She has consistently raised awareness of issues that she believed Africa was lacking on a global scale. Or is the EU representative also Ibo? The EU statement on the elections highlights the fact that they were heavily rigged. Was the election heavily rigged, or not, should be your genuine self-examination. Was Tinubu found guilty of trafficking drugs or not? If he is, that completely disqualifies him from running for the nation's top office.

Regardless of our political views, we need to be able to be honest with ourselves.

I was once a fervent admirer of ASIWAJU, but I can't deny that he is a convicted drug lord with a lot of unanswered questions. For a nation like Nigeria, electing a notorious drug lord sets a poor example. Repentant book-haram, robbers, and convicted fraudsters (as is already the case with the governor of Ogun state) will soon be running for political office, and all they need is money and violence. Nigeria would perish if we allow people of this caliber to get into office.

You're referring to the US. lol. If you are convicted of even the tiniest offense in the US, it will be impossible for you to find employment, let alone pursue the highest office in the land.

Election was not rigged. Your belief that Obi won came from churches who anointed him as God's chosen, and voodoo polls that said Obi is leading in North and middlebelt.

When results showed that God chosed Tinubu you all rejected it and questioned why God will chose muslim-muslim ticket over christian candidate. You set yourself up for this dissapointment. You made it a divine call. God has chosen Tinubu. Abi you want to say God rigged election?

Anne Giwa-Amu, writer of 'Sade' claims her original manuscript was revised without her consent by Achebe and Chimamanda Adiche to form another novel 'Half of a Yellow Sun' Adiche now takes credit for.. she raised valid points in her claims and wondered how Chimamanda who wasn't even born during the war had so much to write about it.
You should look up her claims and videos and the weak defense Adiche put up in response.

Thanks much for this info. I will dig into it.

You mean a PhD holder has no say in what a common storybook writer cum plagiarist Chimamanda Adiche wrote?... the useless Adiche didn't even take part in the elections but feels opinionated about the outcome.

Igbos don't seen to realize that Yorubas are not northerners that will keep quiet while they push false narratives around.. likes of Adiche would be disgraced and all her secrets exposed. She is yet to respond to the allegations of theft against her.. how Achebe stole someone else's work for Adiche

Ibos have always stolen glories belonging to others. Achebe and one Elizabeth Acholonu were the culprits behind copying glories alien to ibo and stamping it as ibo past. There are many lines on cultural and ancestral Yoruba they forged and moderated to relabel as Ibo culture and tradition. If you ask for etymology behind certain symbols they have zero clue. Because they stole it from elsewhere.

Tell me more about this work Achebe stole for Adichie.

She never said to take action; instead, she stressed the need for the US to refrain from validating a flawed process. Since the US is the custodian of democracy, it is improper for them to support an undemocratic process.

The custodian of democracy showed two years ago on live broadcast that the electoral process is imperfect. The now sitting president was then the president-elect and was almost denied his victory. He has first hand experience how flawed the electoral process in America is. Nigeria is not an exception.

Even if your argument were to be taken on face value, it still insane of her for poking nose into a political process she has disowned and refused to honor.

Is this not on same line of insanity she displayed few years ago instructing Hillary Clinton about her domestic role?

As Professor Ayo said, and I agree, this girl's ego is over bloated. She needs to be given political education that elections win victories, not polls. She thinks of herself a diva by world standard, but in reality she is just a candidate for black representation on world stage.

It has come to my attention that Prof. Yemi Oke sent a letter denigrating a renowned Chimamanda Adichie's opinionated letter regarding the Nigerian elections and the legitimacy of the Tinubu administration. It's simple for him to say that, and unlike Nobel laureate Profressor, he is an active supporter of the APC and was running for senator in Ogun State under the APC, so you wouldn't expect anything less from him. He and his likes (The Nobel laureate professor) are just another FFK with a Doctorate.

Chimamanda is insane for writing head of another government to take action against the government of Nigeria because polls said Obi will win, but after election Tinubu was winner.

Elections determine electoral victory, not polls.

She deserve to be denigrated. I dont care how important she is in literary circles, we have Nigerians that have achieved far better than her, and are incognito. Tell Ngozi Adichie to not end up frustrated and disillusioned like her mentor late Achebe.

Health / Re: FG To Build 15 Psychiatric Outposts In South East by MetaPhysical: 11:46pm On Apr 09, 2023
ArewaNorth:
The Federal Government is poised to enhance mental health in the South East with the establishment of 15 outposts in the five states of the zone.

Medical Director of the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Enugu, Monday Igwe, disclosed this at a press briefing shortly after he resumed office following his re-appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term of four years.

He explained the outposts would be located in each of the senatorial districts, noting that the essence was to make access to mental health services easier for the people of the zone.

He disclosed nine out of the 15 proposed outposts had been completed and equipped and would be operational soonest with ambulances readily available to convey patients to Enugu in major cases.

Igwe said: “This hospital is the only psychiatric facility in the entire South East region. It is also the only facility that is made to train doctors and nurses in psychiatry. It is also the only facility that offers research in terms of mental health in the South East. It is also our mandate to give clinical services to people that have mental illnesses.

“The hospital also is available for the people of South South and some parts of North Central region of the country. So, if we don’t do well, we will be leaving Nigerians to suffer. That’s why we want to make this place to be the best and centre of excellence in mental health practice.

“There are a number of ways to actualise this. Since many people live very far away from Enugu State, we want to make sure our 15 newly built outposts in South East are operational.

“We have ensured each of the 15 senatorial districts in the South East has one outpost. We have successfully completed and equipped nine of the outposts while the rest are still ongoing.

“Those ones we have completed are going to be activated. We are going to post our staff there.”

The medical director received a rousing welcome from staff of the hospital, where he thanked the president for finding him worthy of another tenure in office.

Igwe took over a fractured health institution four years ago and has made efforts to restore the lost glory of the hospital.

Politics / Re: Did Wole Soyinka Betray Other Africans Just To Get The Nobel Price. by MetaPhysical: 11:38pm On Apr 09, 2023
Yugoslavia247:
Please prof of history Help me

In 1986, when African writers decided to boycott the Nobel Prize for the apparent discrimination from the Royal Academy (up until then, no African was considered good enough for the prize), Soyinka showed up as a betrayer of the African collective cause and got the award

.....Soyinka might have a Nobel Prize, but that is not surely a comment on his social value as a writer. Even Abdulrazak Gurnah who was awarded the prize in 2021 said he thought it was a joke. Nobody knew him and he knew he did not deserve it.

In contrast, Ngugi wa Thiong'O has consistently been ignored by the Royal Academy, even though everyone in the literary field knows he is supposed to have long won it on merit. To put things in perspective, he taught Gurnah way back, and has taught many other greats

Ngugi's sin is that he would never bend to the Western ideologies, and he has canvassed on different occasions for African writers and indeed, writers from the Orient, to develop literature in their languages, instead of enriching metropolitan languages.

The West hates people like Ngugi, and can never reward them with their treasured literary prizes like the Nobel. To be an African writer deserving of the award, you have to have no hurtful opinion about the West. It is basically politics by the institutions of World Lit.
Achebe cut the perfect figure for the prize, and it was not surprising that he got it in 1986. Canonised writers like Achebe who took on Greene and Conrad could not have been rewarded for questioning the jaundiced representation of Africans in Western literature

This is senseless, barbaric, insensitive and archaic to the least. If you don't know you're trying to fan the ember of tribalism, sectionalism and even racism with people of same sovereign nation. Please what kind human being are you?

My kind advise to you, is for you to stop this madness because it is against any known law and customs in Nigeria. Intermarriage is constitutionally recognized by law and often encouraged but now using it as a tool of political gymnastics is what I don't know. Desist forthwith.

Those who did not think it would ever be a problem are regretting now, and wishing they had approached it differently. Tinubu is one of such people. He failed to address the ibo invasion problem when flags were raised.

LegendHero:
Prof is a committed democrat who understood that in a democracy, you have to build the bridges and win a nationally contested election to be president.

Peter Obi the religious bigot believed he can win election with only Christian votes and he waged religious war polarizing pastors to use their sacred altar for propaganda. He even went all the way to tell Bishop Oyedepo what propaganda to push on a certain day especially when you know the Bishop got thousands or millions of adherents.

Even Tinubu who chose a Muslim-Muslim ticket still appeal to the Christians and had to go all the way to CAN headquarters to explain himself.

There might be an Ibo president in the future, but it won’t be Obi because he already killed his chances by himself. I tip Prof. Soludo in that regard.

My dear brother. I respect Prof but not that dearly to submit Yoruba under an Ibo rulership. Any Ibo that wants to become president must first enter into a sealed agreement that he will not be conferred with the title commander in chief. This means his security chiefs are appointed for him, and they will not report directly to him. Also, Senate President and House Speaker positions, SE will be excluded from eligibility.

What Prof is saying is we have been unfair to Ibo. Quite contrary.

Look on the landscape for a minute, and it is easy to see Yorubaland is very vulnerable.

Two and half years ago, 2020, in the election leading to Akeredolu's second term in Ondo. Adeyinka Grandson made a taped recording and asked if Ondo people were not appalled that their first lady was an Ibo. He inferred that it is an abnormality, and such will never be allowed in Iboland. So the options in Ondo would be to abandon Akeredolu for Eyitayo Jegede, the PDP candidate. It was realized Jegede's wife is also from Cross River, or Akwa Ibom. This is Ondo, not Lagos o.

Go to Oyo, same story. Their past governor Ajimobi was married to indigenized Lebanese. He was succeeded by Seyi Makinde, whose wife is from Rivers.

Presently in Osun, there are two first ladies, Titilola Adeleke, and Ngozi Adeleke. Ile-Ife, the sacred Yoruba city is in Osun State. The governor gives Ooni staff of office. If Ngozi calls a meeting to address wives of Obas in Osun, the wife of Ooni must attend and address Ngozi with protocol. This is not Lagos o, na Osun.

So, is it any wonder that another Ibo woman, Ify came very close to becoming a first lady in Lagos?

If that had happened -
Osun first lady -Ibo
Oyo first lady - Ijaw/Okrika
Ondo first lady - Ibo
Lagos first lady - Ibo
Ogun first lady - Yoruba
Ekiti first lady - Yoruba

But because CGV did not succeed in Lagos, the true picture is below.

Osun first lady -Ibo
Oyo first lady - Ijaw/Okrika
Ondo first lady - Ibo
Lagos first lady - Ibo Yoruba
Ogun first lady - Yoruba
Ekiti first lady - Yoruba

In SE, how many Yoruba first ladies are there?
In SS, how many Yoruba first ladies are there?

But professor say we need to be fair to SE.

Ok, let's show how SE has been fair to others.
First lady of Ondo, Betty Akeredolu wanted to run for Senate, so she went home to Imo. Her people rejected her, told her she is married to Yoruba, and to go represent Yoruba people.

Professor Soyinka is on the border of becoming a nuisance on Yoruba issues.

When someone like Betty Akeredolu cannot run for election in her native home because of marriage to Yoruba, how about her children, would they ever be eligible to contest election in SE, or would full blooded Yoruba have to step aside so half-breeds can rule over us?

What is future of Yoruba women in Yorubaland, dont they deserve to wear the crown of first lady, why are we displacing them with our votes? We fail to reflect because our ethos have been exploited by leaders like Soyinka, Obasanjo, Adebanjo...each of them with in-laws in Iboland. It is in their interest that their half-breed grandchildren become somebody in future and make name. The way to assure that is beg full blood Yoruba to yield to Ibo.

Let CGV serve as lessons learnt. Let also the crowning of foreigners as first ladies in Yorubaland serve as eye opener.

Yoruba women Lokan!

Spread this message.

I have never discussed or encouraged anyone to undermine the Nigerian state; I have never sponsored or preached any action against the Nigerian state. Those initiating these actions have increasingly used their official positions and agents to make false allegations against me.

I am on record as always, advocating for peace and issue-based campaign and never campaigned based on ethnicity or religion. I am committed to due process, and presently seeking redress in the Court.

Politics / Re: NCC Denies Leaking Peter Obi's Phone Conversation With Oyedepo by MetaPhysical: 9:11pm On Apr 04, 2023
In order to sniff and record conversation in remote mode certain things need to happen, and this is assuming the conversation occured over smart phone. If one or both parties used landline to make call the variables change.

In Nigeria, the most secured way to make discreet calls is via landline, best if using analog.

Sniffing a call involve what is termed "tcpdump", or "packet capture". Sometimes also called "packet sniffing".

Follow me here and learn.

1. All calls over carrier network happen via IP addressing and mobile number.
2. Your mobile number is flexible and can be changed at will. Same with your SIM, can be changed in few seconds...Your phone hardware has a number called mac ID, and cannot be changed. In actuality, a mac ID can be changed, but for security purpose we will say it is permanent.

When sniffing phone call or data trace, you can access and pull packets of the call, proactively or reactively. Certain application tools are used to pull Headers, and if the call authentication is not encrypted you can access call files. After this you will need another tool, a synthesizer, to interprete the data to audio so you can hear the conversation.

So if a person is tracked, then very likely a sniffer has already been setup and is very much easier to decrypt their conversation.

If the data retrieval is reactive...in other words, a call that happened last week but I did not have a sniffer setup ahead. Then it is still possible, but much tedious.

The order of trace is to first find the mobile number or known IP address. After that, confirm the macID of device. Then query call sessions on the carrier network and pray that you find it. If you find the headers, and a udp file is there, then you can retrieve the call for listening.

Same for data. In case of data you will be looking in tcp files but scoping for data extensions. If you need picture you search for .jpeg or .png. . For movies you look for .mpeg. . For websites visited you look for .html.

This story says NCC obtained and leaked the voice note. First of all, why is a politician making discreet calls on smart phone? Thats top of stupidity. I can retrieve Obi calls if I know his number and sim ID, and have money to invest on sniffing tools. Obi should be blamed for making such calls on smart phones. Use smart phones to make calls you can defend if leaked. Any call you dont want in public, use satellite or analog phones.

Tinubu's strategy was not about winning states. You will observe he didn't care about big trophies, he aimed for 25% or more in every state. In most states he ended up with highest percentage votes, in others he got single digits, but overall accomplished a greater distribution of 25% to satisfy statutory requirement ahead of his opponents.

The strategy Tinubu used is spectacular, and focused politicians will begin copying to secure victory in elections.

Bishop Oyedepo: Amen! Amen! We look forward to God’s intervention.

Peter Obi: Thank you, Daddy, I need you to speak to your people in South West and Kwara, the Christians in South West and Kwara, this is a religious war.

Bishop Oyedepo: I believe that… I believe that… I believe that… You know I did a release ‘Nigeria Going Forward’ and I am coming with the second one today. I wanted it out when they won’t have any time to do damage control. But in the name of Jesus this would be a success. You know what I said in today’s own? A sickling nation like Nigeria will require a strong and healthy personality. I said anyone whose source of wealth could not be verified should not have access to governance. So all we are doing is appealing to the conscience of people to know where to go. But I want to assure you, in the name of Jesus, that the result will be favourable.

Peter Obi: Thank you Daddy.

Politics / Ibo In Yorubaland, Political Analysis. Part I by MetaPhysical: 7:17am On Apr 03, 2023
YOKE - a link or bridge that connects two independent things that work in unity to produce a gainful outcome.

Popularly used in farms to tie two animals across from one another, as the animals move in unity they produce rotation on a drum connected to grindstones used for milling grains. Other uses include drawing water from well to irrigate crops, or to crush and juice fruits.

Used in phrase -
They do not yoke together.

When things do not yoke together it means in combination they are counter to one another's effectiveness and their disharmony produces an outcome which is injurious to them individually and a loss to their purpose together.

So things the do not yoke together, must not be combined. But if you do, expect a continuous disharmony, distress and disaffection between them. You will need balancers to occasionally step in and intervene to discourage destruction.

In several pieces of enlightenment notes I have written and shared on the purpose of creation and balance of energy, I said God Almighty created universe in pairs of opposite energies. Paired opposites, or paradox effects. What are they? They are malevolent energies. Anything malevolent is a barrier to harmony and peace. So as a means of surviving the force and overcoming these barriers, humans need intercessors to calm the energies. The calming, or soothing relief is what is called benevolence.

In ancestral Yoruba traditions, Omoluabi is an intercessor. Omoluabi translates in English to righteousness. Those who acknowledge the path and practice righteousness we call Omoluabi, or Yoruba.

Does Yoruba yoke with Ibo?

No we do not.

Yoruba and Ibo do not yoke together. There is a natural disharmony and our effects act in counter to each other's purpose. This did not just start in 2023. It was there before Nigeria was assembled, it has remained there since, will never go away. Because two disharmonious groups were combined in a single purpose, from time to time malevolent energy will flare up and intercessor, or intervention is needed to de-escalate so to avoid destruction.

In the disharmony, Yoruba has been the interceding agent. Yoruba has yielded and ceded grounds to please Ibo to avoid destruction. If Yoruba were to ever fail to yield and cede grounds, Ibo on its part, must yield and cede the grounds it gained in past. Doing such is unthinkable for Ibo, therefore two outcomes are possible -

1. A plutonic energy forcing imminent and unavoidable destruction.

2. End the combination that tied Yoruba and Ibo together when one or both exit Nigeria.

Part II to come in few days.
