In an interview during the 2015 CNN MultiChoice African Journalist Awards, Tim Jacobs, CEO and MD of MultiChoice Africa disclosed this shocking revelation.

In his words:

"Nigeria is actually one of the cheapest subscription models we run on the continent. You guys can easily go to the Internet and see what consumers in other countries pay.

Nigeria pays $20 cheaper than, probably, all of your neighbours. Now, some of that is because of other considerations… there’s the VAT rate and other things the consumer has to pay for in other countries.

But Nigeria is a very affordable pay television market; it is one of the cheapest in the world."

// Sometimes we just don't appreciate what we have. We actually don't know the value of what we have until we loose them.

We just have to go out into the world and see what goes on in other countries, then we'll realise that we actually enjoying heaven on earth in our own country.

Let's blame less and thank more.

Appreciate your leaders no matter what they've done.

Let's learn to give credence to our president, governors, ministers, counsellors, chairmen, senators and principal officers.

Appreciate your parents, siblings, guardians, friends, relatives, well-wishers and even your enemies, and above all, let's all learn to appreciate God in all things.

EducationWhat Is It With Anambra And Education? by Mescopaul(op): 9:37am On Oct 30, 2015
Frankly speaking, Anambra state one of the most popular state in the Eastern region of Nigeria is a den of academic excellence.

Reading through the DailySun newspaper, some amazing facts seem to be mindblogging as to how Anambra came to achieve this academical feat in the country.

According to the observer, Segun Adeniyi, Anambra state education authority has been doing something right that earned the state such accolades.

He noted that the state had come first in the WAEC and NECO examinations for three consecutive times, and in the Multina Teacher Of the Year Awards, a teacher from Anambra state, Mrs. Rose Nkemdilim Obi, who teaches Maths at an all-girls college in Onitsha, defeated her fellow teachers from 19 other states of the federation to win this year's edition of Multina Teacher of the Year.

Two days after the award of best teacher of the year to a teacher from Anambra, Team Anambra also emerged winners of the national Pre-basic Debate Competition held in Abeokuta, Ogun state to mark Nigeria's 55th Independence anniversary.

Interestingly too, Anambra had won the same contest last year and subsequently flew the Nigerian flag in Singapore in June this year at the World Schools Debate Championship.

A fascinating thing also is that all the young students who have brought repeated honours to the state in national and international debate championships were all drawn from PUBLIC schools!

Apart from education, Anambra has also produced great men and women of renown, both in the country and in the world. A top list among whom are:

The Great Zik of Africa
Emeka Ojukwu
Chinua Achebe
Chike Obi
Chimamanda Adichie
Emeka Anyaoku
Christopher and his brother Pius Okigbo
Dora Akunyili
Chukwuma Soludo
Chuka Umunna
James Adichie
Ben Enweonwu

and a whole universe of amazing scholars, pioneers and achievers.

The secret of this great achievement of Anambra's academics is not far fetched.

Anambra has given concrete attention to the education sector of the state.
The former governor among his educational feats, made a bold step by returning mission schools to churches.

His successor Willie Obiano is not lagging behind in the pursue of academic excellence for the Light of The Nation. This is seen in his organised and structural approach that guarantees sustainability and instant results in the sector.

Now Obiano approaches education in three broad areas:

1. Infrastructural development.
2. Pupils/students development.
3. Teacher's welfare.

In infrastructure:
Obiano has
renovated 862 units of 10 classroom blocks across the 21 local govt areas and disbursed a wooping sum of N733 million to the missions.

In Pupils/students:
Obiano's administration has kept faith with its "No-Child-Left-Behind" policy in education, awarding free education to all physically challenged children in the state.

Also he awarded scholarships to the children of Boko Haram victims. In all, the state has awarded scholarships of N30 million in 18 months.

Under teachers' welfare:
Obiano sent 23 teachers to Singapore to undergo training in technical and vocational education in April this year.

The governor also increased the salaries of teachers by 15percent, also providing a One-Teacher-One-Laptop scheme to aid computer studies.

In conclusion, Anambra is topping in the education sector because of the relevance the government of the state has attached to the education sector and the 3pronged approach to education by the governor, no wonder he was awarded the Most Primary School-Friendly Governor of 2015 by Association of Primary School Head-Teachers of Nigeria (APSHON).

And we hardly need a crystal ball to see that this is just the beginning.

RomanceFreedom From The Act Of Lesbianism - Part 1 (written By Sir Mescopaul) by Mescopaul(op): 12:15pm On Oct 23, 2015
Motivated by the story of a young female , Dinnie by name, shared on a group on Facebook, who was deeply hooked in the net of Lesbianism and needed a way out, I write this article.

Her (Dinnie) story is not quite different from all other stories of gayism and homosexuality.
At one point or the other the victims of this inhuman desire are fedup and are desperate to get a way out of this monster.

Lesbianism Is?

For simplicity sake, a lesbian is a female homosexual: a female who experiences romantic love or sexual attraction to other females.

So Lesbianism is the act of having feelings of romantic love or sexual attraction which involves gestures and erotic movements between females.

While Lesbianism is the act, a lesbian is the doer of the act, in this case a female.

Is Lesbianism Natural?

Contrary to the belief of many gay right activists, sexologists, high profile opinionated persons, and countries, the act of lesbianism is not a natural phenomeonon. There are several causative mechanisms that initiate the desire of homosexuality in humans. According to me, some key factors are:

1. Early Exposure.
2. Family Background.
3. Childhood Abuse.
4. Spiritual Bonds.
5. Jet-Age Trendings.
6. Peer Pressure.

Early Exposure

In the early stage of development, the human body is on what I call involuntary excitement. Just like what Physics would tell us about an atom in the excited stage: it's so charged and fireup. At any moment it takes off at the slightest agitation, filled with much energy and speed.
So this involuntary excitement of the human body is independent of the individual, he has little or no control over it. It's natural. There is a rapid response of the body to outer stimulus, and any sexual related stimuli is speedily responded with a relative measure of sexual feeling and stirrings. This naturally starts occurring at the prime of ones life: mainly as a teemager. Many terms this Chemistry and it is usually mistaken by this jet-age young ones as the feeling of LOVE,
which in the real sense its far from love.

That you feel attracted to the opposite sex doesn't mean you are in love, it simply means that you are a human and your body mechanism is doing its job.

At this stage of ones life, the body is going on an adventure and it really wants to explore hieghts and peaks of fantasies, especially the sexual fantasies.

So it is really important to note what a teenager is expose to at this point in their life.
When a teenager (a female in this case) is occassionally exposed to books, movies and places that denotes and promotes female homosexuality, there is every tendency that such a young female might start nursing the desire to reproduce what has been stored in her minds, hence all her moves and actions are geared towards the plain of Lesbianism, and once she comes across a like-minded female, she sees it as a platform to expore and tour the world of homosexuality not oblivious of the after-effect of such disgusting sexual abuse.

Family Background And Childhood Abuse

I will quickly sum-up this two causative factors of Lesbianism in the next lines.

Families, especially that of the Western World, are too prone to this factor due to the high rate of divorce, separation, single parenthood and addiction to hard drugs.

In a story I read online, a woman was narrating her ordeal in lesbianism and what triggered off her likeness for the feminine world.

Among what she proposed as the foundation of her disgusting teenage life was the hatred she developed for the weakness and insecurity of the female in contrast with the male's security and strenght.

This was due to the ill treatment constantly meted out on her mum by her dad, who to her was fully utilising the benefits of being a man to the 'disadvantaged' woman.
At that instant she hated her gender and admired the male characteristics in preferrence to the female's. She wanted to be a boy, have muscles, play baseball etc. Also she was exposed to the 80's theory of 'females as objects created to satisfy the sexual demands of men' this she also envied, hence she wanted to be the one being satisfied and not the other way round.
Like the above woman, many teens are living with brutal fathers who make the woman at home feel less like a satisfying machine that would be available 247 to the benefactor: the man.
And such mindset had fuelled a dirty desire and hunger in young females to be the horse rider and not the horse itself that would suffer the weight of it's owner, but sadly has no choice than to keep going.

A home were a bully is a father, who pounces on the woman at any point in time to beat hell out of her might likely produce a lesbian who thinking that men are brutal beasts and women are at the recieving end. Well thank God for women rights activists today and the fight against abusing of the girlchild.

To be continued ..

AND THE TRUMPET HAD SOUNDED.

Many will still be bargaining in the market, and the trumpet had sounded.

Many pastors will still be sweating and vibrating on stage, yelling "God shall butter your bread and sugar your tea", and the trumpet had sounded.

Many will still be clutching their bible in their armpit going for evangelism, and the trumpet had sounded.

Many will still be locked on in their 30days dry prayer and fasting, and the trumpet had sounded.

Many will still be shedding tears during the worship time, feeling the touch of the song in their spirit, meanwhile the person standing next to them with dry eyes had vanished.

Many will still be cracking jokes and running shows, meanwhile there is a stampede outside.

Many broadcasters will still be on air reading out the top stories making the headlines, but the trumpet had just sounded.

For some, its siesta time. For others its party time.

For some its lovey dovey time.
For some its "reuniting with my Ex time" ..

For some, oh wonderful its another time of fellowship! And the Holy spirit had bade the church Goodbye.

For some its a time of pain and sorrow, hunger, penury and disgrace, but the trumpet just sounded some few seconds ago.

For some its a time of luxury, flamboyancy, philanthropy and extravangancy, and the trumpet had just sounded.

For some its, "wow i just got admitted to study medicine in Oxford University, am sooo happyy!!", wait, do you know the trumpet just sounded 30seconds ago??

For others, omg! I just lost my job! My life! My kids! My future! Am finished...meanwhile there is a stampede outside..

For some, we are the Indomine generation, we dont take those crappy stuff. I gat my BB and Phantom, all i do is pinging and selfieing all day. Thanks to my boyfreind...hello pls wait, do
you realise that there is a new breaking NEWS?? Yes people are missing, and its a good miss!

IT CUTS ACROSS ALL
AGES
RACE
CLASS
STATUS
RELIGION & BELIEF!

I want to be declared MISSING on that day!
Dont bother looking for me.
You will never find me.
I wont bother thinking about you.
Our destinies were different.

Keep your Phantom.
I have JESUS.
Keep your Porsche.
I have the HOLY SPIRIT.
Keep your Skyscrapper.
I have the FATHER GOD.

WAIT,
I will have my Phantom, and i will still have JESUS.
I do have a Porsche, THE HOLY SPIRIT is on the wheels.
Pls lets build a Skyscrapper with 500 stories, and fill the rooms with Hospitals for the poor, Home for the Homeless, School for the uneducated, Centres for Believers fellowship ....

Due to the multiple complaints that arose from MTN's latest re-registration saga, the no 1 biggest telecommunication company in Nigeria and Africa has rolled out abundance of compensation for its customers.

Now with #200 , its customers (though not all) can subscribe for an UNLIMITED free MTN2MTN calls valid for 7days from the day of subscription.

To enjoy this offer from MTN, ensure you have upto 200naira in your account and dial *142#, next select 2 and send.

NB: Different Sims have different functions for the code *142#, whichever is yours, Enjoy!

In addition, a wooping bonus (MTN2MTN) of NGN6000 (six thousand naira) is also given. To check that dial *559*4#.

Though this may also vary for different MTN users.

The implication is this:
After exhausting your free unlimited calls for 7days, you start tapping little by little from the 6K MTN2MTN bonus for as "long" as the "late" World Trade Centre is! Lol!

So all those who 'bin 'ating MTN, c'mmon SMILE !!

Following the blocking of some SIM cards and request for re-registration of already registered SIM cards by MTN and other service providers, an angry Nigerian has written an amusing open letter to MTN via the social media. Read the letter below:

LETTER TO MTN
Dear MTN,
I will not go and re-register my line. You can fool everyone if you like, you might have fooled me before, but you would never fool me again.

The only reason while you continue to pull the wool over our gullible eyes is because the consumer rights’ protection agencies are either in the vegetative state, or completely dead.

How can you explain a situation where you would tell your millions of teeming subscribers to register their SIM cards and provide the
necessary bio-data, only for you to wake up one morning to tell us to go and register our lines again WITH ABSOLUTELY NO EXPLANATION?

It beats my imagination and it defies not just logic, but also philosophy. Were you drunk when you were registering our numbers? Did a malicious virus wipe your entire database?
Maybe I’m giving you too much credit sef. You probably wrote the records in books like an ancient bookkeeper and a giant yellow rat ate them all. Whatever your reasons (or lack of reasons) may be, this is beyond ridiculous.
I have always maintained an MTN line because apart from being my very first line, most of my close associates also use MTN. To some extent, the coverage is also extensive. I didn’t hesitate when the directive came from NCC to register our lines. I braved the queue, registered my line and collected my security number. Didn’t I try enough?

Looking back, I can deduce that my to MTN was more sentimental than practical, as your tariffs are the highest for calls and for browsing. You send an average of 100 spam texts per day, enough to run down a Blackberry battery and more than enough to give any Osun State government worker waiting for Aregbesola’s alert acute hypertension. Your nuisance value knows no bounds.
Even Airtel that has been passed round different investors more times than a devil’s mail bag has not come up with this kind of
Grade A foolishness. What the heck is wrong with you? Don’t your customers mean anything to you? Doesn’t it bother you that Nigerians who wasted their time to register their SIM cards have to do the same thing again? You haven’t
even deemed it fit to fine-tune the process. It doesn’t make sense to preserve bad experiences like these, in very much the same way that one relic of history is preserving mud huts, and stating them on an assets’ declaration form.

My records are not on your database, but you remember my number when you want to tell me to text ‘YES’ to win a missing plot of land in Port-Harcourt, right? I really don’t blame you. If
Nigerians had run your devious, xenophobic, exploitative, heartless, opportunistic, fraudulent ass back to South Africa, you wouldn’t be here making them queue desperately like migrants.

What’s to say that there wouldn’t be another sham registration in the next couple of months since you guys obviously don’t know what you are doing? You blocked my line, you have helped me. Prior to your ridiculous directive, I had already banished your yeye SIM card to a barely functional phone. I have even borrowed the maximum permissible amount. Go ahead, feel free. It sure feels great knowing that when I eventually toss the phone into the trash-can, I won’t have to take out the SIM.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
You deserve to be sued for every fraudulent penny you’ve ever made on our shores. Thanks to other service providers for making sure that your evil dream of becoming a monopoly will forever remain a demented hallucination.
There are so many fishes in the ocean. I will not tolerate your recklessness any longer. Peace at last....
This letter speaks my mind.

Please forward till it reach those nonsensical offices.
