The much anticipated amugbo , Ragamuffin BULL has entered the market and everyone is claiming to be professional stock picker. grin

I also see some monikers accumulating Covid infected stocks like no tommorrow. As it was in 2008 so it might be in 2020. Apply caution and don't abandon your investment principles, very soon water may find its level again.

If the BULL don mad, if the bull don Kolo? Must you follow am Kolo? Don't get lost in the euphoria.

These few stocks are the ones I think still have some miles to cover before this bull is over . They were chosen either because of their current intrinsic value or because they are still trading below their Year high. Zenith, Wapco, Access, ETI, JB, UBA, Dangsugar etc (For people entering the market in this Bullish era)

Stocks that are trading above their fair Value Dangote cement, UCAP,Afriprud, FCMB, GTB,Guinness

Feel free to Add yours. Newbies should know that overvalued and unhealthy stocks also move with the Bull.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by meine: 6:59pm On Nov 11, 2020
Few weeks ago we said it was unnecessary to swap UBA for ACCESS on the back of just 1 quarter result and because both stocks move like simaese twins.

The event of the past few days have shown that there may be some small sense in that arguement. We still keep Observing. grin

Congratulations Oga Oracle!!!Except that though you saw the promise land, but I'm not sure you're partaking in it huh?
I find this assertion a bit insensitive , are you his portfolio manager to know if he is partaking or not??. The deep pockets on this thread don't display portfolio status like some monikers do. grin

it has to do with nairaland as a whole due to the cyber war between igbo and Yoruba in almost all the sections of nairaland
But that war has never happened here, we have always found a way to settle our issues. The owners have to do something about this.

Since June 2018 that this GOOD FOR NOTHING Buhari REGIME have learned to TAX the BREWERY SECTOR to DEATH via EXCISE DUTY, BARGAIN HUNTERS TAKE NOTE!
Just some questions for Guinness investors

Is Guinness not in the same Sector with Nigerian Breweries?
Is Guinness the only company affected by the excise duty?
Guinness may be sitting on a lot of Cash but we know thats not Guinness primary function, its function is to make that cash sweat and work hard for investors.

Guinness is not doing well right now so investors should trade with caution. From a Loss Per share of 17kobo in Q1 2019 to Loss per share of 38kobo in Q1 2020.

This doesnt mean the company cant turn around its fortune if it gets better managers. I see a lot of inefficiencies in Guinness, If i am buying right now ,I will buy as a long term investment.

Oando has been hovering and ranging for quite a while now. I perceive a strong break out soonest. Anyone with opinions?
In a bullish market any stock can experience capital appreciation, some may even do 100% to 500% like it happened in 2008 but if the tide changes the bottom will fall out quickly. So plan your trade and trade your plan. A bullish market can cause the most useless stock to break-out.

Who says it won't get to km19?
Guys be realistic with your expectations o grin. the only thing that can take GTB to such low price for now is probably a state of emergency, coup detat or sustained violent attacks which we dont pray for. The market crashed early this morning and it recovered a bit before trading closed. Hopefully Things will stabilise by next week monday,

Today i was able to load some Wapco at 16.40 and 17.40, lets see what tommorow bring. The bulls will be around for a while because of the low interest rates in fixed income investments.

Morning guys yesterday was one of the saddest days in the history of this nation. Harmless youths were shot by soldiers at the lekki toll gate.

May the organisers and perpetrators of this demonic show never know peace. I and few friends will be going out today to join any organised resistance we can find. If there is none we go online. Victoria Ascerta!!!

I Will also be Watching to see what impact this will have on the NSE today.

In view of the current nationwide protests, I was tracking the market this morning to see if investors will activate massive dumping of stocks like Zenith so we can mop up like March.

Na lie ooo, no one is dumping. It seems people don wise up. Investors have rationalised that after sometime the youth will calm down. grin grin

Some buying opportunities may soon come up.

When I asked folks to rush into the Guinness bus, many ignored it. I know people will start struggling to get in when it gets to km 30 before heading to km 45. Guinness is it!
Harvestock01:
You move on when you have made your stock recommendations otherwise it becomes MH.
In other words , Broker should resist the urge to Shalaye. grin.

I for one won't buy Guinness until I see the next result. In this NSE I will rather be the Thomas who asked to see the wounds and marks of Jesus before believing.

I am thinking of selling my JB shares at a loss and increasing my holdings in one of ZENITH, WAPCO, GTB, UBA, MTNN, FLOURMILL. What do you all advice?
Never sell at a loss, But if i were to suggest, i would suggest you buy Wapco. Its one of the cheapest in its industry based on recent results released.

We are saying the same thing.. Read thr 'IF' in my statement
Ok I get you. If it hits 40 ,I suspect there will be a massive selloff, one should rather not be caught in the stampede to follow. But If i see 36 to 38 na to go church share testimony.

Between how does Stanbic justify a price of N40 and above. This market no balance.

If Guaranty can turn 32 resistance into support, then the next target would be >> N38.65 -> N40. At this point, all man for himself (in 2face's voice).. N25 >> N28 all conquered.

Invest wisely grin grin grin
You cant be too sure, that 32 can also go down to 28. I plan to take profit in batches.

Lol the lamentations here couple of weeks back, it was so bad people hardly post again. It takes a lot of faith and self believe to invest when the market is down and red. I also had an idea that once the FX market stabilise things will change.

I was accumulating Zenith, accumulating Wapco, accumulating GTB, accumulating UCAP expecting to cash out with dividend by march. See us now in October, Story don dey change. The only prayer wey remain na make Greed no com enter our matter.grin grin
