@expertman...I feel ur pain bro. Same thing happened to me wen i was trading forex. I was a fund manager and things were going on smoothly until........I had no choice dan to return dere initial investments. It was pretty rough though but i scaled thru. Lesson is dis...DONT ever do online business with peoples funds. Every hand is a winner every hand is a loser in this game so be prepared for the aftermath.

dasparrow: @Post

Na wa o! Good job NDLEA and the wonderful canine narcotic detectives. On a side note, I hope Nigeria does not become a drug addicted country like America oh! You have no idea what drug addiction is costing Americans. It has destroyed families, taken the lives of people of all age groups, destroyed marriages/relationships, left children in foster care or with grandparents because their drug addicted mothers could not take care of them and much more. I know many Nigerians like to copy-copy everything from the western world be it the good part of their culture or the bad part of their culture. If our youths get introduced into the habit of drugs use, then I shudder what will become of us as a people.
i think Mexico is worse

Michky: Anytime anyone intends to sell me any product, it's better to leave pastor, religion or God out of it because that's my own way of easy fraud identification. For example, take another look at zion's spam posts on this thread, you'll notice that he ends them with GOD BLESS YOU. That to me is the definition of manipulation. As for Harry being a pastor and a sincere punter is another issue entirely. I believe (if am speaking his mind) what blink tried to point out there was the guy's ploy to use religion to send his message across, which is mere manipulation and petty theifery. Plus, if zion must advertize, let him take a slot on any of nairaland's empty ad spaces. I rest my case.
...Ok bro...I totally understand you.
BusinessRememberance..steve Jobs Remains Larger Than Life... A Year After His Passing, by methodman(op): 3:55pm On Oct 05, 2012
If we had a dollar for every time we've heard or read, "Steve Jobs never would have ..." (fill in the blank) in the past year, we might be able to afford a share of Apple stock. Maybe two.

In the year since the company's co-founder died, his name has never been invoked so often by so many who think they know what Jobs would or wouldn't do or approve, from releasing a not-fully-baked Apple Maps app to waiting six weeks to patch a large security hole. The practice is almost as arrogant and self-righteous as Jobs was. But it keeps his name alive, as if he's still part of the conversation.

And he is. Our fascination with the man described as a modern-day Thomas Edison by New Yorker writer Ken Auletta has not ebbed; if anything, it's grown larger with his passing, all too soon, at age 56.

On Friday, Apple paid tribute to Jobs on the front page of apple.com with a touching video montage of photos and sound bites.

"I hope that today everyone will reflect on his extraordinary life and the many ways he made the world a better place," CEO Tim Cook wrote of his former boss and mentor.

And as people continue to reflect on the life of Steve Jobs, their biggest challenge will be narrowing down the many ways to do so.

"Steve Jobs," Walter Isaacson's biography, hurried into print after Jobs died, became a best-selling book, the No. 1 book of 2011 on Amazon.com. Even now, the book is on Amazon's top 20 list for 2012 — in hardcover.

On Thursday, St. Martin's Press told the New York Times it has acquired the rights to a memoir by Chrisann Brennan, Jobs' high school girlfriend and mother of his daughter, oldest child, Lisa. The book is to be published next year.

At least two movies are in the works; one by an independent studio will star Ashton Kutcher as the mercurial CEO; another movie, based on Isaacson's biography, will be done by Sony Pictures, with a screenplay by "The Social Network" scribe (and "West Wing" creator) Aaron Sorkin.

Comic books about Jobs are popping up everywhere but efforts to create a Steve Jobs action figure have been squashed by Apple on several occasions.

Science/TechnologyRe: Wande Adalemo - From University Dropout To ICT Millionaire by methodman(m): 12:08pm On Sep 25, 2012
lagbaja: I was fascinated when i read the story of Wande this morning. I was particularly curios about his $2m investment claim, the company's claim of net-worth of N1billion and the customer base of 20,000 subscribers. I quickly set out to investigate the story and to learn from their practice.I went to the computer village and made enquiries about the company. Not so many people knew about them. eventually, i was directed to one of the vendors that sells their voucher. I asked to buy a voucher, he told me the different product offers, i settled for the N200 voucher. he said i could not use it until I register, however the person to register me was not around. i offered to go to the company's head office to do my registration. he gave me a flier that bears the head office address. before leaving i asked him how many such vendors like him existed for the oxygen network, he estimated it to be about 20. i also asked how much his daily sales is, he said it was between N1k and 2k. By implication, the total sales within the computer village for 26 days by 20 voucher resellers and at an average sales of 2k per reseller will be about N1m. i eventually locate the company. The company was situated in a small shop on 12 Francis Oremeji st. They share office with another small company called Jolasons Nigeria Limited. the company does not in any way reflect a N2m sales company talk less of a N1billion worth. I met 2 staff eating ice and beans in the office. the office is barely empty with no signs of activity. i asked to register for their service. he directed me t go and look for vendors around. so much for a N1billion Naira company grin grin grin grin

The lesson in all of this is that you should look before you leap. secondly , don't believe all that you read in the papers, particularly punch. you can achieve your dreams and attain greatness, but dont build on weak foundations.
You are very wrong bro. U dont need to judge a book by its cover. I know of a company in Lagos that has a small office yet the average daily turn over profit is like N250k. You know as Naija environment be na. If u wan show off den dont be surprised wen dem visit ur office or even kidnap u sef. U better wise up
