A typical example is the pics below....

An earthquake effect...the stones were built in a 3D software, then now imported into After effect to create the effect you see here....

In the second pics, the same approach was used.

Hello great 3D Animation gurus, I am a video editor with vast knowledge on using applications like Phtotoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premeire. Now I will like to add 3D Animation to my knowledge.

I know 3D Animation is a very wide field but I am more interested and concerened about the area where I can make some materials in a 3D Software and then import it in to Adobe After Effect to create visual effect

For example, to make a bomb-like material in a 3D software then import it into a movie scene for explosion. You know that kind of stone shattering effect? Good!

I don't need a formal computer school, I don't need much theories...I need a practical one-on-one training, kindly tell me where you are based and your price.

I am seriously driven by the passion to learn it, please the only way you can kill it is by chasing me away with high prices, I can also be of help to you directly or indirectly as I have knowledge in multimedia field generally. Kindly make it affordable. Thanks.

I also won 2 tickets last year on beat fm to the Brandy Show. I got the answer to the question on google grin

The problem with Nigerian youths is converting their thoughts into action. The education system is theoretical and not practical. There is inadequate infrastructure and contrary to popular belief, there are lots of people who don't have access to the internet or even capable of navigating their way through the web.

I run an online store and lots of people find difficulty in placing orders undecided

Valuable Write-Up. Here's An Experience I Had When I Travelled To Umuahia Last Week.

so as we drove in the vehicle, the driver suddenly turned on the radio so i listened in and there was a girl on phone with the presenter. she was being congratulated for winning the quiz. the presenter stated that she was the only one who got the answer correctly. next he asks her how she did it and she replied that it was google.

right then it became more clear to me how many nigerians still don't know what asset google is.
Google alone is one great asset to humanity, but not everyone use it valuably.

Are you a great thinker?

I write to you great thinkers, I write to you students whose mindset is different from just coming to school to acquire certificates and become an employee but rather to become employers and great entrepreneurs.

Some great men never had this opportunities we are having today, yet they still come out successful in life. During the early days of Bill Gates struggling as a poor young boy, there was never anything like whatsapp, facebook, google etc yet he still comes out to rule the world as the richest man on earth as I write.

How did he do it? What did he do differently? Nothing my brothers and sisters, he only thinks differently. According to Brian Tracy, he said;"the difference betweeen the rich and the poor is their "thinking". There is a great POWER in that thing called "THINKING".

Bill Gates was a great thinker, despite the fact that he did not have access to what we all have access to today, yet he made use of what was available around him then, and see where he is today.

When people like Warren Buffet. Carlos Slim Helu, Dangote, Bill Gates are talking, a PHd Holder will fold back his arm and bow. Not because they are rich but because they think differently right from the early ours of their lives.

Are you a great thinker? The answer lies within your instinct and belief about life. If all you want to do is to go to school, acquire certificates and start working as an employee for a company or you want to be on top of the game, employ people, create businesses instead of depending on the government to provide jobs for you. It all depends on your thinking Sir/Ma.

Do you know we have more opportunities and better potentials to succeed financially even more than the people mentioned above? Today, we have google, whatsapp, twitter etc all on our palm. None of them ever had access to this platforms.

Mind you, this so called opportunity can either turn out to be a fortune or adversity for anyone depending on how we make use of it. How are you taking advantage of the opprtunties created by google, whatsapp, twitter, are you using them to add value to yourself or devalue yourself.

Success in life is far away from merely having a certificate, it depends on the kind of SKILLS you have, your ability to solve problems, your zeal to identify opportunities around you and use them to your advantage.

Be a great thinker. What you become tomorrow, is the product of your imagination.
When like minds come together with creative imagination, they move the world.

Be a great THINKER!

CareerRe: 5 Things You Need To Survive In The Real World As A Nigerian Graduate by menzo4u: 5:50pm On Oct 21, 2015
Emasky4real:
This article is dedicated to students who are still in high school, and undergraduates in the higher institutions learning. For those who are privileged to have access to formal education, there is this long time belief that higher education would guarantee one financial security, fame and success in life. Hence the common advice parents give their children is “go to school, get good grades and a high paying job is guaranteed”. The reality is that this belief and strategy of surviving in the real world is now outdated. Graduates who see the acquisition of a degree as a means of surviving in the real world only get outside there to find out that they were not ready for life at all.

To survive in a 21st century world as a Nigerian graduate, you must equip yourself with the following five tools.

(1) SKILL: One thing you are going to need badly after school and for the rest of your life is money, that is why you still see men in their 40s, 50s even 60s still riding okada and driving taxi to earn money. The truth is that immediately you become a graduate your parents or those who were responsible for your training will stop supporting you financially. They will assume you now have all it takes to survive, so the collection of pocket money will stop, and you will have to start solving your financial problems with your own earning ability. What this implies is that you will have to look for job with your certificate, and most often you will likely be underemployed, meaning you will not be paid what you are worth. The consequence of this is that you will end up not having enough financial resources to actualize your goals. Solving your financial problem will become difficult, and definitely the need for money will rise, because you will start thinking of getting a place for yourself, so that you can be on your own, getting married, going for a master’s program and so on. As this happens, psychological problems such as frustration, depression, self-pity, low self-esteem will start setting in, and if you are not careful, you may get demoralized to the point giving up on life.

To survive or avoid this you need a skill. Skill is the ability to do something very well. In the real world, people don't pay you for your certificate, they pay you for what you can do, and that's is the only legal way of getting money in the society, if you do otherwise, you would be called a fraudster, a thief or an armed robber. For example if I know how to repair phones anyone who has any problem with his/her phone will always come to me , and by the time I help him/her to solve the problem, the individual will pay me for that service. Now the question is what can you do? How can you render direct service with your current course of study?

The point here is you must have a skill. If you have none yet, enroll in a training center and start learning something. There are so many things you can learn within three months, and that would earn you nothing less than 50,000 per month.

Never look down on any skill, just consider your interest and what you love doing, and then acquire a skill in that area. When you do this, you can easily become your own boss after school or even before you graduate. If you are a graduate already reading this article and don’t have a job yet I recommend same. With an extra skill, you can increase your income. Never put your hope on getting a job that is not certain. To be forewarned is to before armed.

(2) INFORMATION: There is a general believe that knowledge is power, and that is very true. The 21st century world is information driven, and you need to consistently update yourself with the latest information in the areas that are critical to your survival. Sometimes people suffer because of ignorance.

If you must meet up with the latest trend, you have to develop the habit if continuous learning, you must be an ardent reader and an unrelenting information seeker. Try as much as possible to know everything you need to know that will help you to maximize your potentials. Always remember that what you don't know is more powerful than you. Keep yourself informed so that you will not be deformed.

Besides the acquisition of information, one other critical thing is the application of the information you have obtained. Having information without using is meaningless. Strive as much as possible to know all that you need to know about moving to your next level and take action at the right time.

(3) GUT: According to oxford advance learner dictionary, gut is defined as the courage or ability to do something difficult or unpleasant. The truth is that life is not fair for anybody, and definitely you are going to have your own share of life's difficulty in your quest for success. If you must succeed in the real world, gut is a necessary factor, because without it you will lack the courage to take action when things are not favorable, and that will keep you long in the valley of mediocrity. You may be very intelligent while in school, but after graduation you will discover that so many of your classmates who were not as intelligent as you were back in your school days are getting ahead, the reason is simply because they have the gut to try their ideas and that's what is getting them going.

To develop this quality, all you have to do is to cure yourself of every known fear. Experts in the field of personal development have identified certain fears that contribute to people's failure in life. Such fears include, the fear of death, fear of loss love, fear of ill-health, fear of criticism, fear of physical pain, fear of old age and so on. I assure you that if you can master these basic fears, you are going to have enough gut to try anything. Action is what produces result. You will never succeed if you don't try and to try all you need is gut.

(4) HARD WORK: In all of human history, hard work has been a critical tool of success, nothing can replace it. For you to survive and excel in the real world, you need an unwavering ability to take action, and persevere until you succeed. Most persons fail in life due to idleness. If you want to be poor all you need to do is be idle, and before you know it poverty will overtake you. A wise man once said that “where talent is lazy, hard work overtakes it”. No matter how knowledgeable, gifted and talented you are, if you refused to be hard-working, you will definitely be a failure. Always have it in mind that hard work is the only way. Never forget to always blend your hard work with strategic planning and persistence. Hard work combined in this manner will produce success.

(5) NETWORKING: Networking has to do with your ability to connect with people that will help you in getting to your next level. Niyi Adesanya, a personal development expert based in Nigeria once define individual competitiveness (in my own word, your capacity for success) as ‘’what you know + how you express it × by who you know and who knows you’’. I completely agree with his definition. The caliber of people you know and people who know you has a way of facilitating your success in life. As the world is today, the people we know to be the best in certain field are not actually the best. There are so many people who would have out-shined them if they are brought out of obscurity, but because they are not known by those who can position them to receive the honour they are worthy of, they remain irrelevant in their cocoon. If we must fully maximize our potential and remain relevant, our ability to network and connect with people who can help us get to our next level is critical.

That's some great piece from you, my friend. It's just as natural for people to only see failure or problems as problems, rather as opportunities for success and growth. What we see us what we get. We see problems, we get problems. We see solutions in problems, we sire become solutions. That's how the law of attraction works.

Bro, like you rightly wrote, all the genuinely wealthy and successful folks are problem solvers. It's being my habit to now seek success in every failure and solution in every problems.

Thanks for the OPA method. Though I haven't read it before I'm already using it to my success. We are responsible for our success or otherwise.

The world hugely pays problem solvers. I'm already acquiring the needed skills for my passion; and it's a question of time till I hit the goldmine.

Happy Sunday, and thanks again for the message.

CareerTHE BEAUTY In "Problems" by menzo4u(op):
I know your first thought would be,"is this guy ok?", how can one say such word as this, is there any beauty in problems at all?

Yes! There are so much beauty in problems for anyone who seeks to find it and take advantage of it.

There is arguably no one on earth, no matter how wealthy, who does not have one problem or the other, the beauty is that those who are ready to solve these problems are the ones who become financially independent and successful in life.

Since everyone in life (including you and me) has one problem or the other, and people are ready to pay you for every problem you solve for them, don't you see there is beauty in this problem? The bigger the problem you solve the bigger your chances of financial independence and success in life, or vice versa.

Solve great problems, make great success. Approach the problem that everyone is afraid to challenge and achieve the success that no one has ever achieved.

At this point, I remember a lines in Olamide's song, where he said;"If it's not making money, it's not making sense". Any problem that you are solving that does not provide money for you is senseless.

How can we solve problems?

The sure way to solving problems in life is only one way which is SKILLS ACQUISITION. Any skills you possess solves a problem.

What kind of skills should we possess?

Frankly speaking, it will be an enviable stupidity for anyone to embark on learning any skills without considering the kinds of problems it will solve. Is it the BIG problems or the SMALL problems?

Let's put it this way, Suraju a "shoemaker" out there who has a skill in repairing shoes, an Abo.ki who cuts nails for a living is also solving problems, now the question is, can they become financially independent through these skills?

Don't just go out there to learn any skills, first look for the various financial opportunities that is hidden in it, then develop a passion for it and acquire it.

Please follow the order called "OPA" before learning any skills in life.

OPA means O = Opportunity (identify the financial opportunity in the skills ), P = Passion (develop a passion for the skills), A = Acquire (Acquire the skills), don't do it the other way round, don't just ACQUIRE the skills first, follow the OP above.

You want to learn tailoring, web design, music production, hairdressing, make up artistry etc? Use the "OPA" method please.

We all talk about Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook owner), Dangote etc, these people all acquire skills, they solve problems, but they did not just "blindly" acquire skills, they also used the "OPA" method before they become who they are today.

My love, the ball is now in your court, do you want to become the next Dangote in your family or the next Suraju in your street? "OPA" is the answer.

I recommend the "OPA" method today. You can see now that indeed, there is beauty in problems?

Problem is not EVIL
