Nigerian politicians can use anything to succeed in politics, even religion. It's pathetic. |
The Blues will definitely defeat the Red Devils! Throughout this season Chelsea players have kept moving out of sheer determination of the players. Little so from the expertise of the coach! Chelsea is still a Mourinho team and they will surely put a smile on The Special One's face by winning! Go Chelsea! |
sorry, my thought should spell thus "taught" |
My experience while searching for job placement in Nigeria has thought me a lot! A simple conclusion yet speaks volumes: it does not matter whether you finished with 1st class, 2nd class (upper or lower), 3rd class, pass or if you did not finish at all. At the end of the day, they make it clear that it does not matter WHAT you know(or claim to know), but WHO you know! |
SAVE THE CHEERLADY, SAVE THE WORLD! |
bill gates has been beaten as the richest man in the world many times. but this "stubborn" guy just keeps bouncing back. i'm sure slim's success is just momentary. by the way, is this mexican's job wholly legitimate? don't blame me, bacause it's a known fact that most of the world's notorious drug barons are found in the americas. however, i believe that bill gates's "exhalted" position in the world can be overcome by anybody, even a nigerian!(LOL) |
dis qsn has no straightforward answer cuz many novelists move me differently. but my most celebrated novelist is Dan Brown. he has re-defined d way novels r written. he does his "homework" well and doesnt only give us a fictitious work of art (or science) by an encyclopaedia of information! he's lyk no other! |

I was a Mobil scholar once and I (and a couple of buddies) had the same problem of payment. The best you can do is to try and call the Career and Human Resource Department (at least, that's what they used to call it back then). Get their phone number (preferably GSM) and bother them. They will do something. I assure you. Good luck. |
Thanks every1 4 ur contributions. i'm begining 2 get a bird's eye view of d country thru u. kip d gud work |

Well,it's me again! The fees are quite cheap. For your first registration, you pay a total sum of 4,000 Naira (which also covers some learning materials!). In your subsequent classes, you pay 2,200 Naira till you finish the course. Although the fees may vary from region to region, it wouldn't be anything you wont gladly pay . Bon chance. |

Bonjour, Allianse Francaise offers French classes for interested individuals of any age. I know they are very popular here in the North (Kaduna, Kano etc),what I don't know is if they have extensions all over Nigeria. I am a student of French there and they surely teach it the French way! Give them a call and see if they have reached where you are. Their Kaduna phone number is 062-248531. Hope you find this helpful. Au revoir et bon chance! ![]() |
Hey guys, i may be leaving for Hungary this september for studies and naturally, i'm very apprehensive. i would like to know if there's any Nairalander who's studying or had studied in this central european country who can give me (free! )gist about the country. i've read a lot about the country on the internet but i prefer a hands-on information from an experienced and unbiased person. Thanks and any help will be appreciated. |
It is disheartening the way some governors are agitating for another term. More disheartening are those that foolishly believe that they have done so well to deserve running for presidency. I don' t think any governor can beat his chest and say he did so and so to his state that is worthy of commendation or out of his (and more recently, her) assigned respondibility to his followers and electorates. My governor (Kaduna State) has done nothing to write home about. People talk about rural electrification, sufficient distribution of fertiliser, road construction and repairs, bridge building etc. Little did most of them know that all these so called applaudable projects (i fany at all) were executed with the interests accrued from their salaries lodged in fixed deposit accounts. I don't have any frame of reference as evidence though, but I guess when it comes to issues like these, the objective Nigerian does not require further convincing. So, compatriots tell us what your governor has done for you. There are only two flip sides,it's either you are proud of him or have left the ever merciful Lord to judge between the two of you. God Bless Nigeria. |

Hey Nairalanders, I'm looking for a good internet connection at my home in Kaduna. Anyone with ideas on how I can get one? Advice and suggestions are welcome. Thanks so much & looking forward to hear from you soon. |
I remember about four to five years ago when this question was asked on our good ol' Sunday Sunday tonic, the evening Newsline then presented by Frank Olize.I was surprised how varied the answers of fellow Nigerians were.I am sure you will also be surprised at our candid answers. Please,be as honest as the question deserves. God bless Nigeria. |

if i can remember correctly,i think there's a sort of gender abuse in the book, Eze Goes to School. Some gender equality proponents criticise the book of it's indication of male intellectual superiority over women. If u can remember,Eze's father told him never to let that girl in his class(i think her name's chinwe) to beat him to the 1st position in class.I believe that's a sure enough reason for the book to give these critics a good enough reason to send the book to the gallows |
d qsn aint specific enuf! being smarter in wot? academics, business, leadership, i need more specificity! but 1 thin i'm sure is dat women r damn smarter dan men wen it comes 2 shopping in d market! |

Honey, i want 2b an astronaut somday so dat wen ur family move to Mars i can still visit u! |
looking at the wealth of echoleon u showered on the movie,it's hard for one to believe that u are not advertising the movie as u claim. nothing will ever make me watch a nigerian movie again,we're embarrassingly backwards in that aspect! neither the pictures, direction, production nor the story lines are qualitative.we've got a long way to go! |
