Romance › Re: Beautiful, Caring & Intelligent But Cant Cook - Please Advise by Meeky(m): 5:46pm On Sep 28, 2012 |
vivian chinaza: Being an independent woman doesn't automatically make you a man! And it really pains me when women blame their inability to be a real woman on "independence!" A woman should be a woman anytime any day! Being independent is just an added advantage!
@ op, I'm gonna be as blunt as possible...... The worst thing that can ever happen to a man is to marry a woman who can't cook or keep a house together! A woman is supposed to be a home maker! Forget this love matter.......na u go tire by the time it starts frustrating you! This is not yankee or Jand! This is Africa for goodness sake! Here in Naija, men come home from their hectic jobs to a delicious home made meal prepared by their lovely wives, not order for chinese food joor! Don't even think of house helps cos its gonna get worse, and the lineage passes over to ur kids (girls) cos a snake begets a snake! If she can learn fine, in fact if she truly loves you and she know what marriage is all about she shouldn't wait for you to say something before she starts making an effort! But if she doesn't want to make an effort pls drop her like she is hot!
In fact, she is even missing a lot! Oh yes! She is missing that innermost joy that every woman feels when the man she love eats her food and almost chop the plate join cos he enjoys her meal! THIS POINT BLANK ANSWER.SHE SAID IT LIKE IT IS.CUDNT HAVE BIN SAID ANY BETTER |

Romance › Re: Should I Pull Out From This Marriage,i Am Tired And Confused!. by Meeky(m): 12:37pm On Aug 27, 2012 |
Kasalx: THE STARTING POINT: Sincere advice please; 1.Dated a girl,we are from different tribes, love her and have never put eye on another girl all through our dating time and roughly after a year we agreed that we should marry if it things work out. 2.One day she informed me that one of her relations who is an envangelist told her that she is pregnant and should not temper with the pregnancy, otheriwse it will cause her life,i told her to go for a test, she did and confirmed positive. 3.I told her no problem, though since i m not yet financially ok for marriage, she should keep it,when i am ok finacially we can do the marriage properly, she refused and said we should do it now to save her and the parents from shame,we rushed and do the traditional marriage which up till today,i have not been able to raise money and complete the remaining marriage rites even the bride price has not been paid because no money.I cannot even save money to cater for all family needs, let alone completing the marriage rites, and she is not working.A year after we also did a court marriage, but no church wedding for lack of money. Its been a finacial pressure.
THE BREAKING SYMPTOMS. 1.Truly,there is no much peace in the union--most atimes quarrel and misunderstandings here and there. 2.I have been trying to convince her that we should be attending the same church, she refused-hence we have been attending differenct churches. 3.She dont want to learn my native language so as to familiarise herself with my tribe especially the aged people at home,i have tried teaching her but she is not interested.Anytime she travels home, she will be looking like a dump because at home its mainly native language. 4.She hide her Hiv status for me which i later discovered after some time that she is positive.-Love making has been so scaring rather than fun, though still make it with her but it had made me to look for outside atimes which wasnt my intention, and my conscience hurts me because i believe in faithfulness. 5.Till date,i m working but no single penny as savings.Monthly expenses is unavoidably more than monthly salary,no room to save money and establish another thing as a source of income. I am very confused, that i am considering pulling out from this thing called marriage, though she do beg me against taking such action, but the above mentioned are there, this is not how i want to build my family.I am not finding joy in the union. Please i need a sincere advice. if dis is true then u r on a long thing.hw on earth did u even get into dis in the 1st place,in dis day and age.chei!SMH |
Haba cocoa, can't you read the handwriting on the wall? You said it yourself; the relationship is getting boring, meaning that 'spark', that love between you too is dying down! And trust me when relationships start to get boring, it's either the man or the lady in question has his eyes and attention fixed elsewhere. And in your case, you partner is already cheating or is definitely walking along that path. It's as easy as that my dear.
well said bro.it cudnt have bin said better |
Christianity Etc › Re: Praying For Your Enemies To Die, Is It Right Or Wrong? by Meeky(m): 12:22pm On Aug 27, 2012 |
nedostic: @Goshen360,
Spot on.
I believe as Christians and considering the pains and sufferings of Christ,we should likewise bless our supposedly 'human enemies'. This is why the disciples in the days of old were called Christians-Christ like.
Our main enemy is Satan with his demons.
Our battle is not flesh and blood but spirits in diverse dimensions and powers.
I used to think in that direction that human beings are our enemies and would bind, scatter and use a lot of military jargons all in the name of destroying my enemies.
Poor me! would even carry a knife and start stabbing an invisible enemy.
Ignorance and delusion of the highest degree!
It sounds funny and idiotic of me but the fact of life remains that I really did all these nasty things all in the name of praying against my enemies. Worse of all,I still was very rooted in sins and I did not see any enemy that died as a result of my supposedly intense 'over-comers' prayers.
Alas!I never knew what I was even practising in a way was well-refined and religious WITCHCRAFT-Paganism.
As Christians, we have the authority in the name of Jesus Christ to cast out demons BUT NOT to BIND as most folks believe.
No man has the power to bind any demon except Jesus Christ.
I have never stated that we do not have enemies but our prayers must be properly channeled against wicked and invisible forces.
Yes, as Christians we have the right in Christ to destroy the works of the enemies just be decreeing it,it shall be established by faith.
Let us pray wisely and most importantly see fellow human beings as our brothers and sisters despite their wickedness.
Methinks, the greatest prayer is OUR LORD's PRAYER.
Mind you, one can equally be an enemy to him(her)self based on one's unbridled appetite for food, fame, money, women, and other material possessions. Personally, I have been an enemy to myself on food(junks, fries, chicken meat, etc) and babes(women)-crazy about beautiful slim chics.
God in His infinite mercies has just started to make me a work-in-progress for His dear kingdom. God's mercy is beyond human thinking. Please no one get should get me wrong. I do not have a holier than thou mentality because I believe its only God that can justify anyone. I still have my private battles and succumb to certain pressures of life but I do count on the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ for HIS finished works on the cross.
PLS: This does not give room for me to take God's grace for granted. A true son must know what HIS Father likes!Thank you!
May the Lord bless us and grant us wisdom not to pray amiss. u getting it wrong.bible says whatsoever u bind on earth is bound in heaven. The enemy(adversary)is the devil and he is d one dat acusses d brethren,so if u dont bind him u r in trouble, even Jesus said get behind me satan while he was tempted.havent u heard dat we wrestle not again flesh and blood but against principalities and power and rulers of d kindom of darkness, dis are all of d devil.so pls when praying bind dis things |
