Camry is a full size family sedan while a RAV4 is a CUV.

I am limiting my choices to Toyota Rav 4 2010 or Toyota camry 2010...

I wish to know the Pros and cons experienced by those who are already using same brand and model

I don't want to finish making purchase and later say "Had I known"

Advice, suggestions and live experiences on this two products highly solicited...

I HAVE NOT BUILT MINE BUT I HAVE MADE SACRIFICES FOR ONE.

OUR THEN RENTED BUILDING WAS BEEN MARKED BY LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT FOR DEMOLITION DURING THE ERA OF FAILED BUILDING COLLAPSE FAR BACK 05/06 AND ALREADY POPSY HAD ACQUIRED PIECE OF LAND AT BADAGRY.

PARENTS CALLED I AND MY 2 SIBLINGS THAT SCHOOL HAS TO BE DROPPED FOR ONE YEAR TO MAKE SURE WE SEE OUR BUILDING TO COMPLETION.

SO WE SKIPPED SCHOOL ONE YEAR, DROPPED THE LUXURY MEALS AND SPENDINGS AND WORK WAS MOVING ON OUR SITE SPEEDILY.

THAT EXPERIENCE THOUGHT ME TWO MAJOR LESSONS: YOU DO NOT NEED A FAT ACCOUNT TO OWN A BUILDING OR PROPERTY AND THERE IS NO STRONGER FORCE LIKE A UNITED FAMILY. MORNING ALL

Car Talk / Re: Tips For Driving Safely In The Rain by Meetleader: 7:36pm On Jun 21, 2017
Let me share a personal experience I had sometime in December 2016...

I was driving down from Gwarimpa estate to the airport to drop my sibling off @ the airport to catch a 9pm flight...

20 mins into the journey It started raining heavily...

On getting to Lugbe axis... wiper stopped working...

Time was already 8:15pm..

We couldn't afford to miss that flight...

We were somewhat confused and even panicked...

To make things worse... the street lights were all shut down...

Hmmm... had no option than to risk it...

Now here is what I did..

1. I reduced speed to a controlable level...

2. Turned on hazard light...

3. Used a rag to clean the fog on the windshield @ intervals..

I noticed that I was going too slow... and if I continued like that.... my sibling might miss the flight...

4. So I watched out for all these VIPs that drive in convoy of black Toyota Landcruiser Prado Jeeps...

5. As soon as I spotted one of such convoy... I married up with the backup escort vehicle...

6. I was 99.9% sure they were also heading to the airport..

7. That's how I did follow follow with them till I arrived the airport safely...

8. In fact I joined the convoy into the VIP driveway at the terminal ...

9. Airport security mistook my vehicle to be part of the convoy...

10. That's how my sibling alighted from the car like a boss... and was treated by airport officials like a VIP...

11. We got to understand that the vip we were following was also in a hurry to catch same flight...

12. We were able to beat the timing ...

So if ur confronted with such situation... this might come in handy...

Health / Re: Positive Outlook To Life As An HIV Positive Person. by Meetleader: 2:37am On Jun 19, 2017
Tinyemeka:

I totally understand you bro. I studied applied microbiology and had the opportunity of doing my 4 months Industrial Training attachement at a Federal Medical Centre. Was rotated around the various units in the Med Lab Dept. Serology unit handled RVS tests and we had them in droves everyday. One day one man came in for tests. Extremely thin, pale and sickly. You'd think he had acute Hepatitis B infection and wasn't gonna last the next week. I was to draw his blood for Retroviral screening.

Long story short, I pricked myself when I attempted to cap the needle after drawing his blood. I can still feel the hot flush, the shock, the sting, the rush of blood from my head anytime I recall that moment. Four other staff were in the room with me, but I didn't let them know what had happened. I squeezed out as much blood as I could from the finger and swabbed with Jik bleach. Couldn't continue working that day. Made up an excuse and left later on. Got home and couldn't think of anything else. I was devastated to say the least. Did I also add that the patient's result came out positive? Everyone already knew that was going to be the outcome.

I lost appetite and withdrew completely. Stopped talking to my siblings and parents. My mom noticed this and had to sit me down two days later to query my sudden change of attitude. I just laid it out bare to her. She expressed shock, asked why I had kept quiet all the while and said we were going to another FMC that specialised in HIV management immediately. We went there the next day where they did my screening (came out negative) and put me on Post-exposure prophylaxis regimen for 30 days. To this day, nobody, not even my late dad, siblings, nobody except my mom is aware of this incident.

Now the reason I'm spilling all these here, is to let you know that miracles happen. This incident occurred Sept 10, 2004. Yup. 13 years ago. I'm currently married with a pretty wife and daughter, and another baby about to land very soon. I have been negative ever since. My family members are all negative and the babies were all conceived naturally without any special arrangement. Just God's Divine Grace. I must confess that i was MEGA apprehensive when we went for screening prior to our wedding. Was sweating bullets when the nurses called us in to hand us our results. Of course it was negative. My life has been a miracle bro. I once in a while go on Facebook to just type those words "My being alive today is still a miracle" and people do not understand what I mean.

I was a virgin when that needlestick occurred, so I believe you when you say you did not get infected sexually.

I don't have much words to give you bro. You know better. All I can say is take your medications religiously, stay positive!

You definitely have a testimony to share.

Thank GOD for mercy. GOD is the most merciful

Career / Re: 4 Important Questions You Should Ask Yourself Before Choosing A Course To Study by Meetleader: 8:55pm On Jun 09, 2017
youngstarlit:
Many undergraduates and graduates are regretting due to their choice of course today. They have failed to consider some essential facts while choosing a field of study. This is usually due to influence by parents, friends and family members. As this decision is a sensitive one that determines the future of a man, I have decided to write this article today so that you will not make a decision with a regretful end.
If you are at the point of choosing a field of study, the following are the questions you should ask yourself.

1. DO I HAVE PASSION FOR THIS COURSE?

The word "PASSION" is irresistible and should never be underestimated. Choosing a course without desire often lead to regret. If you have passion for computer and internet and hate biology, it will be best to go for Computer science or engineering. Don't be influenced by other people's decision to go for Biology-ralated course like medicine and surgery when you don't like biology. If you like chemistry, then you shod choose it's related courses like Pharmacy, Biochemistry Chemical engineering e.t.c. Passion for a course should be considered first because:

-Course you have passion for are usually easier to study
-Courses you don't have passion for are usually harder

2. AM I CAPABLE TO STUDENTS THIS COURSE?
Your ability is best known to you. Consider an average or below average student choosing Medicine and Surgery. What happens? It will be difficult for such a person to cope with the course requirement which eventually leads to failure. So, consider your ability, how much you can read, your retentive capability before choosing a course.

3. HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO STUDENTS THIS COURSE?
"Money" is another important thing to consider while choosing a course. Consider the standard of living of your parents or your sponsor. Courses that involves more practical and expensive such as Anatomy, Medicine, Animal-related Courses should not be chosen by someone with a low standard of living. It will affect you during your period of study.

4. WHAT IS THE STATUS OF THIS COURSE IN THE ECONOMY?
I'll break this question down into two parts:
A. Is employment readily or rarely available?
B. How much will I get paid after getting a job?

A. Hot cake Courses like medicine, pharmacy, law, chemical engineering, computer engineering, Mass communication, civil engineer, nursing e.t.c have high demand in the Labour market while Courses like religious study, music, zoology, sports, sociology and geography are not marketable. So, choose Courses that are in high demand in labour market.
B. Everybody wants to earn some cool cash. Nobody wants to graduate and start earning #20,000-30,000 yearly. While some courses pays greatly, others are manageable. Everybody wants to earn hundreds of thousands yearly. Hot cake Courses mentioned above can fetch you such cash. So, choose a course that pays so you won't regret in life. However, geographical location should also be considered because a course which pays in Nigeria may not pay in USA.

I believe if you can consider the questions above, you will make the best decision in choosing a course for study.

Don't you dare underestimate Geography...

GOD has blessed me so much with that course ...

So after your mum sold her bike for 110k to support you... you want to pay her back by committing suicide... Bross... think again..

You've told us of the several efforts you've put in... in trying to secure a Job... but you've not said anything about your prayer life...

My brother GOD can give you anything, and I mean anything...

All the treasures of the heavens and the earth belongs to the LORD ... he is the ALPHA and OMEGA the BEGINNING and the END...

Let me share a testimony...

After graduating from the university... I waited some years for a good job but without success... though I had a job... but the position was not befitting for a university Graduate... I needed a better JOB... and I took the following steps..

1. I remembered a vow I made to GOD while I was in Secondary school and I fulfilled the vow...

2. I became very obedient to my parents so that I can earn their blessings...

3. I deliberately abstained from all forms of sexual activities and alcohol... I laid off the girls, reduced social media activities and focused on GOD ...

4. I entered into the new year... fasting and praying... at one time.. I fasted for 40 days.. another time I fasted for 14 days and again I fasted for 7 days.. I lost so much weight that people kept asking me if I was sick... I simply replied that I was fine..

5. I stopped jumping from one church to another... I located a good church and attended church programs regularly including a Holy Ghost Service by Pastor E.A Adeboye... in that service... Pastor Adeboye prophesied great things and I claimed the prophesies... I participated in Holy communion services...

6. I downloaded powerful worship songs to my phone and sang them to the LORD both day and night...

7. I knew and I could feel that I had started building a wonderful relationship with GOD... I could hear GOD speak to me... and I knew he heard me...

8. I made a covenant to GOD and told him what I would do to his glory if he gave me that desired job...

Now within 6 months... these were the results that followed...

8. GOD healed me completely from all my diseases and sicknesses... my health was perfect..

9. I was promoted and giving a higher position at my place of work..

10. I submitted job applications to two of the most highly paid organizations in the country..

11. I was invited for job interviews by the two organization and my performance at the interviews were excellent... deep within me... I knew only GOD could make such happen the way it did..

12. Both organizations offered me Job employment.... the salaries were mind blowing... and I was initially confused on which one to go for... meanwhile I had a second class lower division in Geography... just imagine...

13. I was able to afford that dream car... that dream house... that dream wife... and I could travel anywhere around the globe for vacations or business trips...

14. Those people who were once complaining that I was loosing too much weight started complaining that I was gaining too much weight...

15. I caught up with my mates that succeeded before me and I even overtook them...

I Laughed and I laughed loud...

GOD is real... GOD is true... come to him and he would give you rest...

Bross... GOD has not condemned you... so please don't condemn yourself...

sometimes in life... to become full you need to be empty..

That thought of suicide in your mind is from the devil and surely not from GOD...

If GOD can do it for me then surely he can do it for you...

Draw close to GOD...

Please don't give up on GOD...

Before erecting building structures...

Do well, to get the expert opinion of a geographer, surveyor, hydrologists, or any of the environmental professionals..

Never build on a flood plain...

The moment I saw the photos... I knew that would be Bayelsa.. Damnn that city has very poor drainage...

If 9hr rain could do this... don't bother to imagine what 5 days marathon rain would do..

And please PHCN should cut-off power supply before someone gets electrocuted...
