Sometimes last year I said Rashford is another Welbeck and someone here kicked saying I didn't know what I was saying.

At this rate, Welbeck could be said to be better than Rash. Hopefully Rashford would pick up some form later.

Elanga is quite young, we need not place too much weight on his shoulders...Cavani is injury prone now. That leaves us with Rashford, Ronaldo and a Sancho who is still finding his feet...

Lingard to Newcastle is gathering steam. We look short for options in attack all of a sudden.

We could say we are in form presently and it's the best time to pick up a good form. I think the best thing that has happened is that he has been able to figure out the best tactics and it seems the players love and are able to operate in that formation. What this means is that he doesn't need to do any trial and error anymore and like you pointed out, he's finally in control.

Hopefully our attacking players start creating more chances and the strikers can be more clinical.

A very good tactical input from Ralph yesterday. I have criticized him a few times but he got it really right yesterday.

He went right for it by bringing in more attackers for midfielders. I was actually puzzled when he took off Fred but it worked eventually.

I'm so glad that I did not watch the match. I did what I had never done before- waited for the match and I switched off the TV immediately they came out of the tunnel. I went upstairs and decided to watch movies in the bedroom.

I had that feeling that it was not going to go well, especially with players he used. I was so sure Greenwood and Bruno (again) were not going to perform well in those positions. The less we talk of Rashford the better.

We have been struggling to score goals under Ralph and similar to what someone has noted, I would expect him to play to the strength of the players and not trying to implement drastic and novel changes, especially when there's a lot of catching up to do.

I really fear for us!

Yea I have been in there. Took my son in about 4years ago. It's actually nice but the lions were lazy that day. They were up there and we couldn't see them much but it was a nice outing.

Rashford started out as a fantastic player with lots of potential about all aspects of his game- passes, technique, creativity, team play, finishing, positioning, etc.

But somewhere along the way, he decided to focus on scoring goals alone - to the detriment of his other attributes.

Since he took that decision, all other aspects of his game has become horrible.

You are right. Sometimes last year I referred to Rashford as Welbeck 2.0 and someone here kicked against it. He definitely lost it even before last season. Yea there are always those spectacular displays here and there but he is lost. Now he is all about dribbling like an headless chicken especially with him not raising his head up.

It was all about his output before but now.....

We now have Bruno trying to find him everytime with passes. Telles and Dalot also doing the same.

Telles and Dalot mostly cross into the box and Ronaldo is the only player out of the 4 attacking players in the 4-2-2 formation who is good with his head. I think that's the reason they target him. Moreover he's the main striker.

I think the team is not balanced... so many players but it doesn't seem like there's enough balance.

I agree, but like I said, you can't blame their poor performances on the formation when they have been playing so badly even before the new manager was introduced. We could say Rashford has just come back from an injury but Bruno?

I like Bruno but he has been so poor this season even before the new formation. Hopefully he will pick up somehow.

Please do not mention Mata... he's done. Whoever must play that position must be mobile and intelligent.

I noted it during the match against Crystal Park that for this system to work, Bruno and Rashford will wdefinitely have to improve. They were poor again yesterday and like I told Nitrogen, it's not entirely the system that is affecting them because they have been poor even during OLE.

I really wanna see a combination of Ronaldo and Cavani. On paper, it will be more deadly. Yesterday Ronaldo played mostly facing our goal-post and couldn't make moves off the shoulders of defenders.

For most part of the first half, our full-backs were pressed back. Most teams will adopt that because they are our major source of control and attack, especially with Bruno so poor. Sancho wasn't great either.

The manager needs to do some tweaking and should be alittle bit flexible with the system. Failure to do that will cause us to play like yesterday in many matches.

I would advise Ralph to avoid any interviews for now, if possible. A lot of people will now start observing keenly now, including myself. From the start of this match, I couldn't see any Ghen-Ghen...

The talks must match the performances...... Its too early but this match has raised so many eyebrows

This 4-2-2 needs very technical players. Not sure our midfielders are good enough especially with Bruno bring way poff form.
