Good thread @ Medley

I'm pro-GMB and I'll try to be objective

1. Use of language & rhetorics
Based on their pre-written speeches, I'll give this to GMB by far! Did you read/listen to the Chatham house speech? Wow! But of course it's hard to give either of them credit for pre-written speeches because you don't know who wrote them (likely professional speech writers).
In terms of unrehearsed speeches, I'll say a draw. Either of them are not fantastic.

2. Ability to transmit information
Roughly same as 1.

3. Effectual message communication.
I'll give this to GMB. GEJ tends to RAMBLE a lot goodness! That's why if you follow their campaign rallies, GEJ keeps talking about Buhari, goat and yams, stealing/corruption etc. Not EFFECTIVE. Buhari tends to go straight to the point with short answers (which sometimes leave you wanting more though)

4. Motivate audience
This should probably to GEJ because he is more engaging and if the QUALITY of their messages were equal, then he would be better at motivating an audience.

5. Ability to keep audience interested.
I'll give this to GEJ in terms of the fact that he uses analogies (goat and yam) and pronunciations (nyung) etc that will make you laugh. But he is generally more engaging. GMB can be very stiff and it's thus easy to lose interest.

6. Ability to change the emotion of their listeners
Same as 4 roughly

9. Body language
Here it's a tie. GEJ can look quite CLUELESS trust me. When he talks sometimes, it's like he is been forced or he is afraid of something or needs to pee. He has improved over the years though. GMB's body language is not fantastic most times. Sometimes he seems angry, almost condescending lol.

Overall, they are both horrible public speakers.

GMB: 46%
GEJ: 45%

Obama: 200% grin
very interesting and elaborate analysis.

Politics › Re: I Willl Restore Nigeria’s Fading Glory –buhari by Medley(m): 6:25am On Mar 20, 2015
PassingShot:
Listen mister, Tinubu has a right to benefit in GMB's presidency without stealing or looting our treasury. He can do legitimate business wiith the FG and make cool profits as a reward for his efforts. There are many government's legitimate contracts that are better in the hands of Tinubus than the militants.

To rescue Nigeria from PDP backwarf leadership, a Tinubu is needed. If no Tinubu, we cannot have the hope of a change in government that we now have.

Besides, when GMB didn't seek the support of the people you now condemn in his previous attempts, did he win? Did the South vote for him? Hypocrites!

GMB is the change we need.
you've made your point, why must hypocrite come in,must you always insult people on a faceless thread?

And hope the contracts you are talking about is not over-priced to fast-track is returns on investments on the election & that there is room for competitive bidding from others that may do the projects at a minimum reasonable amounts?,since we are ready to stop corruption,Nigeria is not lagos.

Politics › Re: I Willl Restore Nigeria’s Fading Glory –buhari by Medley(m): 1:49am On Mar 20, 2015
But how do you intend to restore it?

Anyone can talk about the problems like APC have been doing, but only a few can know and provide the solutions.

I will be astonished if Tinubu and amaechi are sponsoring the party just for the growth of Nigeria, without expecting a pay back. If they will be a pay back, how do you intend to pay themhuh

I am sure The donations of supporters can't do all you have been doing since campaign began.
Politics › Re: Jonathan’s Ploy To Divide APC Won’t Work –fayemi by Medley(m): 1:37am On Mar 20, 2015
Atiku in APC is just like a person who came into a new city and the only place and people he had to stay with, when he had no place to go, late in the night is very uncomfortable with some having beds to sleep, while he had to use a bench. He will only wait till the day break(after election)
Politics › Re: Opposition Party DPP Appoints Buhari As Its Presidential Candidate by Medley(m): 1:26am On Mar 20, 2015
DPP is a party that loves Nigeria and want it to change.

Still on the matter,if it were to be PDP that DPP endorsed, they collected bribes in dollars($100 mint notes) and the party is just 130 members. PDP has a lot to learn from APC when it comes to the use of the media.

Is this all you were able to decipher from the thread. Don't make people think you are programmed with only two words to say at all times, try to contribute reasonably. Atleast a reason why you are saying sai buhari as it relate to the thread will do
Politics › Re: Jonathan Campaign Coordinator Joins Buhari by Medley(m): 1:04am On Mar 20, 2015
The only thing we demand from this politicians is sincerity. Instead of saying you left for a party where your interest(s) is/are assured.

PDP is a party that is the largest and a very large membership, I want to see how APC and all this defections reflects in the election result, because it's clear they've been preparing for this election since 2013(all over the media),while PDP started late NOV 2014,before seeing the reality of a strong opposition.
