Apparently the board promised ETH some X amount of transfer budget + all the money received for the sales of players only to start loaning out players.

It sometimes seem to me that our board are of the opinion that every other clubs out there are poorly run as ours. Who will buy nonsense players?

A club that buys players whose valuations are 30million for 80million. A club that rewards poor, unreliable and useless players with high wages and end up not being able to move them on 'cos of their high wages.

I once mentioned on this forum that Trashford reminded me of Welbeck and some people kicked against the statement.

I would like to withdraw the statement and apologize to Welbeck for the disrespect.

If after today, ETH doesn't get to know and concede that these players are not in any way good enough and demand for better players, let him carry his own cross!

Quite shocking. Heads should roll for this but I know it will be swept under the carpet once the transfer window closes. ETH should also take some blame if it's true that he has no alternatives for FDJ.

The lies from the management is mind-blowing. One thing is this, we are going to pay highly, in fees for other players and in many ways, for the ineptitude of the people handling the transfers.

If this is an indication of how Murtough and Arnold will be operating, we should start bracing ourselves. I'm expecting some panic buying soon. I don't really care much about the issue of FDJ but I expect other deals to have been completed by now.

My conclusion still remains that we have very limited transfer funds. It just seems like the owners of the club are tired of investing money into the club.

I'm also worried about the pace of our midfielders in general

I have always reiterated that I'll not take us serious as long as we are parading Martial, Rashford and McTomi as first team players. They should be on the bench rather than being used as starters.

I remember how some people were saying VDB will do well this season after the last match

The guy is not good enough. Yes there will be some few games where he will perform relatively well, just like other pretenders in our attack line.

A broken clock is right twice in a day.

I just hope ETH is not fooled by the goals from Martial and his brother, Rashford. I'm not writing them off entirely but they need to prove it where it matters most (competitive matches) before we can truly say they are back.
