Just to be sure...I invested 1.3m and got an interest of 166,889K
By my calculation, it was around 12.8% interest. based on my calculation.. it is @12.84%, with small charges it reduce to N166,889 |

condomuser: He didn't divide 100 by 364 but what happened is that you have to inbox me and send me N1000 to break it down , i'm joking.
Wht happened is that, he simply converted the 13.1 into percentage, he then multiplied it by the value of capital, he then divided it by 364 days being the number of days of investment. This is a simplified way that allows you to know the amount of interest generated every day on your investment.
I have seen much more complicated methods of calculation just to arrive with the same results, so thank the guy for simplifying it. Next time.... Don't struggle with your keyboard to quote what you don't understand... Did I complain about dividing by 100? |

Dreamflyin: Stanbic just got me confused. Got a free N200k and I fixed in tbills. I was debited N194,215.89. Also debited N300 TRN FEE.
And surprisingly, I just got another debit of N3,739.73 SFKP!!
Shocked. 91 days T.bills. What the hell is that, that is more than 50% of the upfront interest?
Please help. Called customer care, and the gentleman at the other end said he'll get back to me later. best wait for their response |

Internetboy: Election is around the corner, many investors will pause to invest further during this upcoming election period, due to fear of the unknown. Meanwhile, as demand decreases rate increases. The risk takers & strong minded individuals will make good money this time around.
Expect rates to increase during ending of November and December.
I could mention lot of factors that would necessitate interest rate increment by the CBN.
My TB will mature on 11th November or thereabout. I am projecting to lodge my funds for 364/days on an interest rate of 14.5%-15.5%. mennnn, will your theory span out? sjould i be patience for this period? |
