Had a Uk visiting visa rejection last December with my wife . Although, we were planning the Mexico route then for her to give birth. Luckily for us ,Our visa was rejected with a balance of 18m on my account Nah that time I knew this uk people are something else.

Fast forward to January, My wife gave birth. And I kick start these care work package .

Did our biometrics lastweek Wednesday at Ikeja. Got the letter today and courier called to also bring our passport today aswell. Just 8 days. Remaining my baby's visa . It can only be God.

For non care workers skilled worker visa,

1. Did you submit a police report? For yourself and your dependants?

I came across the attached information and I just wanted to be sure I get it right
Kindly note that my job code is not listed as being subject to the requirements.

Anyone with experience in applying for non care job skilled worker visa should please shed more light.

You need a police character in your application once you're above 18yo

Dependants visa now takes up to 3 weeks -12 weeks. Some of here applied since January and have not gotten reply from them mine and my dependants was early Feb they are yet to reply. Yours is still fresh and better because you have not received any NSF mail so be patient within 3 weeks and see if you will get a reply

You can both do an authentic "visa on arrival" to Nigeria for her; but you MUST visit a Nigerian Immigration Service Command HQ in any state you are in Nigeria! They'll tell you what to do! Good luck!

I will not advise going to mexico for greener pasture. Most people (Nigerians, Russians etc) heading that way are there for their passport because of its strength. Infact as soon as they get the passport they head to Canada or apply for USA visa which they get 10 years or move to Europe etc. There is nothing much in the country other than how strong their passport is. Plus it’s now considered a retirement home for most olderAmericans and Canadians due to low taxes.
