Goal paocher with just one goal

I don't know how to tell you guys this
During AFCON an unexpected player most times steal the show
Like Amunike in 1994
Osaze in 2004
Sunday Mba in 2013

You give all your players chance to prove themselves you never can tell who the lucky one is

I will remind you guys when Nigeria leaves the tournament
Yes one goal in three games so how bad is that? And mind you, he has been involved one way or another in all the team's goals.

This is a tournament where, you just don't count goals alone. How many goals did Ideye score at AFCON 2013 before becoming one of the best players?

You don't manage a football team based on emotions

Bro form is temporary but class is permanent if you don't know. This is the knockout stages, a dangerman upfront is an advantage.

What should be saying is pair Osimhen or slot in another during the second half.

Going into the tournanment as it reaches its advanced stage, it is always certain that team managers and coaches find a hard time devising some tactical noose that will be difficult for other opponents to decode.. it only gets tougher and stronger as feeble(weak) teams are kicked out.

The hopes of our team advancing further rests on what the technical crew handlers as the team(Super Eagles) has been playing below/par what most of us expect here, our best game so far being against Cote d'lvoire.
I have come up with 4 best line up for the SE if they hope of advancing further this tournament with the remaining matches.

Please Anyone who knows Someone that knows the people who knows Someone that knows Peseiro should tag them.

My first line up is: 4- 3- 3.
This is the one of the best lineups. This lineup will link our talismans to the main Striker(Osimhen)
This tactics was effective with Rohr during our 2019 AFCON campaign it paid off in the game against Cameroun.
This formation had Iwobi played behind Ighalo that had an assist and also gave us the winning goal. I think Iwobi pairing up Osimhen is a good thing cos he will cause a lot of treats to the opponent defense line with "sexy penetration passes".

Iwobi playing deep has not been helpful in our recent matches this AFCON. The best of Iwobi is behind the striking force.
His capabilities speaks for him.

I chose Musa to play ahead of Chukwueze cos he has been very wasteful upfront.
Chukwueze ratings in this tournament is very low and has caused us unforgivable missed chances and shabby shots at posts.
Musa with his experience will fill in the gaps as his tenacity speaks for him.
Nice input

Though I think 343 or 352 would be better because that's what has made our defense so difficult to break.

It's the only thing that brought us to the KO stage.

So if Oshimen was not in this team you guys will not play?

The earlier you understand that in most afcon that Nigeria has done well usually an unexpected player steals the show

2002 AFCON Julius Aghahowa

In 2004 AFCON it was Osaze

In 2013 AFCON it was Sunday Mba

Kanu Kwankwo our all time best player and two times AFRICA Best player have no AFCON goal.

You need to understand that somehow it may be Iheancho or moffi afcon to shine
If Osimhen isn't present that's a different case. Keeping a known goal poacher like Osimhen on the bench in a crucial game is not a wise call.

That guy keeps defenders on their toes and causes them to commit errors that leads to goals. His movement and presence also draws their attention to himself which is a leeway for our wingers to cause damage

If the wingers were doing well I'm sure our goals return wouldn't have been this bad.

What I noticed is that NIGERIA MATCHES ARE ALWAYS BORING.

I dropped my phone at a point when watching yesterday.

Unlike today's matches (Gambia Vs Cameroon, Algeria Vs Mauritania) that are super interesting.
You probably don't care about the team's progress

How’d anybody know Equitorial Guinea striker would be Afcon top scorer at the moment. Someone who plays as right back in lower tier division
Moffi should be given his chance
The match be like extra time thing

Iheanacho just right behind them like Jude Bellingham position in Real Madrid
To unleash Lookman fully he needs to be closer to goal not wide the flanks
Osimhen go dey bench??

Don't be surprised if Osimhen's market value drops and clubs lose interest.

He only has himself to blame.

The best thing is to pair Osimhen with Moffi. That's what Osimhen needs right now.

Osimhen will not come good.

He couldn't score against Ghana and qualify SE for the world cup...

By now you should accept the fact that Osimhen struggles against good African teams and he may be used as a super sub.

Leave Aina on the left and put lookman on the right so that they can cross to the main striker.

Aina showed he can cross accurately with his left leg so moving him to the right is foolishness.

Lookman start on the RW while chukwueze is benched.
That's is a call for disaster. You can't bench the most deadliest striker in the tournament. His presence alone is a handful for defenders.

And don't just conclude on him so soon. A sleeping lion is more dangerous than a lively dog.

But wait oo, i want to understand something, why Equatorial guinea draw with us..if they can actually score 8goals in 2matches…why was our scoring opportunity against them more than theirs in that first game?
I think they were being wary and very cautious of our attacking threat.

Although this has not been materializing but you can't have an attack comprising of fast and deadly players like Osimhen, Lookman, simon, Chuks, Iwobi and others ( in fact the whole of our attack)

We have the deadliest fronline in the AFCON on paper so they've got to be wary.

Ighalo remains our best striker in recent times.
No one comes close.
This is not even arguable
It would have made sense if Osimhen had started from the bench. Moffi or Onuachu should have started. Who knows they might turn out to be more prolific than Victor.

I just don't know what exactly is wrong with Osimhen.

Over three matches he has been awful in front of goal while getting at least two to three big chances per game!

This is not the Osimhen the world knows at Napoli! 😕 What exactly is going on?🤔

Does he not know that the whole world is watching?... The only thing that's been keeping him a little bit relevant is that he has his other attributes going for him - his pace, strength, and agility.

Bassey: LB, CB, LWB

Ajayi- CB, DM(Although he was terrible the last time he played there in the GWG)
