PoliticsRe: Lekki-epe Int’l Airport To Commence Operation By 2012. by mensdept: 5:14pm On Aug 09, 2013
agbameta: 1. There is a cler difference between a private project and a government project. Unlike government projects, you have little or no control over private.

2. Repainting old village landing strips is very different from building a world class international airport from scratch.

3. If you feel like comparing direct government projects they are directly responsible for Fashola against GEJ, list their started and completed projects side by side and see how flawed and pathetic you sound and how incompetent and empty GEJ is?

4. I still don't see the silly pride and sense of achievment in a whole oil producing Nation with so much wealth repainting village landing strips instead of building the next generation of airports like many coutries are doing.

5. To make matters worse, your clueles and incompetent president just burdened the people of Nigeria with Billions of Naira in debt from China just to refurbish airports when they really shoud be handing off such infrastructures to the private scetor, but we know it's all about the money, it's all about stealing every penny. How dumb and retarded

Again, if you can not compare Fashola's direct government project with GEJs started and completed projects which doesn't include repainting of village airports, please clear road...
You don't get it do you?

You want to buy a new BMW X5 for $50k for your wife, announce it to the world, and two years later you don't have it. Your wife then begin talk say wetin hapon, because you showed her the account and the balance then.

Now you tell her that "See O, I be bank manager?".

If you can reason then let me post this from a more intelligent grown up.

doctokwus: Its annoying wen pple want to use different standards 2measure performance. We criticise GEJ wen he has project failings, yet some pple wud defend Fashola wen its glaring he has failed too.
D defenders of some lasg failed projects& his recent 3am deportation must realise dis unnecessary and myopic defence is not doing d man any favors.Of recent his rating has plummeted even in d eyes of we neutrals who thought he was d best 2015 cud offer;its a shame dan 2yrs to d day,he is rather being seen as an overhyped, tribalistic governor.I just wish Fashola wud make a u turn, policies wise, free himself from d claws of his ethnocentric, all grabbing godfather, and maybe, just maybe regain some bit of his goodwill;he definitely has some ideas.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Will Participate In 2013 Pilgrimage To Israel – Okpara by mensdept: 5:03pm On Aug 09, 2013
Pataki: When Yar'adua was President, he declared his assets. Why is GEJ not doing likewise?

When Yar'adua was President, he reduced the price of fuel. Why is GEJ not doing likewise?

Answer my question logically if you can. I might thereafter be obliged to respond to your question.
Before Yar' Adua became president he was already a very sick man, and decided to go and remain president.

When Yar' Adua was president, he escaped his country and fled to another man's country without informing those who he was supposed to be protecting and serving, carrying with him state funds to dash an Arab doctor when teachers and police were not being paid their salary.

For over 50 days, Nigeria did not have a president and Nigeria was during that time labeled by the serious nations of the world as a Terrorist state.

Then, under darkness, low and behold, the man that left the country returned dead, and we have all swept it under the carpet and carry dey go.

Now, as for all these pilgrims, they need to take a pilgrimage to the Niger Delta and see how kids are starving, land is polluted, and infrastructure no dey, despite producing the bread and butter for the country, and despite producing governors, some of whom (IBORI and ALAMS), were bigger rogues than Abacha.

PoliticsRe: Debt Profile Of Nigerian States. party-by-party Basis. by mensdept: 4:52pm On Aug 09, 2013
PapaBrowne: From the table, I noticed another interesting fact that is not party related.

The states with the highest debt profile: Lagos($611m) Cross Rivers($113m) and Ogun($102m) happen to be the states recieving by far the highest amount of Foreign Investments and funnily in order of thier debt.

It might actually show that debt is a very good thing if utilized properly. The best countries in the world used debt to grow their economies. The biggest companies in the world use debt to grow their businesses.

Lagos recieves investments in Real Estate, Hotels, Manufacturing etc. Cross River has attracted over $2billion in the past one year alone. GE is opening a plant. Ebony Life TV Launched in Calabar. Wilmar is investing heavily in oil palm and the list goes on. Ogun state has just gotten Procter and Gamble with investments of $250 million aznd so on and so fault.

Debt is good as it hastens development when utilized properly.
Those countries used more than just debt. They tended to live by the rule of law, develop their roads and schools, invade and conquer people like those in this country, spread their language and way of life in a domineering manor, promote their hospitals instead of running abroad, contrary to our folks who instead are being complacent and copying the jokes of other people's culture (aka Denrele, Adeboye) without doing their homework. Debt is Nigeria is a result of rogues in power that drew fake boundaries and called them states like those mentioned in this thread, so that we can forever be enslaved. I know the pastors must also be happy or the debt so they can continue to deceive the fools of the country

haba!!!! EKO O NI BAJE Ogrin grin grin
The question that I'll ask you is this:

Has money from the US $450 million FIRST PHASE been given from 2011? If the answer is yes, then we know who the rogues truly are, irrespective of region

PoliticsRe: Goodluck Jonathan Wishes All Muslims Barka Da Sallah by mensdept: 4:25pm On Aug 08, 2013
GEJ of course has to be diplomatic. Otherwise, he should have added that let this Holy period for muslims enable them to strive to develop their states similar to what those who brought them the faith in Arabia have done, to also strive to reflect whether marrying minors, which has been banned by those who have been practicing the faith thousands of years prior, is a good thing, and to stop being violent and illiterate and seek to be important for once.
PoliticsRe: Soludo's Manifesto For Anambra by mensdept: 4:09pm On Aug 08, 2013
This manifesto is well put together and expectations would be high if Soludo gets the people's vote to govern based on his credentials and experience.

Funny enough that for the last 14 years or so, all the state governors in Nigeria, particularly the East, have basically wasted all those years and billions in state allocations with nothing to show for it. And yet, fools are celebrating them (Ibori bday) and happy to go to Winners and the likes
Christianity EtcRe: 'Wombless' Woman Gives Birth To A Baby by mensdept: 4:04pm On Aug 08, 2013
Hopefully when they return back to NIGERIA they can advocate for their "flock" the need to improve their own hospitals and healthcare since all of them cannot run to AMERIKA to give birth.
PoliticsRe: The Unity And Oneness Of The Old Eastern Region by mensdept: 1:49am On Aug 06, 2013
The regional setup favored the people in Nigeria. Even the current governor of Bayelsa has already said he cannot manage/afford to manage his state.

Anyone talking otherwise is either aware they or those in their village are useless and want everyone to feel that way, or are fearful of seeing real progress.

Orji Kalu and the thief Ibori who folks are celebrating his birthday, can never rule in the former regional setup.

Btruth: How is he a disappointment? For chosen another party that he deem fit to lead this country to the promise land? Why is it that we Nigerian don't want to learn? Sentiments apart, is it not time that we started to decide our own fate than be a followers to some bunch of slowpoke, that did not even know where they are coming from, talk less of where they are heading to. I think, it will be better for us all if we should let everybody decides their right by choice through their votes.

Despite the very promising gist of Soludo becoming APGA candidate in Anambra, where is APGA heading to regionally and nationally? The Chairman of the party has been "ruling" for nearly a decade now? Is that Ndigbo way of leadership?
PoliticsRe: Soludo/Akunyili 2013 - Anambra Is Ready To Overtake Dubai by mensdept: 4:46am On Aug 01, 2013
proO1: Akunyili is too 'big' to be deputy governor. Besides, she is also too strong-willed and assertive to be an effective deputy governor that would work in peace with a man like Soludo who apparently has a strong, assertive personality. Bottomline, this ticket wouldn't fly.
No one is too big to be deputy governor or deputy anything. I like the lady, but she poops the same way as everyone else.
Moreover, Anambra cannot overtake Dubai by mouth, as it will need regional cooperation to even operate on a global level, and unfortunately with fools like Theo Orji and 80 year old Elechi protecting rogues in their states, e go hard.

Thus, there needs to be change in all the states in the East and Delta
PoliticsRe: Soludo/Akunyili 2013 - Anambra Is Ready To Overtake Dubai by mensdept: 4:43am On Aug 01, 2013
BabaAlabi: I have lost all hope when it comes to Igbos and election...either they vote wrongly or align with the wrong people. It's only in Igbo states that you will see under performing governors yet the people are still happy and praising the governor. Not all igbos are clueless but the stupid ones outnumber the wise ones. As for the Soludo/Akunyili ticket, it would go a long way to help Anambra out of the pit of poverty but trust the Igbos to mess everything up.
But, what are the duties and responsibilities of a Minister of State huh huh

We already have a Minister for Health (at the federal level right?)
Minister of State is also at the federal level right?
So huh huh huh Why do we have two people obviously doing the same thing at the same Federal level??

Anybody in the house can educate me please!
This is because the entire structure of our government is messed up. They want to put someone from all the states in ministerial positions by force, states that were created, not by the people, but illegal military THUGS. There's no reason to have this, and frankly, no reason to even have all these useless states in the first place.

As for the resignation, even though I dont blame the minister, it just shows once again, that being a Nigerian at the end of the current day and age, is becoming useless. People are lining up to go abroad to give birth for American Pali, for medical checkup (like David Mark our military "Senate President"wink, and on and on.

I think its too early to say who's the best after just what, 6 months?

I think they are both worthy of starting for the Super Eagles, and if we get to the final round of CAF qualifiers for Brazil 14, then I'd assume we'll see them in bigger and tougher matches.
PoliticsRe: No Security Or Infrastructure Yet Our Preoccupation Is Gay & Child Marriage ???? by mensdept: 2:27am On Jul 25, 2013
The gay marriage is an issue involving local gay support groups and international groups hellbent on challenging longstanding cultural norms in 3rd world countries. There has not been much support from anyone (particularly public figures) for that.

However, child marriage, backed by Moslems abi muslims primarily from the Sharialand states, brought again into focus, the role of religion in our society, as well as the regional lopsidedness the North continues to enjoy at the center, therefore causing many people ( including public figures) to engage in the debate. It has also exposed the fact that our legislooters are also rogues like the NGF members that were displaying on Youtube.

So frankly, the latter bill, is at the center of all the problems we have in the country.

First of all, how is Tour de Delta an expression of the people and culture of Delta State? Name change suggested.

Second point, dont you guys think a more reasonable thing to copy is "Say no to Tribalism" at our NPL matches, and in fact, throughout the country by the youth. Say no to Terrorism, Tribalism, Cultism, and to Road side Pastors who are looking to make money.

As expected, there's no Lagos Senator in the list because we present the best.

Ngige is particularly disturbing because I recall be made a declaration when he was Senator-Elect that he will go there to make a difference. Maybe he meant in his fortunes
Why people felt this coup plotter, yes, coup plotter was going to do anything were dreaming. He joined in rigging the entire election in his state, from state assembly up to governor, which sent thieves and criminals to Abuja and Awka for YEARS.

Then the local hungry fools accepted his "victory" over Dora (because who wants that "trouble maker" there to challenge child marriage) and you see he is and will always be a rogue.

Bro, don't mind these Biafrans. If Biafra won the war, the People of the SS would have become slaves while the Igbos siphon our Land dry. During the War, the Biafrans killed so many people from the SS.
For a fact you are not even from the South South, and possibly, from the West or Zamfara. I'm glad Obasanjo felt the need to level villages in Odi during his CIVILIAN Rule.

I'm glad Ken Sawa Sawa was hung along with Ogoni chiefs by ABACHA during his rule.

I'm glad ENGLAND has jailed IBORI in their country from stealing money meant for Niger Delta boys

I'm glad ABIOLA was never allowed to buy everyone and rule the country, and was killed by the military junta lead by IBB

I'm glad that the Niger Delta boys are kidnapping Filipinos, tying mask and speeding on quack boats in attempt to fight against the status quo that has polluted their land in futile success.

I'm glad that there are no world class hospitals, schools, malls, airports, highways, stadiums, health centers in the Niger-Delta for all their support for Gowon and co.

In other words, you are not from the South South, because if you were, you'll know that the best thing for the folks of the former Eastern Region (and Delta) was to rid themselves of NIGERIA and not the Igbo.

chinedum45: how do u mean;he had no alternative? Alternative to What? He threw himself to APC....Disregarding the respect he deserved as a governor who should be BEGGED with many visits.....cheap political slut
Apga could have been a force to reckon with, but when the chairman wants to remain there for life, when Peter Obi is building mall in Abuja and buying cars for the police, and not serious about the party, then wetin Okorocha go do? Chime is too sick to seriously become anything bigger than what he is (unfortunately), Theo Orji and Martin Elechi are just answering governor to protect the godfathers of their states, Amaechi is about to get booted out, Dickson says he cant manage Bayelsa, Uduaghan is doing boy boy with 2face, and frankly, the East is politically weak.

So, joining the People Deceive People party that votes for child "entrance" wont make sense, and the alliance with Tinubu was for now, the only real choice for him.

Just when the time comes, Tinubu will find a way to quarrel with him and then the Igbo will again be on the sidelines unless they get rid of the fools leading them.
