PoliticsRe: By Nominating Buhari APC Misreads Today's Nigerian by mensdept: 9:31pm On Dec 21, 2014
The truth is you could make the argument that 1964 was better than 2014 in regards to corruption, unity, purpose, etc.

The truth is Buhari is carrying out the script. The powers that be do not want true opposition to the status quo, because they are milking this former (and current) British colony dry of its resources.

Thus, you put a "credible" candidate each time to hijack the leading/or a leading opposition party, the person loses, and for the next 4 years stays idol to repeat the process.

That's the game plan folks, and for all the useless SAI Buhari idiots that pop up here every fours years, you can SAI Bulls.hit as well
Christianity EtcRe: Pastors That Are Poor Were Not Called By God- Uma Ukpai by mensdept: 9:27pm On Dec 21, 2014
No wonder why in other countries, when the revolution came, they not only killed all the politicians and crooks, they also went after the religious establishment. In Nigeria, there are more churches than there are factories. Every corner there is pastor, even "SENIOR" pastor.

Is this not crazy?

Yet, no progress in the country

Of course they can't dabble in politics because they are not concerned with a real revolution. Are they not benefiting from the status quo and prestige folks are giving them? With all the poverty and corruption you'll think they would organize their "flock" to engage in nation building.

but HE.LLLLLLLLLLL NO

Why rock the boat

Sentiments aside, I see APC with better presidential candidate
How so?

Don't you guys reason at all?

The truth is bitter, and that is, Buhari is simply carrying out the script. He will be the so-called "Opposition candidate" and "lose", thus ensuring the status quo for the powers that be to continue milking this colony of her majesty dry.

And what exactly do you plan on doing? Is it begging Queen Elizabeth for arms to fight farmers and hunters, who naturally are in that state, smarter, clever, and more able than you?

Look at the muslim area's of Nigeria, who Gowon and Dajuma fought for? Is it that silly international airport in Dutse that is world class? What of hospitals, highways, civi centers, theaters, universities, garbage control facilities, are there any that's world class.

Instead you have rogues jumping over fences at Nat'l Assembly complex, others decamping left and right, and others building personal palaces in Sokoto.

PoliticsRe: 7 Reasons Why General Muhammad Buhari Will Lose 2015 Elections. by mensdept: 7:24am On Nov 28, 2014
Jaydee009:
I believe GMB is a good man. If given the chance, he will begin the process of leading Nigeria out of the woods. However, here are some factors that will stop the General come 2015.
1. Nigeria and Nigerians are not truly ready for change, they prefer the status quo, because many of them are benefitting immensely from the many loopholes of the system.
2. Southerners don't like Buhari cos they believe he is an Islamic extremist/fundamentalist. This will make it difficult to win down south, just like in previous elections.
3. All the powerful people who have looted and ruined Nigeria are in PDP. They obviously want to enjoy their loot in peace without the interference of a no-nonsense Buhari.
4. A lot of people believe Buhari should step down and support a younger candidate who understands today's issues in Nigeria and not act like a desperate "old man" bent on seizing power by all means. Etc
5. PDP and their stomach infrastructure policy will see voters selling their votes to the highest bidder (PDP of course).
6. Nobody is yet to master the art of systematic rigging like PDP. They are masters of the game!
7. Buhari's poor past records especially in the area of human rights abuses as military head of state will haunt him
I don't think many Nigerians are benefitting from this British Creation, but are too cowardly to do anything about it. If we were to think outside the box, then Buhari would not even be in our thoughts, because we don't need an old army guy from 1983 to come in 2015 to be president.

Buhari has ran for office the last what, 3 times, as the main opposition. Does that not tell you something?

If we want real change , then don't vote PDP or APC, vote for someone like Utomi. If not, then organize yourself and lets have a revolution against these idiots, the mall ams, and the private jet owning pastors, ridding ourselves for good, nonsense.

Who's down?
PoliticsRe: Kebbi Assembly Impeaches Speaker At 10: 25pm by mensdept: 7:15am On Nov 28, 2014
This is why we need to abolish state assemblies. First of all, how can 15 or 17 members call themselves "state assembly". Number 2, what do they do, or what have they done? Impeachment left, right center.

Where is the revolution?
FamilyRe: Marriages Then Vs Marriages Now by mensdept: 7:12am On Nov 28, 2014
See how people are even running their mouth. The truth is society is getting worse worldwide, and this societies that believe in their culture, as opposed to dependence on borrowed culture, marriage is still meaningful and successful.

Look at Nigeria. Were there bad and abusive marriages back then? Yes of course. Was there corruption back then? Yes of course. But compare it to now?

In America, it was a shame to beg and take handouts in the 1960s. Now, nearly 2/3 of society take one form of handouts and are not ashamed.

Look at television as well. Shows that could not air back then like Maury, are now status quo, yet no alarm anywhere.

Could Orji Kalu be governor of Abia state or any region say 1965? Heck no, but today, it's easy.

So, modern times have witnessed many women getting away with absolute crazy behavior, and men not activity like men, and in fact corrupted, so of course, the trend for high divorce

PoliticsRe: Millionaire Chinese Businessman Rebuilds His Village-for Free by mensdept: 3:41pm On Nov 27, 2014
Everyone else except the african cares about nation building, and are ready to even die for the benefit of their society. Its happened in Europe, Asia, the Americas, but for Nigeria, only how to copy American pastors (Redeemed), american music shows (Project Fame) and other bull.shit, then ask for Buhari to come back for President 30+ years later.

People are praising Orji Kalu because he's on Forbes list, but are stupid or even cowardly to admit he did it through funds meant for the now dumb and dumber Abia farmers, villagers, students, etc.

What of Gbenga Daniel, who's tenure was one of the worse in Africa history as "Governor".

See today what David Mark as Senate President has done? Fly in and out of the country for medical checkup, whereas, they, year after year, cannot even draft or create a world class center anywhere in the country.

But who were the girls? Who saw them? How did they escape?
I believe there's a lot truth concerning Abacha's death that's being hidden from the Nigerian people.
Was he eliminated by some powerful Northern cabal?
Why is Abacha's death bothering you for years as if he is JFK?
Have you thought of ways to make your community or state move forward, or are you still bullish.ting around?

SportsRe: Three Players Keshi Should Drop For South Africa Clash by mensdept: 3:29am On Nov 20, 2014
After today we need to drop and in fact retire some players from SE.

Uche, Onazi, Obi, Oshaniwa, etc, its time for them to go.

People fell Uche coming back was good, but of course, he is still the same player that he has been over the last couple of years, and against quack teams, will look okay, but generally, not too good.

No more dropping and then bringing back average and below average players
SportsRe: Nigerian Fans Are To Blame For Today's Draw To South Africa by mensdept: 3:21am On Nov 20, 2014
thegoodjoehunt3:
It has come to the blaming season. Coach Keshi is the scape goat. However, the truth must be told. Since Coach Keshi took the job as the Super Eagles coach, I liked the fact he em,braced competition. We saw him drop someone of the calibre of Osaze, Uche, Yobo, Taiwo, etc. Before or during the Nations Cup. Nigerians, from the stands, to the members of the NFF, to ex-Super Eagles players, criticised and fought his decisions.
Coach Keshi was right creating a dynamic team. A team that changes are seen and always filled with hungry players which have a lot to prove.
Many criticizing Coach Keshi should criticize themselves. Did they embrace change? Today, Aluko and Aaron Samuel deserved to start. They had been the instrument of change in the team. However, the Coach did not start them. Why criticize him now when he was criticized for doing that all the way.
I watched the Nigeria vs Sudan match at Abuja and saw fans holding Placards asking for Ikechukwu Uche. The fans did not want Aluko who was on the bench. No, they wanted Uche.
So criticizing Coach Keshi today might fly. He refused to start Aluko and Aaron Samuel. The question these fans, ex-Players and NFF members should ask themselves is, What were their reactions when Coach Keshi invited these players and tried to make a change.
These are the main culprits of our failure today.

Finally, the fans in Uyo were shameful. Our team was down 2-0 against South Africa and the Uyo fans booed them. These players needed the fans to get behind them, believe and cheer them to victory. Instead, the players had to battle with a twelve man South African team. With the Uyo fans being the twelfth man. Disgraceful.
http://passionforgoals..com/2014/11/nigerian-fans-are-to-blame-for-todays.html
Yes, the fans have every right to boo the poor performance. Yet, ironically, as you stated in your opening, the fans are largely to blame. I don't know why Uche was brought back. Ww are a country that has been so militarized/colonized that we celebrate jokes and rogues. You see how many people want an old general from 1983 to lead us next year? Not to talk of bringing back Yobo, Amodu as coach, etc.

Too bad

Some people are born critics. They can never see anything good even if Jesus happens 2 be imo state governor. These set of people are myopic and have nothing to offer to humanity. The best is to observe them from their contributions and then ignore them as engaging them in discusion is belittling oneself. However Enugu, Owerri,Umuahia remains the classic towns in igboland.Aba, Onitsha,Nnewi, and Orlu the economic hurbs, Abakaliki,Awka,Asaba,Okigwe, etc are joining the league,so Igboland got it.

PoliticsRe: United State Of America Is The Evil Behind All This. by mensdept: 4:28pm On Nov 09, 2014
America is light years ahead of Nigeria. Yes, you have folks doing tattoos and sex parties, but you have people building finest structures, inventing useless things, good roads, schools, research institutes, professional police/army, involved electorate, etc. Americans are ready to die for what they believe, unlike our OWAMBE people who have not yet figured out how to rid useless leaders from their government, and would rather go to Adeboye for prayer
