RTSC: The oyo empire was beaten black and blue by women from dahomey when they try to pass their boundary.
oyo was great at subjugating fellow Yoruba groups.
It never in its history ever attempted to expand towards Benin.
Even the civilisation, system of government and culture of Benin is far superior to whatever yoruba had to offer.
A fellow Yoruba man did not establish Benin. That is Yoruba fable not Benin history. Rather the fable is coming from you, the title "Oba" will continue to expose your revisionist history until you can spell OBA with benin alphabets. Oyo empire defeated by Dahomey women yet there are so many Yoruba kingdoms in the Republic of Benin today tell us another story. |

PHAYOL81: The reality would set in when the ports are completed. So if the main importer are Ibos, what happens to the other tribes importing? Have you done the percentage to see which region import most? What about the market? Or better still, what goods are the Ibos importing that the Yorubas aren't? And also remind me what goods the Ibos are exporting that the Yorubas aren't? I don't want to drag in the other tribes here but when you leave, the market would still be as big with only little change in the character and the buyers would still be patronising especially that most of our international customers are within west Africa and Lagos stand the advantage of not only being known and trusted but also being in line as the first they come to. Problem can only arise if no Yoruba or other tribe still around is willing to invest in the field the Ibo man left behind. S Majority of them are good at only beer parlour analysis, they can hardly relate to what you are saying |

Bobby4090: My dear, ignorant people like u don't know what makes a city or a region great. Administrative HQ doesn't really matter. What matters is where the operations take place. It's like saying PH and Warri has lost their place in our oil sector just because NNPC head office is in Abuja. Rubbish! Lagos is so independent that it doesn't lean on FG peanuts like other states. As for companies, even if some relocate outside Lagos, does it not interest you that the world biggest single train refinery is being built in Lagos. With a capacity twice that of all your FG refineries combined. This refinery also comes with the biggest petrol chemical complex and biggest fertilizer complex in Africa. Go to Lekki Export Processing Zone and see how the Chinese are turning that place to a new China. Even a new Lekki port is being constructed there to decongest Apapa. Not to mention Eko Atlantic City that is being dubbed the new African Dubai. My brother, if you are waiting for the fall of Lagos u will wait forever. Presently, nearly 70% of the foreign direct investments coming into Nigeria are looking for a place to set in Lagos. Ok? Have a nice day! The Osus and their sympathizers are double faced cowards and as such not interested in what is right or not rather what in their imagination will bring Yoruba land down to them, Yorubas are their problem. They are usually the first to claim Lagos if positive development is discussed and called it Yorubaland if negative development is involved. In the case of Lagos and Yorubaland, it is beyond their imagination for instance, Lagos has been expanding even in land mass courtesy of Eko Atlantic city and other reclamation projects on going and the congestion stuff will be taken care of in due course meanwhile the little red mud land of the Osus is almost gone through erosion and no where to expand to. They hate with passion Asiwaju Bola Tinubu because he transformed Lagos from a slum when IBB left in 1991 to what we have today and his successors are moving it forward. Who God has blessed no Osu can cause. |

Bendeco2020: As your brothers also hate on Biafra matter... I have been in this forum observing everything by myself.
Why don't Igbo's hate on south south tribes? Because they are neutral on biafra matter.
Yorubas invite the hate.. Don't also forget what one of your oba in Lagos treat to do Igbo's if they fail to vote Apc.
You are expecting love back after hating ? The Igbos have been hating on Yorubas for ages, the hatred for them by the Yorubas is novel and just growing, it is at its maturity that you will understand the definition of hate. You cant hate on south south people because of your attache by force attitude. |

We are Republican in nature nobody can Lord it over us... Unlike Tinubu and his Yoruba slaves, if oshomole wants to be Tinubu of Edo good for him. Such doesn't happen in Igboland, we are free borns with a mind of our own and can't be lorded.
Whatever bitterness you have towards Igbos, shove it up your ass. We have bought the whole of lagos and they're crying, we bought Abuja and so many other places very soon we will buy your ancestral home. Do notify the closest igboman next to you when you want to sell your ancestral home to alleviate your poverty. Not only Lagos and Abuja, you also bought US, UK and China, although on Nairaland. You are not republican in nature rather, your ancestors lived like barbarians and passed the baton to you hence why you are not organised which made the whites to appoint warrants chiefs for your ancestors. The only part of Nigeria with objective and independent minded individuals remain Yoruba land. This is the only place where candidates hardly get bloc vote as compared with Osuland where one candidate get 95% and another 5% because of bandwagon effect. Henceforth, stop bragging here that you don't bow for anybody because you are republican in nature rather barbarians by nature |

Throwback: Has anyone noticed that a notorious tribe of ingrates are always supporting back-stabbers, yet they always lament the most about betrayal?
Their most prominent desire in politics is betrayal and ingratitude, which they project in the political affairs of their own region and actively campaign for such in the politics of every other region.
For them, it is a must to always support the treacherous ingrate who was helped, while vilifying the benefactor as a demon who must be destroyed.
This is the same tribe that every governor they have had, have always betrayed the benefactor that got them into office.
Enugu Chimaroke Nnamani vs Jim Nwobodo Sullivan Chime vs Chimaroke Nnamani
Anambra Mbadinuju vs Sir Emeka Offor Peter Obi vs APGA / Ojukwu family Obiano vs Peter Obi
Abia Theodore Oji vs Orji Kalu
A tribe of backstabbers such that no clansman politician manages to get to the top before he is pulled down by his own people.
Azikiwe betrayed Biafra. Ojukwu ran away as a historic coward and returned to support Fulani party. Ojukwu was betrayed by his people and lost Senate in 1983 and Presidency in 2003.
Kanu betrayed his IPOB zombies by calling upon them to come and face a fatal battle with the Nigerian Army who he claimed were attacking him, meanwhile the terrorist had already fled the area with his beloved Mum and Dad. His only regret of his cowardice when he showed up after hiding for over 1yr, was that he was unable to flee with his dog who so perished. While Kanu betrayed his supporters, his dog stood his ground like a man that Kanu wasn't, showing that animals of the zoo have more courage than a life-loving, porn-filming, death-baiting affliction to his own people.
Amaka disappoint the whole world with betrayal and a continuous desire to promote treachery. You are too much |

The reason is simply that "a repeated lie will one day become true" While they make all these claims, Yoruba hardly engage them, these are betrayers who call Yoruba betrayers, very dirty but call Yoruba dirty, practice tribalism to the core but accuse other tribes. Therefore, always clear the doubt of an average Osu man by engaging him or demanding for factual evidence to his claims, he will go mute. |

The Osus are the ones spreading such, for instance, if the premier of north was killed, the premier of west was killed as well as the prime minister and the federal commissioner for finance but both azikiwe and Michael opara (Head of state and premier of eastern region) escaped a coup taken to be revolution, then Osus are the greatest betrayals of all time. |
