ephi123: Which law has Shell faced? You better stick to what you know rather than making bogus claims all in the name of defending a failed government.
"Adult governance" is citizens being slaughtered in their towns and villages, it is double digit inflation, and a leader who banned medical tourism being an excellent example by flying to London. Not only adult governance, it is kiddies governance

ephi123: Buhari has been a huge disappointment, that's the bitter truth. Nigerians voted for change because they were fed up of the previous administration but alas Buhari's administration has broken several negative records in just 2 years. Is it the forex crisis, inflation, unemployment, nepotism, herdsmen killing, tomato scarcity, bank charges for deposits, just mention it. Everything that can go wrong has gone wrong under this government. Reality and facts/figures speak for themselves.
No significant achievement he can point to. Unfortunate.

Adminisher: 70% of Nigerians know they have NOT made a mistake. Nigerians know the problem of Nigeria is CORRUPTION. Buhari is the only member of the elite class who has called it out and is tackling it . Before now it was the lot of social crusaders and activists. Now you are having 'adult governance' where corporate citizens like MTN and Shell are compelled to face the law.
Who els could have shown the guts to take hard decisions like this?... Atiku?, El Rufai?, Jonathan? None.

kateskitty: You didn't let me finish my comment before rushing to quote me. The problem with this self-made thing she is preaching is that she may have forgotten that in every rule, there's an exception and she is that exception. Just because she did it and it worked out well for her doesn't mean it will work for everyone.
Don't forget that Nigeria is a funny country where something that works today may not work tomorrow. Now imagine if someone tried to be self-made and failed at it, what happens next
I know someone who wanted to be a self made musician but her parents forced her to go to school, she managed to get her degree and went back to music. Guess what, the musical career crashed and now she's glad she has her degree which she's using to work.
So my point is, she can only inspire some people but not everyone will be self-made like her

Wole Soyinka is always looking very simple, an epitome of humility. The picture of the looter from Bayelsa made me spill my coffee. about ara... check the post ontop of this one! |

That's really cool. believe it or not, that babe with drum used to be very agile and fit.. now she looks like a sack of 50kg groundnut. it's a shame most nigerian artistes don't know how to stay in shape for the sake of their art and performance. she used to look so cool drumming and performing on stage, now she is fat and looks so out of place and uninteresting doing the drum thing.

abescom: But during Obj and Yar Adua's regime, they were not given systemic support as much as they were under GEJ. GEJ allowed them to thrive knowing well that the north was playing an evil game which he would have leveraged on.
Ever wondered why when they bombed or attempted to bomb Lagos they were quickly checked? GEJ was probably thinking, you guys do not want me but thank GOODNESS you guys are only killing yourselves.
The Obanikoro statement to efcc is quite telling. He revealed the moves, positive moves, GEJ may when BK were beginning to infiltrate other parts of the nation.
Another thing quite revealing is the Victory the army achieved against those miscreants days to the general election. It showed the army had the power but the GCFR didn't allow them use the power they had and still have.

Seunjungle: I thought life is only not fare to me not knowing that it happens to every first born of the family...most especially we that carries the love of our family. I think we face series of challenges but the problem that is common among us is the challenge of "set back" we inherited from our parents..we always want to fix that wrong path to normal which leads us out of own concentration about life..before we know it time is gone already. _We are like sacrifice to straighten our brothers and sisters way _We carries the bordens of our juniors because we don't want them to face what we are facing _We want to make sure we get our parents out of that mess _We starves ourselves because we want to feed our family. All these rub us of our own attention..its like God sent us as a sacrifice for our immediate family! Jesus Christ too was also a first born!.
But I don't want to believe that this happen to those first borns from wealthy homes
God is our comforter God is our strength God is our helper
Shoutout to every first born out there!!!

Dynamite02: O.Y.O is another title for first-borns,I must carry the load of everyone, but no one cares about me,no one asks if I am okay because whether I like it or not I must be strong. When our parents died,I couldn't even wail and cry because they'll hopelessly look at me like "if she's doing this that means we are finished"...I was depressed,no one noticed, but God helped me scale through. #Jahismystrength
