I saw it ooo... 111m units sold.

Who is buying and who is sell?

Watching in 3D. The market will prove someone to have made a mistake.

grin
If they return tomorrow with the selling pressure I saw today, that will shatter FBNH real bad. People were buying today because of the established support level and I thought the stock was going to reverse for good. I hope this support level holds though, else the people inside the bus will feel some rough gallop....

We keep watching.

Look at how our MM quietly removed his/her 5m units of flourmills bid and quietly offloaded on other bids.

I love this game though.

there is also the likelyhood of a slightly lower retest , but who know really ..
there is no certainty in this biz
but d last 3 weeks , SP has opened lower and closed lower on a weekly basis (pull backs are not created equal)
my concerns are not with d upside , but with where to put a stop loss , umm maybe n2 for example

Let say
Entry 2.47
Stop Loss N2.00
Target : N3.00
Risk -23.5%
Reward +21.46%

This is a very dangerous risk reward play ! #IMO
but wat do i know

I think there was a year Flour Mills made a loss. Doubt they paid any dividend that year. They had foreign currency denominated loan. Devaluation made them to incur losses due to foreign exchange translations.

Valuation of bluechip stocks is hardly based on dividend yield. Growth rate matters more than dividend yield. It is not also a good stock for traders.
That was the year they made billions in foreign exchange loss and you wrote their management off. I remember only Bigjay01 had the guts to buy the stock at ₦12 then and it later moved aboved ₦80.

"Dream is not what you see in sleep. Dream is the thing which doesn't let you sleep" ~ A.P.J Abdul kalam

Do you have a dream? What is your dream like? You need to channel energy into achieving it. We all have dreams. You don't just jump into the market when a broker tells you to. Most people here do serious analysis to determine the buy price and then wait. Check yourself and ask what you have not done right.

I would advise you not to leave NSE. You can still make it. Rejig your strategy. We once had a losing portfolio. Everyone has a story to tell. But the onus is on you to dream and work your dream out.

Pa Emma told us a story about a newspaper vendor who still sells paper but he is a multi millionaire. He invests in stock market. Time your trade. Time your purchases. Patience is key!

If you fall, don't remain there. Stand and move. We were once on the ground.
Bros,

Leave all these turanchi shaa. In this market, most people will only learn when they have made one or two mistakes. Period. We can only sound warnings to help them minimise the loses but they will always take that decision that they will regret, and they will come out stronger once they survive it

I paid my school fees first in 2008 and still during my extra year, paid for more courses during Oando/Conoco saga despite all the red flags. Lost so much. That was when it dawned on me that you have got to have a plan that works and stick to it. Any other thing Na noise!

Meanwhile, if guy man no fall mugu, who would we have sold Diamond and FCMB shares above ₦3.50.

I hope am not sounding cruel and self centred. Na wetin happen to me I dey write down.

We just manage the 8% PAF. I pity those in FCMB I dumped on. I hope there will be a higher high so that they can make profit and take off.

As the Italians will always say; it's not personal, just business.

Make market crash or even NSE fold make we go rest...

....A beg i need more bear to load more good stocks...
Don't take things too serious. Have a plan that works for you and stick to it no matter what you hear people say here, but be very sure that it's a plan that works.

No matter how many times people shout about bear, it will not push Emma to sell his holdings. Very long term works for him and he sticks to it.

Most people are trying to catch fun here.

Man mi, if you see bottom, you will know. What can be better bottom for a Tier 2 bank than 75kobo.

Which bottom you dey find again? Abi you be grave robber(50kobo)?
Chief, I don't pray for the tier 2 banks to get to those prices. The ripple effect will be mad! As in, the state of our economy that will return them to below 75k will leave most dead.

N1 will be fine. grin

My man cash is king ooo....but if the market bottoms out faster , in I go again even if Na during election. Low prices are like North and south pole of two magnets. They easily attract each other!!
The problem is calling a bottom a bottom. Remember "Dead Cat bounce" effect.

Yes oo...and stay will October - November. But election tinz will put fear into people as we approach Q4 2018.
Next year election will really distort things. Am yet to make up my mind on the formula to stick to. I might base my "long term" (my definition of long term no reach 6 months ooo) re-entry on commodity prices rather than period. But at the same time, commodity price might continue to fall longer than necessary.

What's your take on this?

CP,

There's a sharp shooter in UPL releasing bazoka shots at anyone that shows up at N2.09. A very straight shooter.
