Sefago, I know about China more than you can ever imagine. Now, assuming that you have a low IQ but you have money (like Nigeria), what do you do? Get people with the high IQ to work for you. Has Nigeria done that? Yes, on many different ocassions. Have things improved? No. Conclusion: It is not a matter of IQ. It is our unworkable system which even frustrates foreigners working amongst us. Do you not see that many of the Nigeria-owned private investments are working relatively well in Nigeria? Do these private Nigerians have higher IQs than the civil servant Nigerians? No. |
SEFAGO:One glaring difference between China and Nigeria is that corrupt people are punished even by hanging. This is not the case in Nigeria. So I dare say that MORAL corruption (for e.g., not meting out the appropriate punishments to culprits) contributes to our worsening financial corruption. It is possible you have a low IQ. Prove me wrong. I do NOT have a low IQ because for the past 6 years, I have attending classes with Europeans, Americans, Chinese, Indians, Latinos and other Africans and I have been at the top 5. Next to these is the idea of putting incompetent people to positions due to tribalism and the stupid quota system. Are those also in China? |
Nope. Its rather inherent greed and selfishness bringing about both financial amd moral corruption. Remove those and Africa is ready to go. |
Federal perm sec: Bayelsa slot still pending as director fails exam Tuesday, November 3, 2009 The new civil service reform, as regards the appointment of federal permanent secretaries, has ensured that each state of the federation is now represented at that cadre in addition to representations on geopolitical zones, except Bayelsa State which has none and currently has only one director in the Federal Civil Service. The Economic Confidential, an online economic magazine, gathered that there was no law or policy that provided that permanent secretaries should be appointed this way, but this had always been adopted by the Federal Government for the purpose of equity and fairness to all sections of the country. In essence, all states where the permanent secretaries were affected by the new tenure policy had been replaced by the persons who came top in the selection process from the same states. The vacancy for Bayelsa State could not be filled because the only director from the state in the service could not meet the set minimum standard for appointment during the recently concluded selection process. As a matter of fact, Economic Confidential learnt that the said director failed the examination and the Federal Government was determined not to compromise standard in appointing officers to this most important office. The Economic Confidential further gathered that efforts were on to fill the slot from among those who might emerge as directors when the Federal Civil Service released the results of the recently held examination for the directorate level officers. |
Who owns the joint? If its SWner run, their dirtiness will simply kill you ![]() |
^^^^^^ BG is in the slammer for 28 years that runs concurrently. So effectively, he stays there for 2.5 years. I hope, again, that he dies there. It will be ridding Nigeria of one bad crooked crook. |
texazzpete:You, the greatest slowpoke of all times, should see a shrink for this ridiculous statement. Period. |
We are saying the same thing. Look for other evidences than the fingerprints. That is all. |
naijaking1:The fingerprint aspect is washed out. So exclude that from the list of evidences. Even FBI will not look at it. How are you going to separate the fingerprints of the CBN staff who counted the money from those of others? They are all on each other. Its like pouring Ogbono soap cooked by Obi to another Ogbono soup cooked by Nneka and mixing. How do you separate them again? |
Literaly and figuratively, both. There is no way you can withdraw, carry, and hand over $15 million in cash to someone without leaving foresnsic evidence all over the place. Even if Ibori did not personally touch the money, it could traced to one of his lackeys at that time. This should be FBI case 101. Why are we so focus on the technicalties of these case rather than the substance of it?Naijaking1, You need to be smarter than this. The money has passed through many hands and has been counted at the CBN, as reported. This implies that on the currencies, there will be hundreds of fingerprints from different people, both guilty and innocent, each masking (I mean defacing) the other. So you have a mass of useless fingerprints that can not tie you to anything. No reasonable court will look at such evidence because it is messed up evidence. This is simple knowledge in forensic science |
Aloy~Emeka:What do you know? It depends on the concentrations and the state of the fake ingredients. For e.g., 10 ppm of reduced lead can kill you instantly. Do you know what the fake soap contains? Do you know if there is lead, arsenite, ricin, etc in there? These are very lethal substances that act at micro amounts. I am talking from experience as an environmental chemist. OK! Plus, the soap will definitely be cheap so each buyer will certainly purchase many at the same time. Do the math. |
citizenY:I have noticed you. Can you now go and commit suicide? |
SouthUnity:Daft indeed, being the name he goes by at the NVS |
$15 million in cash it will certainly be easy to trace the bank notes from production to deposition---- if they want to. If you find Ibori's finger prints, and other associated findings then we would have an answer. Is this fingeprinting matter figurative or literaly? If you mean the later, I wonder how that can be achieved given what has transpired with the money? I reserve further comments until your response |
citizenY:Aboki of namas Not when your incompetent fellow cows have bastardized the country. The map is thus mere paper work. What do I do with your stupid map, anyways? |
citizenY:Stupid almajiri cattle rearer. Can you compare my writing with both yours and becomerich's? |
SouthUnity=Becomerich. Check out the grammar similarity now! ![]() |
I have already predicted that he will die in prison, failing which, he will leave there with a terminal illness and die soon after. He really deserved to be hanged. Chief of thieves |
Tribe has got to do with it because Yoruba people always attribute fake products to Igbos. This is despite the fact that the ''my pikin'' teething powder that killed hundreds was manufactured by Yoruba, plus this very incidence, and, of course, many other unnoticed ones. My point is to emphasize that fake products can be imported by anybody. |
sjeezy8:Quiz is not sports. You do not need a coach to be intelligent. Only 3 were involved. Nnaemeka Nwachukwu, Olatunji Ayoola Olalere and Tolulope Oloruntoba, who incidentally were seated as guests, drew thunderous applause and admiration from everyone that was present at the event. http://allafrica.com/stories/200909081251.html |
Yoruba fake soap importer. Another one down. @AloyEmeka Fake soap is not better than fake drugs. It can cause skin cancer. It can cause internal problems when soap sod/foam is swallowed by minors during bath. It can blind your eyes. It is as good/bad as fake drugs. |
Andre Uweh:Three students represented U.I. in the Zain quiz comptition. Do you know their names |
Becomepoor, U.I. became independent in 1962. Now what is the meaning of independent. I am not about engaging an slowpoke as you in an argument. Ok? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Ibadan |
Andre Uweh:UI got its independence in 1962. The word independence means that it was not on its own at inception. That makes Nsukka no1. Indeed the name ''Universty of Nigeria'' speaks for itself. |
Kobojunkie:Then learn to live with the content as posted or buzz off. |
You do not have to read/comment if the TRUTHFUL content is diametric to your ignorantly entrenched viewpoint. I have a right to post much as you have a right to read. |
I believe many people are ignorant of these basic facts and so I thought it was good to reiterate them 1. Nsukka = first full-fledged (indigenous and autonomous) university in Nigeria, 1960 2. Ibadan = first university college in Nigeria. Was not autonomous but was appended to the university of London, 1948, became indigenous and autonomous in 1962, two years after Nsukka 3. Anambra state university of science and tech (now Enugu state university)= first state university in Nigeria, 1979 4. Imo state university (now Abia state university) = second state university in Nigeria, 1981 |
Both the first National university and the first and second state universities were built in Igboland Sure U.I. was the first university in Nigeria, but it was a university college under the university of London. So it was just an appendage university with no autonomy. Nsukka was the first indigenous and fully autonomous federal university while Anambra state university and Imo state university (now Abia State University) were the first and second state universities. |
What do you expect from Jide Ajani? Is he not a Yoruba again? |
Hahahah! Na their way. Online prophet indeed. They always start the dubious thing and others follow. |
On ''Senator'' Nicholas Ugbane http://www.nassnig.org/senate/member.php?senator=86 |
Lol. These pathetically confused Yoruba people are finished. |
