I wouldn't say bet or don't bet, it's a psychological thing. Something of value left because of ABC, the mind wants to survive that ABC maybe by fighting (chasing loss). Regardless of winning size, just seeing winning coupon gives a good feeling.

If you want to stay away, freeze your betting apps for the time being.
If you want to play, stake low on something for the win e.g. 12 fouls (any team to win foul). Not a perfect option but, still very winnable.
