A suspected rapist was mercilessly whipped in front of angry residents for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl in Bayelsa state. It was gathered that the young man lured the child into his bedroom after she begged him for money.

He reportedly asked her to come into his room to get the money and she agreed not knowing that he had ulterior motive. Immediately she entered, he pounced on girl and raped her. The girl complained to her mother, who then raised an alarm within the community.

Two persons have been arrested by the police in Anambra state for allegedly abducting children for alms begging in Onitsha, the commercial city of the state.
The suspects, Friday Edet and Ezekiel Ubong, both from Akwa Ibom state, said they realise not less than N25, 000 daily from the ‘business’.
They confessed to taking advantage of the religious belief of the residents to defraud them. “You know the belief of our people in the blessings associated with giving. In fact, we had realised up to N12, 800 as early as 8 am on the day we were arrested,” they said.
According to the divisional police officer, Fegge, Mr. Rabiu Garba, the suspects, who claimed to be members of a humanitarian group, specialised in parading children with different kinds of ailments and using them for alms begging.
He said they were arrested by officers under his division and are currently awaiting trial at the Onitsha prisons. “The suspects are notorious for using abducted children for alms begging in another location different from their states after inflicting strange ailment that attract public empathy on them,” he said.
The DPO disclosed that six male children with hernia as well as a 3-year old baby girl with cancer of the lips, kidnapped by the suspects, had since been rescued and reunited with their families after being treated for their ailments by the division.
“The little girl was kidnapped at the age of one and half years from Buruku in Benue state, during wake keep ahead of a burial ceremony,” he hinted.
Garba further revealed that he had to monitor the suspects closely for a long period of time, following his suspicion of their actions with the children, before luring them with some cash gifts which led to their arrest, while their accomplices escaped. While cautioning the citizenry to be wary of the kind of people they render assistance to, the DPO confirmed that the suspects admitted they make up to N25, 000 daily through the children.

It is beyond every reasonable doubt that the internet is the mega world that is willing, able and ready to provide income for all Nigerians that are ready to tap from its wealth.

From my research, I have discovered that the reason why so many businesses fail, all comes down to 10 main reasons.
in this article, I will share this reasons with you and give you tips on what you will do differently to succeed.
1 Avoid The Get Rich Quick

Today, the online business world is filled up with ponzy schemes, MLMs, Cryptocurrency investments and hyips that promise Nigerians heavens on earth but leave them poorer than they met them.
What I want you to realize is that if you are promised 30 or 50% returns on your investment, the first thing you should ask is that where will that 30-50% come from?
If somebody will have to lose a trade before you get it, then it is gambling and not sustainable because those that loosed today will win tomorrow.
On the other hand, if it requires newer members to pay older members, then that is a ponzy scheme and also not sustainable. In few month time, there will be 100 old members and maybe 10 new members.
Simple logic will tell you that 10 cannot pay 100 and it will surely crash. My advice is that, if those returns are not coming from the sale of a product, commodity or service, then you are on the verge of losing your hard earned money.
2. Lack Of Commitment

Most Nigerians start something today, in the next few days they will leave it that it is not working. Many Nigerians have bought great ebooks that they never used or implement them halfway and expect money to start flowing in.
if you have such an approach for an online business, then quit for a 9-5 job today.
3. Focus Is The Key

If you must attain a reasonable height online, the focus is the key. You must go a step at a time. There are too many daring things online that you will like to try out. But 1 accomplished task is better than 100 daring task you tried.
Remember Steve Job’s wise saying about focus, “focus is not just saying yes to what you are doing but also saying no to other things that might seem important along the line. The key still remains that you stay super focused on one thing till you make it work.
4. Procrastination

Former petroleum minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, has accused the EFCC of displaying lack of understanding of the constitutional powers of a president in managing funds meant for security and intelligence agencies.

She said this in response to a report that she withdrew $1.3 billion from the account of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

In a statement issued on her behalf by Clem Aguiyi, her media aide, the ex-minister said the anti-graft agency ought to seek clarity about the process for release of funds requested by security/intelligence agencies.

Quoting section 5 of the constitution, Alison-Madueke said all executive powers are vested in the president who may exercise it directly or through the vice-president or ministers.

She argued that as minister of petroleum resources, she was an appointee and delegate of the president.

“On the issue in question, the minister of petroleum resources acted on the basis of the written approvals and directives given by the president, which approvals were given after written requests from the relevant security agencies were made to the president,” she said.

“At such instances, as in fact the article clearly shows, a service chief or intelligence chief, makes a written request/appeal to Mr President outlining whatever urgent and critical security needs of the nation they consider imminently paramount, at any given point in time.

“If such a request received the approval of the president, the president may direct that the requested funds be drawn from a security budget maintained by NNPC, or that the funds be sourced from elsewhere.

“Where the president directs the minister of petroleum resources, in writing, to make the payment from the NNPC, the minister in turn, directs the GMD NNPC in writing to execute the directive of the president. NNPC then wires the funds from one of its major foreign bank accounts, or from the CBN, directly to the stipulated account of the particular branch of the armed services, or intelligence unit, or department, that initiated the request.

It is not within the powers or discretion of any minister to question, flout or disregard the written directives of the president, including that of the incumbent president.”

The former minister maintained that at no time did she interfere with this process.

“It is therefore, impossible and implausible, for any monies under such presidential directives to be diverted during the process, at least from the standpoint of the minister. Any and all amounts approved and directed by Mr. President to be paid, were executed exclusively by NNPC, directly from NNPC’s foreign and or, Central Bank of Nigeria accounts, to the stated recipients,” she said.

“Therefore, let it be very clear, that all funds disbursed by these banking institutions on behalf of NNPC are easily and openly traceable, and the process cannot and should not be utilised for the distortion of facts, vendetta or political mischief.”

A woman identified as Mrs. Asiata Adeyanju, 42, reportedly slumped and died of shock after her son, Muiz, 17, was arrested by Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) operatives at their home in 9, Ajenifuja Street, Ilupeju, Lagos home on Wednesday night.

According to The Nation, FSARS operatives from Ipakodo Division in Ikorodu has been allegedly picking people up in the area in the last two weeks and arrested Muiz when he was about switching on the generator in front of their home.

The operatives said to be in black vests with the inscription “FSARS” allegedly slapped Muiz before dragging him into an unmarked van. A neighbor identified as Emmanuel, a teacher, was said to have been slapped by the operatives when he tried to stop them from taking the boy away.

By the time Muiz’s parents, who were in their room, learnt of his arrest, the operatives had whisked him away with others arrested at various spots. The late Mrs Adeyanju who was hypertensive then ran out with only her wrapper and chased the police van.
Mrs Adeyanju slumped at a spot. and died while she was being rushed to the hospital.
Her husband, Mr. Musendiku Adeyanju, who was said to be observing his evening prayer at the time of the incident, later met with the operatives at Ilupeju Junction, off Adesiyan Street, to secure his son’s release. They released the boy on hearing that his mother was rushed to the hospital following the arrest

It was gathered that the operatives hurriedly left the area when they learnt of Muiz’s mother’s death. None of those arrested was taken to the police station but secured their release at an agreed price.
Describing his encounter with the operatives, Muiz said: “I was pulling the generator’s starter when the policemen grabbed my trousers and asked me to enter the bus. Before I knew what was going on, two of the officers started slapping me. They took me away with some other people I didn’t know. They were moving round the area, picking up people. They wore black shirts with ‘FSARS’ boldly written on them.”


Also speaking the widower, Mr Adeyanju said: “I returned from work around 9pm, after which my wife served my food. After the dinner, I performed ablution to observe the prayers I missed. I was in the middle of the prayers when there was a power outage. My wife instructed Muiz to start the generator in front of the house. The boy was arrested by FSARS when he was about to put on the set. I overheard one of my neighbours, Mr Emmanuel, telling the policemen that the boy lives in the house. I had to break the prayers to attend to the situation. Before I got to the scene, the police van had left the spot. We ran after them but we didn’t see them. I was returning home to take my car and search for the police van when I saw my wife at the street junction, gasping. People around rushed her to a hospital. I joined neighbors in the search for the police van. We met the FSARS officers at a junction in Ilupeju and I explained to them my wife had collapsed because of my son’s arrest. That was when they released the boy to us. We had barely left that scene when I got a call that my wife had died.”

The story of a pastor's wife who mistakenly sent her naked video to her entire church members via their WhatsApp group has taken over Ghanaian news sites, and what's worse is that the explicit videos are circulating online.
Osofo Maame, wife of a famous Ghanaian pastor, sent the video of herself completely naked in a bath to the entire congregation by mistake. To make matters worse, she took the camera so close to her lady parts with her legs wide open so that her most sensitive part was visible in the video.

From the short video, the pastor’s wife can be seen playing with her genitals while foamy water swirled around her. It is believed she might have wanted to send the video to her husband but mistakenly sent it to the church group.

The “bombshell” letter written by former President Olusegun Obasanjo to President Muhammadu Buhari – has been complied into hard copies and are now being sold on the streets for citizens.

A man identified as Seun Ajayi Hicks has been arrested by Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives for allegedly stealing mobile phone in a church.
The man who claimed to be a first timer at the church in Lagos allegedly stole a member’s Samsung Grand Prime phone on Sunday 4th December, 2017 and ran away.
According to reports, the suspect removed the owner’s sim in the evening of the same day and inserted his own as his number was immediately transmitted to the phone’s back up.
The suspect was arrested this morning after weeks of manhunt.
