetting that the same court has been favouring them earlier.

Similar to the Chibok girls abduction. A newspaper carried the news of the abducted Chibok girls and beside the story is Jonathan's campaign picture.

What an irony!
you are quick to believe every propaganda against your country, aimed at downplaying and belittling the progress of the sitting president.

The kidnapping that occured has not even been talked of by the governor of the state, and major Newspapers and TV channels have not reported the event, except the TV owned by tinubu, and you are raising such an alarm.

Maybe the military based in the North-east were sleeping when it happened. Hope I won't be insulted.

Politics › NTA Documentary On APC Vice-presidential Candidtate:the Unanswered Question by Medley(op): 11:29am On Mar 25, 2015
what is your say on the documentary aired on NTA on Osinbajo,do you think its will be a damaging move to his candidature, and also the lawyers in the house what does this portends for the NTA after there was a court judgements upholding any TV station from airing any documents on osinbajo.

Surprisingly,is this the method to be adopted in fighting crimes against humanity by airing them on TV screens instead of it taken to court.

If the allegations in the documentary has any iota of truth, then i know why osinbajo filed an injuction to stop it(the documentary) from being aired by AIT and NTA.

APC wanted the case taken to court in the first place, I still wonder why the party that stand on the pillar of integrity refused to comply to clearly stated instruction of affixing certifictate,if not perjury will not have come in.

Though i will want the law to be upheld, but care should be taken on disqualifying Buhari, I dont know how that happens, and if it happens APC should not be overjoyed about it and use it as a victory chant for campaign,it was just to avoid chaos, because they are at fault in this case.
