An average Yoruba in Lagos see Jimi agbaje as candidate of the Igbo . A victory for agbaje in Lagos is a victory for the Igbo. It means we will have not one but few Igbo commissioners in Lagos, it means when I go to a local government headquarter in Lagos I'll be greeted good morning in Igbo but I want my culture to be promoted etc.

In the east, indigenes of Abia are not allowed into Enugu civil service, indigenes of ebonyi are not allowed to work in Anambra.

Go to GRA in the east as a Yoruba man and try to buy a land, more likely they won't sell you one. Someone told me if you open a shop in the east, the chance of Igbo patronising you is zero. When they greet you in Igbo and you respond in English or Yoruba, they simply walk away saying this one is not oyi Igbo.
