If our system is working, they won't have any reason to go and study in overseas, let alone getting killed.
Sadly, FG and ASUU still dey blow war.
Your statement is naive, Education is part of Tourism. Even Americans travel to Canada to study, I know Canadians who travel to St Kitts and Nevis for their medical school.

Nigeria should just develop so that she can command more respect in the commity of nations

Lol. Typical of Nsempas. Always waiting for blame game grin.......but when "the going is going good", .......well, except maybe very few, rare few. It's well.
Mcy, I think that statement is condescending. I also think you should name those always waiting for the blame game, they will probably constitute less than 10% of members in this group.Don't lump everyone here together.

At the end everyone should strive to be masters in investment analysis without waiting for people. That way nobody will be looking up to anyone for stock recommendation. No one on this thread including you, OGG,myself or anyone should see themselves as larger than life such that they can not be criticised in a constructive way. What I detest is shifting blame to people because of a wrong call.

Also, If the thread has lost meaning to anyone they should create a watzapp group and allow us to see road. The thread has lost its meaning so what are you doing there . Somehow the thread will continue to survive. People will also continue to make rash statement from time to time and they will be corrected. So all these condescending talks are not necessary .

I for one wouldnt touch Neimeth or Upl for investment purpose because they can't match my volume but I won't tackle OGG on such recommendation. If I tackled him, would I have committed a crime ?

If you feel slighted by anyone just state your point, ignore them and move on. When people abuse you it means you are either doing something wrong or right. STNWAUME who made the comment was roundly corrected by everyone, so why coming out to flog the issue again?

It's a faceless forum lets learn to take what people say with a pinch of salt.

What value do you see in UACN, why you wan buy am? That very important question should be a precursor to pricing in my view.

Hi meine, i hope you got me now. I am loaded in GTB so, its only normal to check on its weekly movements grin grin grin
I am loaded small with about 700k units, that's why I am interested. Right now, I wish I loaded more. Bought at 21.5 , meristem showed 14% gain few days ago. Zenith that got the bulk of my funds still dey 7% . I wished I followed my gut and sticked to only GTB

Ok, here is my attempt at applying the Discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation method to Guiness Nigeria PLC.

I pulled their annual reports from 2010 to 2019 and this is what i saw:
.
Guinness fair value is not more than N10 in my books, I usually use earning valuation models. So Those people doing Jijo with Guinness shouldn't be carried away. Make Una no looseguard o. Take profit when you can. As soon as the next poor or average result lands everything may scatter again.

Though If the market remain bullish, sentimental and follow come analysis will sustain its price increase. But nothing fundamental is happening there for now.

BARGAIN HUNTERS LOOK WELL.

i do not want to hope again Sir. my UACN is deep red but i am not selling..Hope is not a strategy in stock investing. School fees paid. undecided
You could have avoided this school fees because the red flags were raised by many here. Even the choirmaster of the UACN mass choir is nowhere to be found . You did well by sticking to your plan on fcmb. Hope is not a good investment strategy at all. grin

Which time in particular, se na 6 months ni Abi na 1 year? Is there any special dividend investors will get from the sales? Also What is the future EPS of UACN? You fit clarify these make we end the matter.

We analysed most these stuffs and more in one of the Intl forum I belong to, last night.
Oga you like to dey SHALAYE, Just admit this was a wrong call and move on. Everyone who bought because of unbundling has been disappointed shikena. By the time all these your postulation materialize investors would have made more returns from GTB, Access, Wapco, Zenith etc.

Me still believe that investors fate are in the hands of a UACN management that has not proven themselves to care about retail investors. Only the management has collected cash from this deal. grin

If you support your position with the expected EPS of UACN after this sales then that would have been more robust. But not all these chest beating like you are a director in UACN. There is nothing you are seeing that layman investor no fit see. Wetin I sabi sef. grin grin grin

Service fee is definitely one of the highest (1.35%) but their customer service is good. I use them
Meristem is very expensive and not good for jijo. Good customer service though.

Standard fees is 1.8% to buy and 2% to sell. 1.35% to buy if you negotiate.

Just be following and enjoying their post. wink cheesy ;DBe looking at them like LUKEMAN, and smilling like ISMAILA. grin grin grin
If the stock like make he enter North East and Sambisa forest ,it doesn't change its fundamentals and the fact that there is nothing in it for retail shareholders for now except they announce a special dividend.

A lot of money miss road may interprete the recent acquisition differently. At the end water will find its level.

Seunn11 is not a wicked man, he has the right to desire UACN @ N4 just I desire to buy more UACN @ N5. Even ARM also has the right to desire to sell their UACN @ N96.

Now to correct an impression, I did not sell my land just because I was in a horry to buy UACN, rather I sold it to provide for a back up in case the price of UACN choose to go down after investing 100% of what I had in my porfolio before selling the land. As it stands now I have a whole lot of cash (sales of the land, dividend of wapco and little dividend of JB. And I am still waiting for the dividend of UACN by 16 July to join them in case the unbundling continues to delay) waiting for the price of UACN to fall to N5 and below.

Like I said ealier I am willing to wait for the UACN and the unbundling project untill December 2020.

I have no fear at all because i did a very good research before deciding to invest into UACN

I konw what I am investing into and my reason for investing in it.

One of the top secrets of the world billionaires is that they invest in things that they know very well they do not gamble
I hope this guy was just boasting and didn't dive in with all cash available. Apparently research was not properly done.

If I were on uacn I wouldn't sell now. Just wait and see if they share the proceeds of the sale.

Secondly, NSE is unpredictable, so don't be surprised to see uacn on full bid tomorrow.
Another round of Hope Investing. Una no dey tire? While Blackney was selling shares people were giving juicy reasons for selling instead of facing facts.

I guess many investors in UACN didn't even digest the half year financial statement released last week. If they did, they would have exited the bus before this news. If I am not mistaken

Loss Per Share from Continuous operation : 7kobo
EPS from discontinued operation: 32kobo.

Best case EPS scenario : 60kobo by full year. Probable Dividend payout : 50kobo or nothing at all.

Ladies and gentlemen this stock shouldn't be selling higher than UCAP. Fair value is around N2.50 and N4. No be everything be FVE analysis some are just commonsense.

Who talk say NSEMPA and poor results no fit move price? How can a honest and responsible management be silent on such a sensitive and attractive topic like the "unbundling" If nothing fishy is happening.

Thank you so much but if I am ready to loose out on one, which do you think?
At what price did you buy each one? You didnt mention that.

Date for UCAP dividend is almost certain and sure. Date for UACN unbundling is not known, dividend payment is not sure, Capital appreciation might have been priced in. So lets turn the table, if i am in your shoes which one should i sell?

Investing in your own security outfits to keep you alive in a rugged and dangerous environment like ours today is also a wise investment.
How will you ensure that the hired uniformed security or private security won't conspire to kidnap you?. Haven't you heard of soldiers and policemen teaming up with kidnappers to operate?

These private securities are not the solution, poverty needs to go down drastically for crime to go down.
