seunmsg: Senate presidency on Ngige's mind. If Igbo's fail to vote him and APC this time around, it is their loss since Akpabio from the south south has already positioned himself for that seat. In politics, you calculate and position yourself for opportunities. Ngige is simply positioning himself for the Senate presidency next year. This one will just be talking anyhow. what have you benefited from Tinubu your leader? Of what benefit will it be for the common masses? What will Igbos gain from him becoming a senator? |

But this his house is fine and spacious. Daura punish poverty by all means.
Saraki has done well for himself and his family. It is time he returns to his place of birth, the United Kingdom.
Nigeria is not ready for a foreign ruler yet. Unfortunately, you will have to keep wailing till forever cos Saraki is your nightmare. Buhari is too old, sick, weak and slow to rule Nigerians. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Was Right; Nigerian Youths Are Lazy. by Metuh: 11:29pm On Aug 20, 2018 |
TheKabal: It appears you a making an attempt to use you mind for your betterment and those around you. However, you still have a very long way to go, and have very little insight into what a "life compass" means or how planning for the long term will always provide ROI for a long time.
Let me be brief about "thinking longterm" and why most youths should rather vote Buhari/Osinbajo for another term.
1. Children are been fed and many youths have testified to benefiting from the policies of the current govt. 2. The farmers are accessing loans and now investing in rice farms have proven to be lucrative. 3. Farmers now access fertilizer for under 6K in the past 10K
These aside; any intelligent young man - would vote Buhari to give Osinbajo a chance at the presidency. Only a fool would assume anybody else besides Osinbajo can assist the youth and not only support them but protect them.
So, when you try to "logically" justify your dislike for Buhari by casting away the positive strides and obvious benefits that will arise from his re-election and eventual "endorsement" of Osinbajo - which he has continued to subtly do over the years; for the Presidency. Think about your future, I mean your real future; where give and take is the bedrock, diligence and commitment are the watch words, improvement of self and society are your guarantors and tolerance is replaced with acceptance.
On an ending note: Laziness has nothing to do with hardwork, smartwork and strategies. Laziness is a chronic symptom of avoiding the road less travelled.
When your rather take a million naira to travel abroad to wash dishes, secure building and become a nanny - that is laziness When you go to your pastor or imam for prayers and night vigil to get a job, yet you can hardly construct an error free sentence or stick to the point in a conversation or argument - that is lazziness.
Nigerian youths are lazy because from childhood, they have been taught that the difficulties and challenges they encounter in life have been or are been orchestrated by some crooked invincible hand. You always look for someone to blame but never yourself. That is the laziness Buhari is talking about. You forgot to tell him the number of lifes lost under this administration within this year alone. Shooting of unarmed Igbos. Killings by herdsmen everywhere. Total disregard for rule of law nko His 97%/5% speech. Shielding of his corrupt party members. Dude it's too much to mention....Buhari should support someone else to take over, he is too sick and old to rule Nigerians. |

gentlegenius: Thanks for reminding me... This forum is a handwork of Seun Osewa, a Nigerian youth. But how often do you see Seun in this forum arguing with others or criticizing/defending politicians? Do you think he doesn't have any interest in politics? Remember I said majority of Nigerian youths are guilty of the symptoms of laziness, I didn't say ALL Nigerian youths. As for my achievements, it will be too boastful to mention here what I have been able to create with my mind. Modesty forbids that. Point of correction, there was a 2015 thread where Seun was seen supporting the election of the president without certificate cos he said its inconsequential. He argues politics sometimes, even his mods do. |

Stop throwing allegations around bros. You are the naive one here who doesn't know that the federal government has authority over the states. Politics › Re: The Suspended Bye-polls In Rivers Shows Its Game Over For Pdp by Metuh: 2:01pm On Aug 20, 2018 |
senatordave1: The saturday bye polls once again proved that apc has made serious inroads into the south south/south east.right from 2016,apc has won many elections in these region and even where they lost managed to poll 25% something pdp cant replicate in the core north.rivers is pdp biggest voting base.since 1999 it has always given pdp the largest votes polling over 95% using federal might and thuggery.but since the tables have turned its no longer possible.apc are even outmatching pdp in rivers in terms of violence and thugs.the new apc chairman is dreaded by rivers pdp. For pdp to have any hope of winning in 2019,they must win rivers by at least 90%.the saturday polls before it was suspended showed apc winning and getting at leastv40% of votes in an acclaimed pdp stronghold.it shows how next year polls will be in rivers.pdp may still likely win but with a narrow margin which will end all hopes of pdp getting back aso rock.other states that pdp also get huge votes from are also delta and akwa ibom.pdp can only win here by 70% highest, they will be no room for incredible allocation and inflation of figures. If pdp poll up to a million in rivers, apc will poll up to 500k votes.it is now impossible for pdp to allocate figures in rivers.in the south south, only bayelsa will apc do badly while apc will fail in enugu and abia but get at least 30% elsewhere.the ss/se are the most educated people in nigeria and also very enlightened therefore its not true that they harbour deep hatred for apc.many dislike pdp.its only an illiterate area that hates blindly though pdp is still stronger than apc here.kwankwaso or tambuwal can resist apc in their states the way apc is doing to pdp in rivers.pdp will be hugely disappointed next year. On a final note, buhari polled 25% of votes in the south while gej an incumbent polled less than 25% in the north.as an incumbent, buhari will poll over 30% in the south while pdp will poll less in the north.pdp will never return to power again. It's over for them from your brown roof village I guess. |
