TV/Movies / Re: Bbnaija All-star: Lagos Agency Slams Seyi Over Comment About Son by MetaPhysical: 8:49pm On Aug 20, 2023 |
What is value of BBNaija to society? It is demeaning, and ought to be scrapped. The acts and utterances is outside of free speech rights. It is attack on morality. I dont know why govt allow immoral to stand as a model of behaviour for young Nigerians. 1 Like 1 Share |

ambu2: Its hard to see him. This is PDP congregation, and he is sidelined here, unlike the APC gathering in North where he was a prop for show of unity. PDP politicians are upset with him, but ones in APC love him. Anyway, happy matrimony to the beautiful couple. |

“You can see that even Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and his people are here; this tells you that Nigeria will remain united as one entity,” he said. Peter Obi was used as a prop in this photo. No wonder they gathered around him to grin in his face. |

Family / Re: Sleeping Positions: Mom & Dad's,what's Your Experience? by MetaPhysical: 8:47pm On Aug 17, 2023 |
reservd: In the womb they do opposite. They curl up, but the umbilical is their trainer in the womb. It soothes them and also teaches them to move limbs. This is when the mother feels kicks. This exercise is essential for their pre and post birth. They use all four limbs to interact with cord. If a child fails to respond to the cord it could result in that limb loosing functionality permanently. Pregnancy and birth is a very delicate and risky stage of life. Also, all mothers trip and fall during pregnancy. Some may be lucky and not hit the ground, but they all trip. That is also a cause and effect intended for the baby in the womb. 1 Like |

This is normal. Between 2 and 10months, sometimes even later than that, babies stretch (not raise) arms while asleep. This is their neurons doing that, and it should not be cause for concern. The neurons is training muscles and motors in the physiological body to limitations with limb movements. Very soon this girl will begin sitting and starts to rock herself. That's another training to strengthen spine and hips. So whatever kinetic motions a baby will do before it arrives at that stage and milestone the body unfolds its innate energy to accommodate limitations for that movements, and that's all baby is doing here. She will crawl. If you notice her hand is stretched to that limit and angle. Her own natural clock is training her. |

absoluteSuccess: Good day bro! Mo yo fun e, mo yo fun ara mi! When I try to stay away from here you always deploy something to return me. . Not that I complain. Reading you is a mental therapy. . God continue to bless and make your ways easy and profitable. In networking technology there is a function called packet sniffing. You have billions of packets going through a tunnel and you are looking for a particular data stream. To find it you do what is called "tcp dump". It is a filtering process to deep dive and extract what you need from the multitude. Another way I will explain it is taking a chaotic information, descramble it, then reassemble it, and recompose before presenting in a new format where it is clear to an audience. In its original form it is useless to the audience. As the agent of clarity you have produced value, and an outcome. I see your "dump" as exactly that function of value and outcome. Once more, may the Almighty bless you all days of your life. Coming to this subject, I cannot dispute all you wrote here and generally in the series. I have always viewed "wo" as a threshold. That point where input and outcomes tilt one way or another. A line of equity as you said....or balance as you illustrated with the symbol of Lady Liberty and her scales. "wo" is the function of DOs and DONTs. It is the rulebook of social interaction and balance in the total ecology of living and non-living. I mentioned in one of our earlier lengthy threads that AWO is the Yoruba equivalent of LAW in English. In which case, Babalawo is Lady Liberty, overseeing the threshold of DOs and DONTs. I will shut up here. You have done a fantsastic job highlighting this subject. I love you man! 2 Likes 1 Share |

iSense247: Tinubu is allowed to deploy soldiers without congressional approval. It is illiterates that misinformed the public and fed lies that President is not allowed to deploy Same unpatriotic citizens also fed falsehood that Nigeria is going to fight Niger. The President has always said Ecowas will push diplomacy and reserved option of force if needed. Plain English! But illiterates twisted it into something it is not and people in Niger panicked. Tinubu is not sending anyone to war, infact there is not going to be a war. |

udomonday: A serious government looks for ways to create value. If a government invests in real estate it will either be given free or at subsidized rate, and it looses opportunity to generate revenue. If private investors develop real estate they come under regulation which is licensing and an income to govt. They also pay tax on their earnings and profits. What state government are you from? |

Napata77: If you are very familiar with Lagos, Allen Avenue is less of a commercially attractive district than few other places on Lagos Island or even on Mainland that could benefit from such plan. Moreover, govt is only a facilitator for municipal devt plan...it is actually private sector that builds and raise the real estate value in a district. 11 Likes 3 Shares |
Politics / Re: What Happens If Putin Supports Biafra's Exit? by MetaPhysical: 8:13am On Aug 13, 2023 |
Superpowers fight to dominate energy. If they need it they fight to dominate its control. If they dont need it, they still fight to deny their opponent access to it. Niger has oil and uranium for energy. Geospatially, it sits at a cross point that makes it an ideal spot for discreet and stealth military clandestine operations simultaneously across four continents. Niger is an asset for modern political and military strategies. Biafra has gas but this is carbon based, of no use for modern nuclear energy demands. Zero defense shield against attacks. Russia supporting Biafra will be just a charity, not an investment. |

001Lagos: Yoruba has been using agbo in our homeland for centuries with no problem. We will continue its use into future. Its healing and immuno benefits are without doubt an essential tonic for the body. The creation and distribution is derived through family guilds of Yoruba alchemists. The problem with agbo in Iboland is that Ibos copied the Yoruba model from SW strictly for profit making. Lack of knowledge in what compounds and minerals to brew and extract for the tonics has resulted in abuse and fake products. People in iboland are drinking poison brewed and hawked by their fellow ibos to mimick agbo. Government intervention is timely. 1 Like |
