nedekid: Dont be silly, in Lagos which "Yoruba" property was attacked as against igbo businesses? What was attacked were government assets or businesses deamed to be linked to tinubu ( cos they felt he knew about the lekki toll attack). All other attack by urchins were random and directed at random businesses through looting. The obas palace, well ask his subjects at isale Eko. Same alaye boys tried it with oba of apapa and his subjects resisted. In my area, alaye boys tried to destroy the newly built Firs building at Akowonjo roundabout. Our estate youths resisted and caution them. Not 1 bank, business, government structure, police station was touched because everyone stood united. Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, calabar, edo etc!
Bottom line, the earlier you stop the blame game the better. The Last I saw was Yoruba alaye boys were responsible for the attacks on Lagos assets. It was not igbo! Show 1 evidence of igbo attacking you. You as a person ie "ThatFairGuy1" saying "us". I bet you are not from Lagos and probably do not own a pin how much more asset or business in Lagos. nedekid, I still remember the favor you did for me one year ago. Will remain ever grateful. Bless your kind heart! |

I love the way Muslims bury their dead. But there have been reports that lots of people have been buried alive because of the hastiness with which they bury people. A similar event like that personally happened in my village. Aside that, there is absolutely nothing about islam that I like. The hijab? like it is a symbol of purity or what? As a kaduna-based guy, I've seen it all. No one can use the hijab logic to mean that muslimahs are pure, not at all! And for the so-called oath, a mere digital instruction cannot determine my faith. The FG civil servants from Kano, Jigawa, Kebbi, Yobe, & zamfara combined (5114) are not upto those from IMO state alone (5825). All this nepotism or lopsided employment you're calling is out of ignorance because more northeners are employed now to balance & check the Federal character system. Stop telling us that we depend on govt to earn living. We live our own life. The Director General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dr. Joe Abah, on Friday, disclosed that no fewer than 89, 511 civil servants are in the Federal Government’s employ, across States of the Federation. States that topped the chat with most civil servants in the Federal Civil Service are Imo (5825), Kogi (5186), Ogun (4669) Delta (4419) and Akwa-Ibom (4416). In percentage, Imo State makes up ( 7 %), Kogi (6 %), Ogun (5% ), Delta (5%) and Akwa Ibom (5%). According to Abah, the Federal Civil Servants by State of Origin read thus: 1. Abia=3579 2. Adamawa=1727 3. Akwa Ibom=4416 4. Anambra=3576 5. Bauchi=1172 6. Bayelsa=957 7. Benue=3951 8. Borno=1822 9. Cross River=2681 10. Delta=4419 11. Ebonyi=865 12. Edo=3890 13. Ekiti=2613 14. Zamfara=543 Not Specified: 518 “The total nominal roll as at November 2015 is 89,511,” Abah added. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/12/89-511-civil-servants-in-fgs-employ-by-nov-2015-dg-bpsr/ Federal character system.. Did I just read you say that?? Go and tell that to Buhari whose leaders of the security outfits are only occupied by Northerners. Name them. Police, Army, Navy, DSS, EFCC, etc. Just name them! And what even raises suspicion is the fact that they are not only northerners but also Muslims. You don't know what you are saying to be honest. You even ran to go and cite a journal that was written in 2012...very laughable indeed That employment structure you quoted was done by someone with an understanding of the federal character system that you quoted. But Federal character system in Buhari's dictionary Lailai Who is the current leader of NNPC? Mele Kyari a Northern Muslim from Borno. Biko how many barrels of oil is produced in Borno everyday Who is the third and fourth in command? Still Northern Muslim. Facts speaks for themselves....except you want to feed on sheer dishonesty |

Coronabirus: See low life, Benz is everywhere here, do u think Benz is worth attention here. Go to Northern Universities and see how children drive cars, I mean cars. Try to wake up from that nonsensical propaganda and face reality. A person u always think is wearing shabby clothes have his children ride Range, Benz, Prado's, bclassy cars for school because he's a farmer. Farming is lucrative! Farming what I schooled in the North and this farming shi.t you're yapping here is nonsense. Go and check the people at the upper echelon of NNPC leadership and see the people that occupy the positions. Your guess is right! Of course, the Northerners. Most of the money is from the North is either directly or incredibly linked to Oil money and that is why the North always want to cling to power so that they can be allotting those money from Oil to themselves while the South that has the Oil benefits less. Why do you think the NorthWest and the NorthEast detests Restructuring and always scream One-Nigeria when it is suggested that the country is restructured? It is time to tell ourselves the truth, the Northern elites (North West and North East) are power-hungry and will do anything to retain power and with this crude mindset, this country is not going anywhere! |

Coronabirus: Who have more bad leaders between the two sides. Is protest against SARS a protest worth doing in the North? A gang of pro-yahoo protest u xpect us to come out for. Go and do ur research well despite challenges the leadership we've in most Northern state you'd feel completely contented to have it. We get scholarship from state govt, reasonable amount, school fees at very low fee (some states pay as low as fee around N10k), when we're going for any govt recruitment state and LG pay our fare, feeding, and pocket money, annually there is scholarship for Medicine and Engineering scholarships abroad, if u're Senator/Rep/House of assembly member u either find job for youth or do a beneficial project otherwise going back to house will be difficult, No zone perform close to Northern governors practically not media hype in terms of infrastructure. Only in the south u'll hear retiree suffering for years without pension, some have to even protest or die with no pension, even minimum wage isn't yet implemented in most southern states ( 6 out of 7 Northern Western states started paying in the first 2 months from its effect). If there is any issue of brutality or harassment like SARS in the south we'll run to our traditional, religious or political leaders and before things get out of hand it'll be controlled. Pls dnt judge ppl of from far or based on media and bigotic propaganda. You talk as if you are talking to a southerner. I am a Northerner who have toured the length and breadth of this country. Don't even dare compare the North and the South because facts and stats speak for themselves. The standard of living in very low in the North compared to the South. As it stands now, the North have more criminal elements than any region in the country. |
