HajiaNotu:Depends on which state/center. For Lagos 3 months seems to be the average duration for DIY. So if you need it sooner, that should inform you on what you'd need to do so you don't lose opportunities. |
kennylee:Sent you an Email |
olamieseun:Please could you give me your person's contact? |
kennylee:The end of July |
Typically I'd rather wait but at this point my passport has been in production since 9 weeks after capture now and I need it before late October so I'm looking for alternatives. If any of you know any contact that can fast track in Alausa after capture please let me know. |
megaxart:UPDATE: So I checked at the NIS office and it was not ready. They said they just started working on July so I should check back in 2-3wks. So if you captured in June at Alausa, you should probably come and check. It might be ready |

Hello everyone. So I've been tracking my passport since I captured on July 28 (at Alausa) and it's been stuck at the final stage since the very first day but today I checked and it's showing no progress at all. What could be wrong? Do I need to go the passport office or could this be a sign that the passport is ready?

Hello everyone. I'm currently in 200L and would like to get my 100L transcript but there isn't an online avenue for those who haven't already graduated to do this. I also tried downloading the 100L transcript available on my kofa but it came out blank (my personal details were filled but no grade or GPA was shown). How can I go about getting this transcript without going to Benin (I stay in Lagos). At least an emailed digital copy. |
HASSANwinger:That's great news. That means they'll soon start working on July applications. Was it 32 pages or 64 pages? |
Marike2:Congrats on getting your passport. I captured on on the 28th of July in Alausa and my passport has been stuck on production in progress from the very day I captured (I checked right after coming home). My collection date was supposed to be the 1st of September but it still says it's in production. Do you think it'd be a good idea for me to do what you did? |
Hello everyone so my order is at this stage now and is apparently being handled by speedaf. What am I supposed to do now?
|
Wizzypro101:You could just create a chipper account |
teemac01:If the total value of your order is over $20 (or $50 in some banks) you won't be able to use your card to make the purchase due to the monthly limit of 20USD. To bypass this you can use a virtual dollar card on platforms like chipper. I made my account and verified it on Saturday in a couple of hours and made a purchase with it today. It was pretty smooth. The only issue is their rate, it's pretty high at N710/$1 but they do have a 5% payback program on purchases. |
ezeknov:I'm yet to upgrade it since I'll need a regulatory ID for that (which I'll be getting next month). |
Hello everyone so I'm in need of a Virtual dollar card to make purchases on AliExpress and so far I've set up a chipper account and discovered that their rate is about N710/$1 and I'd just like to know if there are any better and/or cheaper options out there. |
gaby:Thanks a ton for responding. If I may ask, which bank did you use and is there still a shortage of $5 notes? |
Hi everyone. So I used to use Worldremit's cash pick up service up until early April when banks (mainly GT) claimed that worldremit's cash pick up service is no longer working. Now I'm out of other options for receiving funds from foreign clients and I'm curious to know whether or not the service is up and running again (or if it was ever down even). |
aieromon:Thank you |
Hello again. Can I use a print out of the "improved NIN Slip" for the online application instead of the original NIN slip? The original NIN slip given to me was printed on plain printer paper so sadly after a year it faded but I managed to get a copy of my improved NIN slip from the MWS app, so can I use instead or do I need reissue the original NIN slip. |
Venekconsultt:Thank you. I'll certainly go ahead with it |
Venekconsultt:Thank you. Will it be an issue during capturing? |
sociadoc:Oh I see. Now I'm a little confused because someone else said that a copy of the LGA ID specifically is enough (I do have my original birth cert and NIN). I really wouldn't want to have to go through the stress of travelling back to school just to get the certificate but if I have to, so be it I guess. |
adubam:Thank you so much! |
Hi everyone. I plan on getting an international passport soon and I have all the required documents. The only issue is I don't have the original copy of my L.G.A. ID as I unfortunately left it back in my apartment at university before coming home due to the ASUU strike. I do have a high quality coloured soft copy of it on my phone, would I able to print this out and use it or does it have to be the original copy? |
killerdragon:Hello, I don't do the printing and framing myself. Once the digital painting I'll send the high resolution image to you via email. The price is N5000 only |
