Thought only I felt this way. Infact I used to love eebos. My closest friends in camp were igbos and when I first lived alone, my flatmates were igbos. I didn't see us differently, perhaps I was naive. Infact, one of my igbo friends would occasionally make reference to our amala and ewedu and I'd laugh about it. Unknown to me, she was mocking us. I didn't understand this until I joined nairaland. Then I began to see the hate. Naaa, if I have to choose between my people and love, my people must come first o. This is why I always say it anywhere that I hate eebos. Their hypocrisy, greediness and entitlement sense is disgusting to say the least. And when I say I despise these people, the unrealistic ones think I'm being tribalistic. But one pertinent question eebos should really ask themselves is "how did we get here".

A typical eebo person wants to dominate you, take what belongs to you (greediness) and add to theirs without really contributing anything meaningful to your life. Eebos are generally dubious, swindlers and in short "good for nothing". Ok, I take the quoted back. Truth must be told whether it favours you or not, which is, the only admirable trait of this tribe is their physical strength. Other than that they're utterly useless to humanity.

No actually you must have worked for it. But what I'm trying to say is that there's no success story without an element of grace/luck/divine favour attached to it. Some work their ass off with little or nothing to show for it. While others excel without going through hard times, intense prayers and all that.

For example, ask yourself why some artistes and actors seem to blow easily while others who are equally good struggle for relevance.

And yes, I believe grace is selective. Some are born with it, some have to work extra hard to get it through prayers.

Even the very successful Jim Ovia admitted that luck played an important role in his success today.

Are you employed? It doesn't matter that you're a student. As long as you're gainfully employed either by self or others, you have a statutory obligation to pay tax.

However, you must verify the source of the letter. If it's genuine, get an accountant or a qualified tax person to evaluate your tax payable. Also, never make payment to an individual's account.

P.S- you may post details of your income, if any, I'll tell you your total tax payable.
