Joshthefirst: it means that all the sins that you've commited since you were born and are remitted and you're declared completely innocent before God and perfect in righteousness and unworthy of hell. It also means you've been saved from the power of darkness. You no longer need to be in bondage of continually commiting sin because of lust. You're saved. You're also saved from everything that sin brought upon the world, the curse, etc, the salvation culminating on the last day.

It means you've become a citizen of heaven, a member of the family of God, able to know God.
What a blessed thing it is to be saved.

Angels are spirit beings that cannot bear seed. And at the time of Cain the distance between God and man was still close, communion was still almost face to face. There was no need for revelations. This sums it up! He will accept a sacrifice (have mercy) on whom He desires. Its not a matter of deeds. Abel did nothing marvelous to attract God's compassion.
