Politics › Re: We Need Afrocentric Response To Covid-19. Stop Punishing Nigerians!! by MetaPhysical: 6:16pm On Mar 29, 2020
Niorte:
A friend forwarded the message below to me and I cannot but agree with the writer. Please read and write what you think below

Dear Writers, can you help share this to get to the top before it is too late??

Is Self-Isolation the best for Nigeria and Africa at the moment? Let’s look at its end result.

When I listen to Young people that reasons like Seun Kuti, it builds my hope that one day, the narratives will change for good.

Sometimes it seems we write or speak more intelligently than our leaders, it is not so because what we know, they equally know? But this is us telling the raw truth they have refused to tell you and will never tell you because they benefit more from shroud politics and fraudulent leadership, which by all means makes them appear unintelligent. And you as a citizen have not helped matters because you appear to be uninformed as to what your rights are and how to demand for it.

“The People that created social distancing and self isolation against Covid-19 are the Europeans, because, that is what will work for them after putting one or two comprehensive analysis together.

The Chinese didn’t use social distancing and self isolation, they quarantined their people by force, because that is what will work for them at that moment.

But not only that, China were building and putting to use new hospitals every 6days, to help get ahead of the virus, because many Chinese didn't have access to healthcare and they understood what needed to be done which will work for them. Their response was completely Chinese and not African or European, they knew what China needed to move China fast out of the mess and that’s what they did.

So, when the Virus got to Europe and the Europeans looked at their society and came up with social distancing and self isolation because they understood that that approach is what will help Europeans. Europeans don't have communities that are without water, they don’t have communities without Hospitals, Europeans don't live in face-me-I-face-you-houses, some of the homeless they have, they put them in government reserved shelters. Social distancing and self isolation is completely European and Eurocentric response to Covid-19, it is not Chinese response, it is their own Response. Europe doesn't have slumps like where most people live in Aba, Lagos, Onitsha etc with gutters and shanties here and there. They don't have communities without free water and electricity. Thus, Self Isolation became easy.

But People buy water in Africa (Nigeria) to survive, some people don't even have money to buy water. Now the Europeans that asked their people to self isolate, have created different types of funds to put in the pockets of their citizens to sustain them during the Isolation period. But Nigerian medical professionals and politicians are shouting “Self Isolation and social distancing”, how many Nigerians can survive 2weeks without hustling, Without going to the streets to find daily bread?

Buy forcing Nigerians to self isolate without putting anything in their pockets, the government is only asking Nigerians to choose between death by Covid or death by hunger. How have they saved Nigerians by this? This is not a response peculiar to our society.

You don’t bring an European trained doctor to treat malaria in Nigeria, malaria will kill a lot of people under his watch because he have no such experiences. There’s no mosquito in Europe and so, there are no malaria cases for proper experience.

African leaders should be creative and stop the copycat. This is why we have remained slaves to the westerners. Depending on them for everything.

But African leaders all over the continent gives themselves the best in this world. They ride in the best cars, they wear the best cloths, they live in the best homes, access the best hospitals in the world, have the best security, send their children to the best schools in the world. They give themselves world class services with our Commonwealth.

So, who taught you that you don’t have a right to demand for the best services from them? Who put it in your brains that you don't deserve to ask them for world class services? Who put that in your brain? Is it your pastors, your parents, is it the dormant schools you went to? Guys, remove that shit from your brain. Until the people learn to stand up and demand what’s due for them, nothing will change.

This Social distancing and self isolation is not Afrocentric! Is not for Africans and will never work for Africans in this situation should it get out of hands. How are we going to sustain families during this Isolation if the situation gets too tough? This is the window period to think!! Don’t let it hit us before we plan for it.

America with the lowest level of poverty is giving each adult a thousand dollars, (N380,000) but you are comfortable Isolating without food.

Desperate situations requires desperate measures.”

If you like share this till it gets attention, if you don’t like, sit back and wait. Two months in your room, we will know how far.

Nice analyst, but could you explain 4 and 5 more I don't understand it
4. Is the position of something previously put under ground, later bringing itself out forcefully. It will disturb the soil in which it is buried. When examined the location where the incidence happened will have characteristics consistent with the crater in Akure.

5. Is the argument offered by police that it was accidental discharge from explosives sitting on a transporting truck that caught fire and set off the dynamites. We have a crater resulting from the explosion. The crater does not agree with signature of surface to ground energy impact.

There were no casualties because the police EOD team escorting the shipment said that when they noticed smoke from the engine of the truck, they had to move it as far as possible from where there are houses before clearing by the road.

They then tried to stop the smoke but we're unsuccessful as a small fire started coming out of the engine.

At this point, the EOD police advised that they move very far away from the truck with the rest of the vehicles knowing fully well it would explode.

This account was given by the Ondo State Police Commissioner and it makes sense.

The fragments of the blown up truck must have landed miles away from the explosion site so you cannot find a wrecked lying there.
The commissioner should be fired for escorting trucks that are not road-worthy.

One of the tests for road worthiness is that vehicle operators must have fire extinguisher.

In particular a truck shipping explosives is no different from a petrol tanker with flammable fluid and must not be allowed on the road without fire extinguisher.

Fire extinguisher is designed precisely for the root cause the commissioner described and will quickly kill smoke, smoulder and small fires on and around the truck transporting hazardous materials.

The commissioner flouted law.

Yet some deaddd braineeddd misogynists will ask questions/commments such as ''how are women oppressed?'' Which laws/cultures oppress women? They maintain that bad practices had been stopped long ago, stupidd assedd deceitful SOGs. Sad enough, you see some females who join in expressing such stupidityyyy, their kinds definitely get too blind to read threads like this. You see them in other threads asking stupidd questions and questioning feminism and equal rights. Foolish females who try to impress men and seek men's validation, their kinds are the type who hold down a female child for circumcision, who use blades to shave her fellow woman's hair, who stands and watches her follow woman drink the water used in washing her husband's corpse, etc, in this 21st century. From the picture above, it is saddening that same women is a tool used by men/society/cultures to oppress women.
I read in this article that women who have experienced such humiliation are being asked to come forward and join in a counter-force to do away with the barbarism. This is a very good idea.

However, some also narrated their own experience here and said after his mother defied her in-laws they started fighting her spiritually to get what they could not get physically.

So its going to be a battle. Im surprised Ibo has women who feature prominently at international level and yet they distance from this problem. Im surprised at Chimamanda. Even Linda Ikeji....she is steady trying to be a kardashian but her fellow women back home are being treated like dog. Look at Ezekwesili fighting for BBOG but young girls in Iboland will marry and one day be subjected to this act of slavery. Even slaves will not be given to drink waste water from her master's cadaver body wash.

But look at the article....look at the name of the reporter....a Yoruba woman fighting to bring this out for condemnation, for intervention and for empathy for the victims of this barbarism.

Twueh!! I spit on this barbarism!

Any gaddem inlaw caught subjecting a grieving wife and mother to such dirty, degaradation should be shipped off to Sambisa.

Shame on Chimamanda and Linda Ikeji and Ezekwesili, they have power of media and are using it wrongly.

My heart and love goes to all women that have had to endure such cave age cultural barbarism.

Explorers:
What's that curved track?
...and it is uniform in guage.

Whatever that track is has clue to something on that ground.

When you dig ground the loose dirt sinks back in and you have to scoop and throw it to surface to get depth into the ground. Similarly when the ground blows up loose dirt and sand fills back in as the side walls collapse. So the bottom we are looking at here is not the true bottom of the crater....we are looking at loose dirt that filled back in. Is something buried under that loose dirt that could serve as clue to piece together the puzzle?
Politics › Re: Aerial Pictures Of Akure Explosion by MetaPhysical: 4:55am On Mar 29, 2020
We must use law of physics to analyze the crater, regardless of the blast agent that caused it.

Back when America was fighting in Fallujah and the insurgents were using IEDs there were similar craters of lesser scale but resulting from explosives buried into the ground with heat and vibration sensors placed on the road surface. A small car can pass over the sensor and not cause a reaction but if a large truck, typical of the American reinforced Armored Vehicles, approach it, the vibration alone could set off the sensor and cause an ERUPTION with upward force that lifts the truck about two storeys up in the air before it freed-drops back to ground and disintegrates.

This crater in Akure shows motive. A pre-arranged deployment. A choreographed act!

When an explosive discharges on the surface, it disperses force in all directions because it is uncontrolled, uncontained and not directed....zero choreography!

Here are questions to ask -
1. Where are debris from the transporting truck. A crater this deep will not leave a truck or trucks in one piece. In fact it cannot be driven out of there because the explosion will also cause a secondary explosion in its fuel tank and burn it down, assuming it remained in one piece, which is impossible.

2. There is a road, and then we see two dark tracks that looks like rails or pipes. It cannot be railway tracks considering the sharp turn angle towards the edge of the crater. What are those tracks?

3. What is the relationship of the damaged buildings to the crater? There is no connection on the ground between the two. If this image was from drone it can be scaled to connect the nearby buildings to the crater. Why has that not been done?

4. The shape of the crater looks like the mouth of a funnel and is uniform around. The bottom-center of the crater is the point from which the energy force distributed out. The force went off from a subterranean core and erupted upward and outward, exhuming soil.

5. An explosion from surface down into the ground penetrates a hole...not a funnel!

There is a bigger and hidden agenda than the police have owned up to. Now, since the police acted as the mouthpiece for this agenda....they must also account for why their story is not supported by the physics and character of the crater.

I was 26 when my dad passed. My elder bro was 28. Immediately my dad's siblings wanted to bundle my mum to the village. We almost beat them up... Na God save them from our hands.
When we went to the village for the burial, they had arranged all sort of wickedness for my mum and mobilized the village youths to fight us the children if we resisted.
They were more than us but we held our ground o. Some of us were fighting while some of our friends protected my mum and others guarded the casket.
After hours of fighting, the elders summoned both parties. To cut the story short, the eldest man was the only one who spoke in our favor and his opinion is the only one that counts. We buried my dad without any rites. Even the food and drinks went back with us as the defeated crowd refused to come near us.
The spiritual battles that followed was horrendous but we overcame
Today we are outcast in the family, even my cousin got wedded a couple of weeks ago, I only saw the pics on Facebook.
But no one cares, we survived, my mum is Hale and hearty and we defeated the fucking tradition
Very good!

If they face more resistance like yours im sure with time they will get tired and stop subjecting widows and their children to this humiliating practice.

Widows are treated with compassion all over the world. I dont know why its different for Ibo.

This barbarism must stop. Thank you for sharing.

In some cases where the husband has died young, the wife sometimes becomes a suspect in his death and she might be forced to drink the water used in bathing his corpse or lie with his remains to prove her innocence, according to researchers in a 2015 paper published by the International Journal of Humanities and Social Science.
