Car Talk / Why Does My Toyota Camry 2005 Make A Screeching Noise by mentorandfriend(m): 10:32pm On Jan 08, 2022 |
Good evening car gurus. Please why does my Toyota Camry 2005 make a sharp, screeching noise whenever I'm doing a U-Turn or negotiating a sharp bend? My mechanic thinks it's a shaft problem and I have changed it but the I still hear the noise. Plus my steering is stiff sometimes, except when I'm accelerating. Could steering pump issue give that screeching noise? |

Lenny22: Good morning. Hyperpigmentation from shaving bumps/pseudofoliculitis barbae/ingrown hair is a common problem among blacks due to our curly tough hair. It is very much treatable. -Stop shaving with shaving sticks. They cut too low to the skin and encourage ingrown hair. -Learn to shave your own beard and neck by yourself with a personal clipper. You'll be more kind and gentle to yourself than overzealous barbers who scrape the neck vigorously while giving you major abrasions that heal with keratosis. -Stop using alcohol based aftershave. They worsen hyperpigmentation. -Use chemical exfoliants on your neck and face. I prefer 10% glycolic acid. Use twice a week and wash off in the morning. They break down dead skin cells and reveal a younger skin underneath. -Make Vitamin C serum your friend. Apply every day before going out. It protects against sunburn while accelerating rate of new skin formation if you're using a chemical peel like glycolic acid. -Stop washing your face with sponge. Use your palms to wash your face for at least 60 seconds, with a rich lather. Wash off your face, then bathe your body. -If you need a good soap to use, I often recommend the papaya extract soap. It contains naturally occurring chemical peels from the papaya fruit. -If you can't afford neither of glycolic acid, vitamin C serum, nor papaya extract soap, then focus on your neck with this product below. It stops bumps and gives you a smooth neck, jaw and face in one month. Use daily for two weeks, then twice a week going forward for maintenance. 4 Likes 1 Share

21 years old car for N1,000,000. Nigeria is not a real place tbh. So a middle income earner on say, N75,000 has to save for two to three years, factor in black tax from relatives, rent and feeding money just to afford a Naija used car that is 21 years old? I seriously feel sorry for Nigerians living in Nigeria and earning in Naira. It's a triple tragedy. 3 Likes |

Food / Re: I'm Frustrated! This Egwusi Soup That I Prepared Quarrels With Water. Help! by mentorandfriend(m): 6:34am On Jun 26, 2018 |
Use less water. In fact, use only the meat water. Secondly, when you fry your red oil for like a minute and add your Egusi to the pot on fire containing the red oil, stir the mixture for at least 15 seconds before adding meat water. Keep stirring, and adding meat water till you get the desired paste. Never leave the kitchen. Close the pot to allow boiling, open every 2 minutes and add extra meat water to get the texture you want. Egusi easily burns from the bottom of the pot when cooking is not supervised properly. Finally, you can add some pinch of Achi. It's a soup powder. We call it Achi in Igbo. Ask for it in the market where you bought your grounded Egusi. Enjoy. 1 Like |

igbodefender: Igbo presidency is a grandiose delusion. Go tell those who paid you to peddle this rubbish so as to try and get some SE votes that it won't sell here. Even illiterate old women in the village know that this is an old wives fable. As if APC has ever kept any of their promise in their life. Keep calm and enjoy your paycheck in peace but we ain't buying that shit. ✌ 2 Likes |
