I WANT TO LEARN CINEMA4D Hello great 3D Animation gurus, I am a video editor with vast knowledge on using applications like Phtotoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premeire. Now I will like to add 3D Animation to my knowledge. I know 3D Animation is a very wide field, but I am more concerned about the area where I can make simple cartoon animation like that of GOTV adverts, or other commercial adverts with 3D Animation. I don't need a formal computer school, I don't need much theories...I need a practical one-on-one training, kindly tell me where you are based and your price. I am seriously driven by the passion to learn it, please the only way you can kill this passion is by chasing me away with high prices, I can also be of help to you directly or indirectly as I have knowledge in multimedia field generally. Kindly make it affordable. Thanks. |

My article "Education beyond certificate" [https://www.nairaland.com/2765442/education-beyond-certificate] was posted on the frontpage today, and a particular guy challenged the area where I said "Most school dropouts make world's richest". I couldn't reply him on what I actually meant, but someone replied on my behalf in a very inspiring way, which I think it's worth sharing. Here is their conversation: Horayce:REPLY emmanuelewumi:What do you learn from this conversation? |
emmanuelewumi:This is the BEST reply I've gotten in the few days. WISDOM is your name. |
ModiKen:Not many people understand this simple phylosophy. Thanks for your encouraging words. |
YesIam:I have just two words for you brother, KEEP GOING. Many successful today have always tasted failure, frustration amidst other tribulations, but rather than vest their fraustrations into getting engagd in something negative, they never gave up, they kept going. That is what makes them HEROS. The day I read about Seun Osewa's biography, I reached a conclusion that no one is bound to fail but succeed. As regard your quest you can read up this article I created some time ago https://www.nairaland.com/2658153/beauty-problems |
saintneo:You are blessed for this post. You said it all! |
jessetom:Short-sighted in what sense please? I am always ready to learn from constructive criticism. |
YesIam:I understand the irony in your post bros, but sincerely speaking, have you tried learning any skills? |
EDUCATION BEYOND CERTIFICATE:::: It is hightime we gave another definition to the term "education". To some people, education borders on going to school, acquiring degrees and working for a company to earn a salary at the end of the month. My dear readers, education goes beyond acquiring certificate, "we must redefine education".... Education teaches you about how to make rules, break rules, and challenge an ongoing trend, school teaches you about how to follow rules, live by the rules, and live an ongoing trend unchallenged, thereby limiting that power of creativity in you. Have you witnessed a scenerio whereby you asked a Maths lecturer about how he arrived at a certain formula, and he tells you "that is how it is done"?, and mind you, if you do anything contrary...you FAIL his exam, therefore you must follow the rules. A truly educated man is he who has developed the faculties of his mind to follow his passion, find solutions where there are problems without following the rules, but creates his own ways through his deep imagination to achieve his dreams. Checkout most of the world's richest people today, they are mostly school dropouts. Do you think they are not educated because they are school dropouts? Far from it! They are really educated in their own ways, they simply decided to build their own dreams rather than allow themselves to be hired by other people to builld theirs. So many people spend their precious years in school only to end up acquiring cerificate NOT education. Examples of these people include: 1) * People who don't practise what they learn in school before graduation. As a student of Computer Science, how many codes have you written that worked? Have you been able to (in reality) write a program that solves the problem of an organisation? As a student of Business Administration, how many businesses have you started? How many times have you exprienced failiure in business, and rise again? So, are you putting what you are learning in school into practice? The school will not give or teach you these orientation but education will. 2)*People who have no SKILLS...successful people don't depend on the government of their country to provide jobs for them. A truly educated person has skills, an uneducated fellow can only boast of his certificate without any skills to back it up. True education lies in the abilty to solve problems with the skills you possess.....what are you waiting for? STAND UP NOW, do not procrastinate, learn a skill you are passionate about. What am I advocating? This writeup is not in anyway articulated to undermine the importance of schooling...Going to school is very important but our mindset about school is what we are advised to change. TRUE EDUCATION PREPARES YOU TO SURVIVE WITHOUT YOUR CERTIFICATE. *WHEN THINGS GO WRONG; CHANGE THE PLAN NOT THE GOAL* Reading this piece alone shows that you have a goal in life, because only someone who really has a goal will be interested in reading anything that has to do with GOAL. So read on! I am a passionate fan of the adage that says "man proposes, God disposes". Many motivational books have been written on the importance of planning to success in life, but it is not that most of us do not have plans, but the issue is that things just don't always go as planned sometimes. As a fervent lover of the ENTREPRENEURSHIP "gospel", I will like to channel this article to that line. It is your goal to create businesses, employ people, change lives, have a foundational institution in your name that gives to the charity homes. In order to achieve the set goals, you make a life plan, and due to circumstances, the plan fails. Don't quit, don't give up, don't change the goal, just change the plan. What have you set out to achieve in life (goal) that you decided to change or give up simply because things didn't go as planned? All you need to do is to change the plan, not the goal. The plan "B" factor is all we need in ensuring we achieve our goals...just have an alternative plan always. “It is not the strongest of the species that survive, not the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” Charles Darwin So whatever our goals may be, let's create a flexible plan that can easily adapt to changes in case things go wrong....change the plan not the goal. @hawlahethan I agree with you to some extent, but if you go through the write up again you will see that it does not only talk about having a passion or following one's passion, but it lay more emphasy on the fact that even most people who have one passion or one dream or the other don't always summon courage to achieve them, but they mostly porcrastinate thinking that there is till time. Though life can be confusing as you rightly said when things don't go as planned, BUT we should also know that life is not a bed of roses...we are bound to meet challenges and obstacles along the line but a determined and perseverent mind will surely get to the promised land. |
@Ogaofficer, we must never throw away our tomorrow, but the right time to act is now, not tommorow. |

The ACTORS of tomorrow There is this inner force that keeps stopping us from achieving what we are set to accomplish in life. Many people today would have actualise their dreams and rule their world to a great and enviable extent if not for this inner force that remains their obstacle. This inner force is what I term "tomorrow". Tomorrow is the word often used by the people who are not ready to act on their dreams, I also call it procrastination. Have you ever imagined when you see a signboard in a shop on which it is written "no credit today, come tomorrow"? Do you know what this ironically means? The shop owner knows that tomorrow will never come. Reflecting this on our lives as people generally, there are many beautiful ideas on our mind, there is this VISION in our imagination begging for action everyday but most of us are actors of tomorrow, not actors of today. Each time this door of opportuntiy is standing before us waiting to be opened, the actor of tommorow says "I will do it tommorow", when great possibilites opens arm to embrace them, the actors of tommorrow say "let's put it till tomorrow". Unfortunately, until it comes to a day, that day that the opportunity will be gone and the actors of tommorrow will turn back to blame their friends, the government of their country, their parents...and the blaming continues just because they never acted at the right time. The actors of tomorrow would have been celebrated by the world like Folorunsho Alakija, they would have set records like Usain Bolt, achieve their dreams like Mikel Obi, inspire the world like Professor Wole Soyinka, rule their own world like Aliko Dangote, and been role models to their generation like Seun Osewa of Nairaland among others. However, procrastination has been the only inner force controlling most people. The people above did not just achieve their height by "miracle", but they refused to say "tomorrow", they acted towards their dreams everyday of their lives. Winning the war against procrastination requires only one weapon known as ACTION, my dear brothers and sisters, by now you should be taking a decision, starting a project, making a move, seizing opportunities and fulfilling your dreams BUT you must act NOW! According to Micheal E. Angier -"Ideas are worthless. Intentions have no power. Plans are nothing......unless they are followed with action. Do it now!" If your dream is to become a writer, start writing, if your dream is to become a musician, start singing, if it is your passion to become an entrepreneur start creating, start taking the risk, start following your passion. JUST START ACTING. Be an actor of today, not an actor of tomorrow I look forward to seeing you at the top. As written by Genius (menzo4u) #iWRITE2INSPIRE |
