Finally, the 10-10 percent daily gain prophecy made by the lone voice in the wilderness, the great Oracle, since late 2019, is here with us. Happy are those who tarried and persevered to experience it.
Lol, Rabbidoracle the Oga himself come and tell us when to activate our parachute to run away. I was a bit surprised this bull came in October.

My exit plans were for march 2021 after taking all dividends. But this bull has scattered all plans.

Meshpips kindly fine-tune that VWAP model ,we may need it next year to enter at the year low. cheesy

LIke I'm literary chasing stocks.
They do not seem to be entering my trap.
The best time to set traps was few months ago, it will be wise to sit back now and watch for pullbacks.

Zenith, Wapco, UBA are still cheap at current prices for fundamental investors.

In Atiku we trust.
This is the dumbest post I have seen in a long while. What IP does DUBAI have? Is it that easy to steal trademarked IPs? Is it wise to elect an IP thief as Nigeria's president.

I hope this country is still redeemable.

In all honesty, UACN has the potentials to reward its investors handsomely but the fear is the kind of management they have. But... no one really know their mind. And for me, I don't even trust those guys.

Have you ever seen a black man selling his cashcow in a massive way? Compare that to the Elumelu family that is busy accumulating UBA because they know what the next quarter holds in terms of performance.

I have been saying there are better fruits in the market but some people will prefer to die here. I still wish the UACN faithfuls the best of luck though.

It takes a lot of courage to invest and I don't wish anyone loss.

Lol you brought back memories for me, seems we were on campus in the same era. I saw too much bloodshed in Lasu, took me years to forget those sights. I saw men burnt in front of me, I saw men stabbed or butchered in front of me. Thankfully I didn't join any yeye frats but hits were commonplace in Lasu between 2000 to 2005. I lived in Cassidy close to Lions hostel.

I remembered the yeye peace parley called by the VC among all cult groups, it was a very stupid idea. How do young men who have given their souls to the devil embrace peace? They even made the rivals embrace themselves at the parley. However I saw Currency threatening a rival cult member shortly after that parley at the student arcade. Aiye and Eiye killing themselves like rats. Those were crazy days.

You forgot a certain axxelord named Tommy who was killed in a hotel around Oba dawodu,Bubbly guy and well loved by many. He was used to count scores. Where were his rugged men when he needed them? Tunde salawu remain the only mystery to me till date I can only confirm he was killed by Aiye, was he a member of SEC or a sympathiser of SEC?

I am really sad with how cultism has gone viral on Nigerian streets , if things continue this way, does our country have a future?

I though more people try to drink away their sorrows when depressed and have no money, has the economy made more people repent?
Not necessarily the case, in a depressed economy the purchasing power of consumers also decline. If someone could do serve them round with 10 bottles of Heineken in the past he may not be able to afford more than 2 bottles now due to job loss or what have you.

Secondly most of the people who try to drink away their sorrow may resort to all those cheap and herbal alcohol because of their affordability.

I think Guinness will be most affected under the current economic climate because they don't sell the common man drink like Nigerian Breweries does.

Kid how old are you? Didn't you see I deliberately ignored you since yesterday in order not to derail the thread? Why mention my name again? Since what I said keeps giving you sleepless nights. Let me torture you more.

Your analogy of swapping UBA and ACCESS based on dividends initially without considering transfer fees etc is naive at best. I smile whenever I see You using abbreviations like MMM,GIN,FOV,FAV, GCON, to bamboozle people and sound intelligent . I can also see you clearly depend on this thread to get some atom of self esteem and ego boosting as you don't seem to have anything serious working for you outside there.

I also repeat again that you are same as CHARLESDSNIPER , that moniker was created by you to fight your dirty battles , rub your ego and attack some other members under the cover of darkness. You are some bloody coward and You sure have serious EGO issues even though you seem to be talented.

I understand your anger at Trump but when you say He is done for, you've written him off already. But You and i know the independents hold the wildcard not both parties. Unfortunately the whole thing is down to few swing states and recent polls show Trump is now tied in Pennsylvania which is supposed to be part of the Democratic blue wall.

Despite all they throw at him, his base remains solid. What he needs is just some additional 7% of voters to break his way which can happen. Like you said let's await the turnout from all sides. It will be an interesting one. grin grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by meine: 9:10pm On Sep 06, 2020

He is done for
Regardless of the outcome of the election
Something tells me that Trump will edge out a narrow win. Most white Americans who form about 65% of the American population are behind him. Biden is lagging behind Hillary in terms of Hispanic Support generally. The minorities who support the Democrats are known to disappoint with turnout on election Day.

For example In the crucial swing state of Florida Trump still has the support of the Cuban Americans a key demographic of the swing state of Florida. Even some white Democrats in the key swing states of Pennsylvania, NC, Wisconsin will vote for trump. Fear and Racism can have a powerful influence on people.

There is a genuine and unspoken fear in the mind of white Americans about the Browning of America which they feel the Democrats support. Just like 2016 it seems Trump support is being underated. If the Democrats can turn out like the 2018 mid term elections they have a chance. It's going to be a tough one as this election will shape the future of America but despite his incompetence don't write Trump off.

I am heavily invested in both ACCESS and UBA and I wasnt expecting a great result from the UGAZ at this time because COVID is a leveler for every company. However ACCESS the biggest bank in Nigeria by customer base need to up its game and take serious mentorship from GTB.

How can you grow Earnings by a whooping 20% from 324billion in 2019 to 396billion in 2020 yet your EPS dropped by 9% from 1.90 to 1.73?

Not sure if u truly understood the essence of that post u quoted.
Read the post above and try to reason through that part in bold
You obviously take yourself too serious, regurgitating the same point over and over again. I say again that the analogy you made with UBA and ACCESS was myopic and erroneous at best. It's very naive of you to advise an investor to take such action. If Access was selling cheaper at say N5 than UBA at say N7 that would make perfect sense.

And If your argument was only based on price appreciation which is a purely speculative venture,I am sure about 7 words would have explained your point clearly ,it's not by writing a complete textbook on such a simple matter.

Also if comprehension is one of your challenges my brother there is nothing I can do about it, I have explained myself the best way I can. The issue is with the analogy you made nothing more. That analogy doesn't make commonsense. I am not so jobless to be rereading what doesn't make sense.

Our matter on UACN is still in the cooler, I just let that issue slide for obvious reasons. When investors in GTB are sitting in almost 20 to 40% profit, we don't know the next bombshell of a result that UACN will drop. It's a similar scenario playing out here, you can never be corrected when you make funny analysis. One love bro. grin grin

Hey meine, did u actually read the part in bold from the post u quoted before replying to it?
...or would u require an interpreter to demystify that part for u?
Okay you did mention price appreciation later in your post which is only speculative, it may happen and it may not happen. However the quoted portion of your analogy suggests dividend payment as the reason for the swap which I repeat does not make investment sense.

Should he exit UBA to buy ACCESS Bank because he wants to earn 3% dividend while your total transaction fees will amount to 3%. My brother you didnt think that aspect through at all.

Also, It doesn't make sense to exit UBA for Access right now based on the efficiency factor. Access seems to be the opposite of GTB in terms of efficiency. If I were the investor I will rather stick to UBA based on final dividend payment history. Their share price also moves like a Siamese twins, they may not be far apart in the end.

.

Dude later informed me he managed a successful swap in UBA for ACCESS. ...he did the swap @ same N6.5 price peg.
I simply congratulated him !!
We'll see if it was the right portfolio rebalancing move.

Selah
I just saw this and decided to Chip in. This suggestion of swapping UBA for ACCESS does not seem to make investment sense taking into consideration that you will spend almost 3% on transaction charges when the transaction is completed.

That's not even considering the fact that UBA may pay a higher dividend than ACCESS by full year. If you have premised your argument on a potential higher price or dividend payout by ACCESS this may make sense.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by meine: 3:30pm On Sep 04, 2020
For traders planning to enter the market right now, it will be advisable to wait for pullbacks that may happen after payment of interim dividends by UGAZ before entering.

For long termers Zenith, Access and UBA are still cheap,my price limit for buying Zenith is N23.
Wapco is getting ready for some serious movement, 3rd quarter result will assure doubting thomases of Wapco's full recovery.
The new CBN policy that led to a meagre bank deposit rate of 1.35% will definitely bring some liquidity to the market. The good times seems to be here or not far away.

Though If the market remain bullish, sentimental and follow come analysis will sustain its price increase. But nothing fundamental is happening there for now.
