So whats the current fair value of the Naira, 380 or 450? I think the CBN determined ( though foolishly) to hold the fx rate down till Dangote start pumping fuel.

You just spoke my mind. Infact i dont believe in any FUGAZ, we probably only have UGAZ in Nigeria. First bank is only waiting for one more crisis to go under. This bank is being managed like civil service. One yoruba adage decribes first bank better it says (Oga ta,Oga o ta, Owo alaaru a pe). In English it means wether the boss(Shareholders) sells or doesnt sell,the laborer(Management) will earn his wage.

Someone even posted on Twitter that FBN will sell at N6.50 in 2 weeks time. Where is the liquidity in Nigeria to move it? Is it the foreign investors that dont know where our forex matter is headed that will invest in FBNH? Do you know how many investors have been sucked in by FBNH who are just waiting for any marginal gain to offload? The managers of this company are not serious. Until i see 2 years of better financial performance i cant put my money here.

This company also depicts everything wrong with Nigeria, so much potential but little to show for it. Giant of Nigeria yet getting thrashed by small pikins.

If i were OP, i will discount expected dividend for 2020 by 40%. the 25% seems optimistic.

Kid how old are you? Only a baby will gloat when hard working investors hit a rough patch in a depressed economy. I wish not to meet your type in real life. Let me break it down for you, because right now you have a narrow and myopic perspective.

In the medium term there is no gainer or loser in this devaluation game. Its a lose-lose for both the importer and the buyer. Lets assume you make 30% from the current rise in dollar. In few months time you will exhaust your wares and will buy dollar at N500. By the time your goods arrive in Naija dollar might have dropped to N450. There goes part of your profit.

Secondly,in a depressed economy purchasing power of consumers reduces. So if you have been selling 100units of your product before now,you will sell maybe 50 units. Revenue is bound to drop. So there goes another part of your profit.

Now to the 3rd leg,if you decide not to import anything to protect your profit for some months,you wont record any revenue in those months. You will be trapped. . I know Orile importers who made heavy losses because of Naira appreciaton in 2016. So at the end there is no real winner.

I doff my hat to the fixed income investors here,youve made some margin on your investment. Lets say 10 to 15 percent return. Once you get the principal and capital find other good ways to compound it. Its not a hopeless situation. Ignore this child.

My friend bought Zenithbank at N11 two weeks ago, he advised me to buy some unit but it hasnt gone to that price since that time , please when will it to go down or i should buy it at this N14 price? The Death of Tunde Salawu, Circa:February  14th 2002 ,FMS Building LASU.

One of the dramatic days in LASU, Tunde Salawu the amiable SUG president was butchered to death by suspected axemen after writing his final papers. The whole Lagos was in uproar but only few people knew the true story.

Tunde was a brilliant and handsome student of Bus Admin, until he became the SUG president . A major goal he proclaimed to have was the eradication of cult groups in Lasu. So he began a major war on cultism. I saw suspected axemen being interrogated and burnt alive by Tunde and his Nasfat student supporters. The killings and lynchings of suspected cultists were many and continued unabated. There was an ex student  (a suspected former Aiye member) who came for clearance .He was accosted at the school main gate and beaten to a pulp,i heard he later died in the hospital.

Myself and some wisemen approached Tunde and advised him to stop the killings, surely he that live by the sword will die by the sword. Tunde didnt listen as he had that aura of invincibility. The school authorities also warned him but he wont listen.  Before long news started flying that Tunde's cult war is one sided as the Eiyes were spared in his war. Was he a sympathiser to the SEC or a full blooded member? You be the judge.

Rumors also abound that Tunde would go to pray at the mosque while having all sorts of charms tied on his waist and arm. So clearly Tunde was eating his cake and having it. He was the president of Nasfat during the day and a bonafide patron of the underworld at night.

He escaped different attacks until his final paper. As he left the exam all, different men surrounded him, FMS was a three storey building,he ran and made it to the ground floor. These guys rained bullets on him but it didnt work.So they brought out machetes whose handles were wrapped in red fabrics and butchered him. He was rushed to Lasuth Ikeja but he gave up the ghost on the way. The school went into deep mourning. Exams were suspended. Its been about 18 years but only few remember him.

Lessons:
1. I dont know any of the authors here but whatever youve read as regards the Stupidity of cultism and rugged orientations here is 100% true. Cultism will surely mess up your life thats guaranteed. I witnessed so much bloodshed in Lasu between 1999 and 2005 that i cant exhaust them. Stay away from Cultism.

2. Whatever protection the devil gives you,he will take it back someday when he is done using you. Jazz,muyen etc whatever you call them will fail  someday that also guaranteed. I gave vivid details of the attack on Tunde to buttress the fact that those coming to HIT you might have also gone to the devil to research what will neutralise your power.

3. Please Stay away from bloodshed in any form. Bloods do cry even after many years.

You should keep quiet if youve never witnessed their brutality and frame up. What of those who stopped and were harrassed or framed? I am not saying people should disobey officers but these men should change their ways to get respect.

I am applying for Dropbox for myself and wife. We want to apply as a family. We have filled and submitted the DS 160 For both of us. However we have problem at the appointment schedule page. whenever we try to fill the '"ADD BY NAME"" segment for my wife under my profile the system keeps popping up with Inactive Operative user. My question goes like this?

1. Must my wife open a separate account to schedule appointment or can i add her application to my own for submission so that both are treated together? Is it that family appointment has been cancelled?

2. She has tried registering as a new user to also schedule an appointment but the system keeps saying "'the administrator has been alerted,ensure first and last name tallies with your passport""

3. If online appointment proves difficult can we take our passport and DS 160 confirmation page direct to DHL for submission?
