BREAKING NEWS: Alhaji Sani Musa the contractor who handled the contract for the Card Reader and PVCs on behalf of INEC has been arrested and detained by the DSS over spurious allegation that he is a supporter of General Muhammadu Buhari. The DSS drew that conclusion based on a Facebook update that was provided by Femi Fani- Kayode where the said Alhaji Musa declared his support for Buhari. He has been in detention since yesterday at the DSS headquarters where he is being coerced to release the codes of the card readers to the government. Unfortunately he does not have the codes as the agreement between the supplier, INEC and the Chinese manufacturer of the card readers was that the codes shall be kept secret and be known only to the Chinese until June 2015, before they release the codes to INEC. What is going on is a collaboration between the PDP led Government and the DSS to discredit the electoral process by questioning the credibility of the source of the card readers. Pray how does the political affiliation of the contractor affects the production of the card readers and the election proper? The truth is that the PDP are about to have a bitter taste of defeat and they are busy running from pillar to post to advert their impending doom, using state institutions against an institution of the state! students and staffs of the school to vacate the
school with immediate effect.The annoucement i
know was what the school community were
expecting after the staffs union sent the
management team out of the campus,perhaphs

annoucement is a way of curbing the ongoing
crisis within the citadel rather than the election
excuse.
Now straight to business the graduating
students
currently waiting for their clearance form from
different department of the university i.e
library,sport,bursary,department,faculty,students
affairs and finally internal audit .Let me remind
you
that the clearance form is the gate pass to
collect
Notification Of Result from the ICT department.
Now the implication of this partial decision made
by LASU MGT is that the graduated students
might
not go for the 2015 NYSC batch A that has been
slated for May 5 2015.DO i need to remind you
that notification of result from the school is a
pass
to the camp of NYSC.
Fact gathered from majority of the graduated
students is that they had done library and sport
clearance alone,some had submitted in bursary
unit,and asked to come back after
2weeks.Student
affairs,internal audit and faculty clearance all
last
for atleast a week,summing all to 5weeks.
Even if the school is re opened on the 13th of
April
,the implication is that most/all of us will be
absent at the camp on 5th of May.I need to
remind
the school magement that this piece is a plea on
behalf of the affected young graduates of the
citadel.
I hereby call on over 6,000 affected graduates to
remain alert,prepared,resolute and calm,as this
is
just a warning note.We hereby give the school

Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose’s eldest brother, Segun, has appealed to the governor to stop embarrassing the family.

He said their father was a gentle pastor, who built and sustained a good name for the family, before joining his ancestors.

The elder Fayose spoke with our reporters in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

He said rather than sustain the good name which he inherited, the governor has been embarrassing other Fayoses with the way he insults elders like former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.

Segun, who is a United Kingdom-based accountant, said the family cherished the name it inherited from its late patriarch.

Emphasising that their father died with contentment, the elder Fayose said the family was known in Ekiti for sound character found in every omoluabi.

He described Chief Obasanjo as Ayo Fayose’s benefactor.



Segun said: “It is a pity Nigerians are celebrating criminals. I am angry with Nigerians for electing somebody like Ayodele as governor. My children cannot come to Nigeria because of the terrible situation of our country.

“I don’t have a relationship with any of our leaders because of their criminality and anybody who says I collected money from the opposition should step forward to challenge me. Ekiti and Nigeria are bigger than Fayose’s name and both names should be protected.

“I don’t want anything from anybody, but Ayo should stop insulting and abusing my father’s name. As a result of Fayose’s attitude, many people believe the Fayose family is rude but it is far from the truth.

“I have spoken to him many times, but he refused to listen. Buhari and Obasanjo are old enough to be his father and I don’t know why he should be insulting them.

“I am always sad with the situation of this country. Ayo’s arrogance is one of the reasons I said people should not vote for him prior to the Ekiti governorship election. If all I am saying is not true, my six children should die and I should end up in shame.

“Most of us abroad are not happy with the situation of Nigeria. We are sad. When people call me from Ekiti to complain about Ayo, I tell them to forgive the family. People should not see Ayo as an ambassador of our family.”
