You are absolutely right. Both the manager and the board are not ready to win the league. They are comfortable with just a top four finish. It's actually quite obvious.

It's just a shame really

So many wrong decisions by OLE that will backfire. I do not think OLE planned to buy a midfielder. I think they were just window-shopping to see players they could buy if Pogba had left. That leaves a big question mark on OLE's managerial competence... does it mean he thinks a DM midfield of Matic/MacFred will be enough to win a league. In my opinion, i do not think the target is to win the league.

Another question I have is that are they waiting for the end of this season to release Matic, Mata and Jones. If Pogba and Cavani leaves, that will be five experienced players leaving. Surely that will affect the balance of the team even if good players are bought. In my opinion, that's also wrong. I would think some of those players would have been offloaded and replaced by now while others are left till the end of this current season in order to create a gradual but consistent change in personnel. The way I see it, we will never leave this "building phase" under OLE.

OLE's managerial competence is the same with AWB's attacking displays. You just do not understand it.

Our major problem is that midfield and OLE seems clueless on how to make it work even after so many years as our manager. I only watched the last 30mins and i was asking myself if I was watching last season's match. It seems he's using a trial and error approach in terms of putting the team together.

I really doubt he will get it right even if or when they buy a better midfielder. Fred and Sauce are not good enough for us but they are not as bad as Ole's set up has made them look.

Rashford is yet to have his surgery done and now we are hearing he has a foot injury...Did the club just know this? No, they have been on the know since yet Cavani for some reason was granted an extended holiday which means he'll most likely be unavailable against Leeds...

I can't believe the club is banking on Martial who has not played a competitive game in months...All these should have been factored in when they scheduled breaks for the players...

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that's not impressed with this transfer window. It just seems like a step forward and two steps backward.

If all the elections are conducted in a day, then the state assembly won't receive reasonable votes all over as most of the voters are more interested in presidency and governorship election

FYI, I'm not Igbo at all. I'm from Ogun state and Omo Egba paraku ni mi but I just want us to be logical in the way we treat all these politicians. ALL OF THEM ARE THE SAME. Tinubu, Orji, Pastor Oshibajo, Buhari, Atiku, GEJ.... all of them are the same. All they do is to instigate some forms of disagreements amongst us for them to have their own way. We as the masses should fight for ourselves and not those bloody politicians.

As for your reasons and opinions, they are valid. In my opinion, that thief's opinion is not completely wrong too. We just need to bring all the ideas to the table and compare the pros and the cons...

When we were asking that we conclude deals early enough so the new players can be part of the preseason, it was like we were impatient...

We should have closed out most of the deals by now and have the players properly integrated with the rest of the team before the season starts proper...

I quite agree. Somehow it is starting to seem like we are not going forward nor backward. The Sancho deal will not help in anyway if we do not bring in the right personnel. As long as we do not become worse off after the TW.

Our transfer window is starting to look like "the more you look, the less you see". Hopefully everything will be sorted out soon but I fear a situation where the good business transactions we end up doing might not be strong enough to cover up for the evident inadequacies that might not be covered up.

I used to comment on this group until I got tired of how the team was and still being managed. I did say in one of my comments that MUFC is being managed similarly to how Nigeria has always been managed. We all know the truth... we know Ole is not good enough... We know that he has reached his peak in terms of team performance but we still hang on to some fake, delusional and ridiculous faith that he will turn things around.

I have been able to have some peace of mind since I stopped worrying about this team.

He has been sick for quite a while now always coughing and not breathing properly .

Last night he couldn't close his shop and couldn't walk so he called me to help him get home. I had to chatter a bike and I took him home.

This Morning by 5am his wife called that his situation has gotten worse. I went again and I had to take him to the hospital this time he can't even breath ...

Now his result is out and he has been confirmed covid patient..

I am not coughing yet and I don't feel any bad.

Please relax. My woman who I stay in the same bed had Corvid In July and she was in ICU for a month. She couldn’t breathe at all and we had to call the ambulance who advised her to go into the bathroom, open the hot water tap in the bathtub and add some Vicks menthol into the water so as to engage the lungs till they arrive. Even after a month when she was discharged she struggled to breathe for a while. We invested in personal humidifier. She actually coded twice in ICU but miraculously came out of it.

I was not feeling anything apart from that feeling of sometimes wanting to clear my throat. A nurse friend advised me to buy Vitamin C supplement that has Zinc and Selenium and I was also having ginger + garlic tea morning and night. Also I was steaming with Aboniki. I went for testing just before she was discharged and I was negative though it was not a comfortable test.


PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE THAT SAYS IT IS MALARIA. That’s just ignorance. Shortly after my woman was discharged for home care, her father contacted it even though we stay in a different province. We are actually 3hours apart. He has been in ICU since then for about three months now. He also didn’t believe in Corona. He passed on late last night, around 22:30 Nigerian time.

With an underlying illness, it sometimes if not most times get worse. To think he was said to be getting better and looking strong in the morning to passing on about 8hours later.

Please be careful. You are at the mercy of other people, especially those ignorant once.

Fridge is not bad, just his recent form seems like he's got a damaged compressor; if you carry am out for any team currently he will still be fouling his teammates so the opponents can score. He needs a time off

You might be right but I think it’s still the structure that he is playing in. He is not even trusting his teammates hence he tries to play out both his teammates and the ball at the same time. He seems to me like someone who is trying to do too much hence the mistakes. He will see Lindelof or Someone else trying to clear a ball or defend a spot and he will rush there to go do the same. His positioning is also a problem. That is a defective way of structuring a team.

We were all happy that smalling was sold yet he did well at Roma... Lukaku has also been doing well. I’m not saying I regret the fact that we sold them but I’m saying that some of our players that seem to be useless will definitely do well in well structured teams

Jokes apart, did you see how those guys have been playing. It might still be early days but they play top teams the same way they play lower rated teams. The only thing they do is to tweak certain areas a little.

What that tells me is that their manager trust in his players and of course trust in his own competence. Not sure about ours.

I do not think the team plays pure counter attack. Our play seems to me like an imitation. You know when you try to imitate the way some other teams play but you do not really understand how to implement it effectively or you do not have what it takes to implement it correctly. The consequence of this is confusion all over the place.
