How can you fail commerce and pass economics? Your result doesn't add up. Passed math as well with economics and couldn't smash Financial Accounting? |
5DMindset:Mbaise is now a tribe of its own? This is why it'll be difficult for Mbaise to cling to Imo Governorship. Nobody trusts them. You guys should stop this shameful saga |
Why is this not making headlines? All our politicians silent? Nigeria's parliament is investigating reports that 97 fishermen have been killed in the Bakassi peninsula, which the country ceded to Cameroon. Reports say that the killings happened last week when a Cameroonian paramilitary unit was enforcing a $300 (£230) fishing levy. Nigerian Interior Minister Abdulrahman Dambazau accused Cameroon of breaching an agreement to protect its citizens. The Cameroonian government is yet to comment. Cameroon took control of oil-rich Bakassi in 2008 after an International Court of Justice ruling, ending years of border skirmishes. ADVERTISEMENT Africa Live: Updates on this and other stories Survivors of the attack have been arriving back in Nigeria with injuries, reports the BBC's Naziru Mikailu in the capital, Abuja. Nigeria's lower house of parliament resolved that it will investigate the reports in view of the 2005 Green Tea agreement between the two countries, to protect the citizens of the ceded areas from harm. A five-year UN-backed transition period was put in place exempting the area's residents, many of them Nigerian fishermen, from paying tax. Nigeria earlier this week summoned the Cameroonian ambassador to lodge a formal protest note. About Bakassi: map • Cameroon based its claim of sovereignty on maps dating back to the colonial era • It was administered by Nigeria from independence in 1960 until 2008 • Nigeria and Cameroon nearly went to war over Bakassi in 1981 and bloody clashes claimed 34 lives in 1994 • In 2002, the International Court of Justice ruled in Cameroon's favour • 14 August 2006: Nigerian troops withdrew but the area remained under Nigerian administration • 14 August 2008: Nigeria fully ceded the territory to Cameroon • 15 August 2013: Cameroon took over full sovereignty and a tax-free exemption for residents came to an end Source :http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-40607306 |
Gates do not prevent robbery. Other gated banks has been robbed more than GTB |
Great article. The first recorded person to survive rabies infection is Jeanna Giese who underwent a an experimental treatment in Milwauke, hence the Milwauke protocol. She was put in a medically induced coma to protect her brain from damaging effects of rabies virus until her immune system could fight the disease. She was also treated with some antiviral medication while in coma. The protocol has been modified since its first use. I was fascinated by the protocol and her survival that I had to contact her on Facebook around 2010. She's quite very lucky |
What's the OP trying achieve? Demonise Igbos? Do you know how many Bishops transfered in Igbo land and how they are received ? This is an isolated and unfortunate case. |
emakoji:What a question. Can you buy tear rubber bmw and drive around nigeria without fear of beign kidnapped? You don't see Nigeria as dangerous because you are financially poor. Hit good money and you lose your freedom. |
JideSM:Thanks for the clarification. Unless they reverse the airtime within reasonable time, they would come to present their terms and conditions in the court. No wahala |
JideSM:Hope you read my post. I am under no obligation to unsubscribe from what l did not subscribe for. Besides, the auto renewal date has long passed. I have already laid a complaint with NCC. If they don't handle it well, I will consider a redress in court . No joking |
1 this lady needs help. Where are amnesty , naptip when ee need them |
Buhari has suffered. They should let the old man resign, everyone is turning his ailment to a joke. Very soon Edo association of witches and wizards will recommend their own. |
Wahala, every village and hamlet now want their country. Igbos want Niger Delta, Niger Delta said they don't want Fulani wants middle belt, middle belt doesn't want fulani . Ijaw wants itsekiri, itsekiri rejects ijaw supremacy in Niger Delta. The list goes on and on . |
It is little things that make a nation great. Do you know several days after data expiry, these guys had the audacity to zap my money , and open their mouth to tell me I should have cancelled auto-renewal ! Something they subscribed by themselves, same renewal I intentionally allowed not to auto-renew after expiry. I bought MTN one week Data Bundle of 750MB for N500 on my number (080*******) on the 20th of June 2017. They automatically enrolled me for auto-renewal (unsolicited subscription). This data exhausted and got expired on the 27th June. They sent me a message that the data has expired and could not auto-renew due to insufficient credit. I did not want the auto-renewal so I let it go. On the 1st of July 2017, I loaded N1200 airtime. Within minutes I received a message that my one week Data Bundle of 750MB has been auto-renewed and N500 deducted from my airtime balance . Something that expired four days earlier ! I immediately put a call across MTN customer care line to reverse the transaction, that the money is not meant for that. In fact I turned off my data to avoid it being used . The customer care representative now told me that I should have unsubscribed from auto renewal that they do not reverse data bundle once purchased . I now outlined some points to him: 1. It is your organisation that subscribed me to auto-renewal , I did not ask for it and therefore not under any obligation to to cancel it . MTN should give me opportunity to choose auto-renewal by myself. I am not constrained to cancel what I did not activate. 2. The data expired as at when due , and your organisation sent me a message that you could not renew due to insufficient airtime. Logically , I thought that was the end of it. Charging me several days after expiry is plain illegal 3. You do not lose any money by reversing it , and the money will still be used within MTN network, it is not as if you are transferring it back to my bank account. Unfortunately, MTN customer care did not deem it fit to reverse the transaction and insisted to subscribing me to a service I did not want. Cc JideSM |
CrescentMoon:Unfortunately, you are suffering mainly from chemicals you have been taken called drugs. You need to slow down. |

They auto-renewed me , I contacted their customer service , they promptly cancelled and reversed the money. It happened again, this time they even have a button to reverse auto-renewal by yourself without chatting their customer service ! So far you did not use the service after the auto-renewal. I clicked the button and got my money reversed. Nigeria service providers are most callous worldwide. Such a shame. If possible , and deemed worth it, please push to frontpage, what our service providers are doing is completely illegal. Lalastilala , mynd44 |
Stupidity at the highest level. Mbaise will never change |
fiizznation:When the time comes, you will know. Northern Nigeria youths are very primitive to make such a silly statement. |
Arewa youths never see something. Igbos born and bred in the north are indigenous northern Igbos. They are protected by international laws. They think they can just collect their investment at the platter of gold. ![]() Biafra or no Biafra, they retain their properties. They would have dual citizenships.

Joel3:Love, hate, anger, affection etc are all forms of emotion. Yes love is a type of emotion that exists. Love do exist |
tot its only biafrauds and Igbos that are criminals in igeria |
What kind of slowpoke OP is this? Arabic has existed before Islam, yes there is Arabic Bible because Arabic is someone's language. Arabic is not paedophile religion. Problem is Islamic Arabic Studies, which teaches a particular religion. Park well |
Truth is these ediots can't get over their sickly president. It's God that gives power. By the way, Biafra or no Biafra, these ppl have no right to chase anybody out of northern Nigeria. How many Nigerians were chased out of the UK and Europe after our independence in 1960? Worse case scenario, Igbos living in the north might apply for residency. There are international laws that guide procedures like this. If this shiit get real, Yorubas and middle belt (including southern kaduna ) will pull out of the union. Arewa will br like Chad or Niger. Northern oligarchs will lose their concess8in Niger Delta. Fighting Igbos won't make Arewa friends with south south . Even if south south does not support biafra. It's a loss loss for northerners . |
vayne:You speak as if you have no brain left. So when Nigeria got independence, they all relocated from the UK? We are in a global village. Biafra or no Biafra, nobody has any right to evict anyone. |
Southern Nigeria is doing really well |
Restructure Nigeria |
This country is in big shi*t. We lack qualified science and math teachers. It's the same ediots that passed exams through malpractice that are now teaching in schools. Our government another useless entity. Is not our government that was pushing to increase Internet tariffs? Penetration is poor and they want to make it worse so that they can generate more revenue to steal in their pockets? How can we innovate when Government is taxing citizens like tomorrow no dey during recession? Pump price increased, bank charges, etc. When US entered recession, Obama released excess money into the economy and helped ailing companies. How can we innovate when we are still grappling with fundamental human needs - food, shelter and clothing? How can we innovate when all Nigerians think that mineral resources are true resources, when true resources are people and should be properly invested in in form of quality education and training? How can we innovate when we place premium on paper certificate rather than skills and intelligence? How can we innovate when we enthroned mediocrity in Education in form of quota system of education? The list is endless, what is against us is endless. Those shouting one Nigeria are Nigeria's greatest enemies |
HiddenShadow:You have been thoroughly brainwashed, living in your illusions. Better wake up. Is Biafra a religious entity or a country? Do you want to create another Saudi Arabia? Imagine your illiterate mouth - Referendum will weed out troublesome from friendly Niger Delta tribes. Educated ones will take over from you fanatics once it's realised. |
tinkinjow:I sort of agree with you. It's your fundamental right to choose. For security reasons, I won't be posting screen shots. Your people have been cursing on Facebook and other social media. Can't they simply not support without bad mouthing? |
I love the way planned referendum is organised by IPOB. Though I'm no member neither am I interested in their Okike Abiama stuff. Each ethnic nationality makes a decision to join. No compulsion. I'm 90% sure that our neighbours that eat from the same plate with us will surely betray us as they did during Biafra war. The ones Igbo grassroots voted their son wholeheartedly. But the arrangement is perfect, if it is only south east remaining, it's very OK. Luxembourg is landlocked but has the highest nominal GDP per capita. It's all about planning. |
