Why are mothers running away from natural things?

My first son used olive oil from head to toe, from birth till now (he is 3years old). My 5 months old is currently using ori (local one not jimpo o). I am even using palm kernel oil. It is good for the skin.

I am actually afraid of too much chemicals. That's why I rinse my children's clothes over and over again until the water is clear and devoid of foam from detergent or soap.

Same here. I have been using Napa olive oil from head to toe for my children. My first child will be 7years this June. We haven't recorded any rashes.

Abeg u people are making me scared of general hospital oo, see me that ran away from the private hospital I was using because of the bruhaha we had and focused only on general hospital and forget, general hospital is not cheap again o

If not for the crowd, lackadaisical attitude of some nurses and sorry state of the toilets, I would have gone to General Hospital. They have qualified doctors for every field. Yeah some medical personnels do make mistake but it is not only in general hospital.

Our prayers is that we do not encounter any evil/wicked medical personnel in our journeys in life. Amen.

The price at mill is 12k as at today in Akwa Ibom. I want to buy and store. What's your professional advice? Should I wait a little more, maybe till March? Do you think the price will go lower than that?

Today I bought for 12k in my area. Price is dropping. It will be terrible for farmers if the price goes below 10k.

Yes. Let's say you invested 1m and using 8.4% PA you have 1,000,000*8.4/100 = 84,000 for the year assuming you never top up, then for one day you have 84,000/365 which gives 230.14

So each day you earn 230.14 which is in accrued account till the payment date when it will then be added to your capital if you opt for reinvestment of interest otherwise paid to your bank account.

However, if you made any top up, your interest will increase daily since your capital becomes higher and interest decrease if you make any redemption.

I really like this but I'm still kinda skeptical. How safe are people's investment? You have stated that it can only fail if the country stops to exist. I'm searching for reviews online and hope to be convinced if it's dependable and trustworthy. Can one invest using dollar?

Please o. I walked into Stanbic IBTC bank about two weeks ago to open a dollar account with $450. The purpose is to invest in their mutual funds in which the minimum is $1,000. In the due diligence form I filled, I stated that I will be funding the account from my monthly salary and will also be sourcing for the FX through Banks. I got really angry when they called me this morning to tell me that I have to state the amount I will be putting in the account monthly after delaying me for two weeks!.

Please is it same with other Banks? Someone should please suggest a better option (banks for MMF) for me please.

My edd according to scan is 23 Jan and according to lmp is 28jan but both have passed without any sign of labor. I've done everything from walking, dancing, exercising, eating dates, pineapple, drinking zobo, sex, all to no avail. Right now, I feel angry at myself for still being pregnant, angry at the baby for refusing to come out. I'm even ashamed of going out as my tummy has been big for a while. Angry at my husband for travelling and leaving me with two hyper active kids to tend with pregnancy. Angry at God for ignoring my prayers. I just feel bad. Each day I wake up hoping it would be the day but it ends up the way it started.

I have a concern please, my areola is very big and hard that the nipples are not showing at all. Fine, I have inverted nipples but it wasn't this way with my first pregnancy. There is no way baby can suck on them if it stays this way. Even hubby is amazed at how much the change is.
When I lay on my back, it just stay on its own creating this line or circle that clearly separates it from the remaining breast. I don’t even know how to put it into words to the doctor.

Start pulling them out. I learned nurses help in pulling them out and that it is usually painful. But you can show the doctor for a professional solution.

I use Premier. Registration is 30k. Consultation throughout the antenatal classes is 20k. If you birth there, the 20k consultation fee will be subtracted from the main bill.

St. Luke's, Anua is good too and even UUTH.

Banks don't do MMF directly. Their Asset management subsidiary for those having a HOLDco structure do. It's basically the job of fund managers like investment one.

It uses both. It's the same feeling as a baby suckling.

My ANC check BP, weight, blood, urine, protein in urine too, the doctors measure the tommy(they always have taperule) and one other thing they put in the tommy to check baby heartbeat

My hospital do all the necessary test on the first day. Subsequent months, they only check weight and BP and carry out a scan. I still go because it is an opportunity to go to work late and just lazy around.

I tell you oo, plugging the pump to the breast always get me thinking. Maybe that's why many mums buy manual as naija light no steady (fluctuations up and down) . If the thing has battery it will be very good ooo

Some come with the option of using either battery or electricity.

Mmmmm,you see this mother when,ko easy rara. May God help us to reap the fruits of our labour. Breast pump has been frustrating itself,I ordered a single manual pump thinking,the one I had was faulty buy now I know that pumping milk is not as easy as I thought. I never had any reason to do this in my previous pregnancies cos I wasn't working but now that am in school,I have to. I have resumed because I have exams in few weeks time and I wish to breastfeed my DH exclusively like her brothers but it's not looking achievable as what I pump is not much.
Pls any help or I should buy formula? If only I can do 3 months exclusive for her. I leave her with my mum while I go to school.

Manual pump is a big no for me. It showed me pepper until i bought an electric pump. It is still working after using it for my two children. Planning to use it for No. 3 and or No. 4.

I don't know if it can be repaired through CS, you can google it though. But it can be healed through exercise. I'm a testifier.

It is because you lifted your head after the spinal anaesthesia. I lifted mine despite warnings from the Nurse. Sorry dear. You'll be alright.

Relax Papa, your wife is hoping to be okay and your baby too. Some deliveries take days, hours or minutes. For the Nurse to say that your wife has 3 steps to go that means she should be 7cm dilated. By 10cm, your precious bouncing baby will be here. Keep on praying and just hold your tears till you see your baby because by then, it will be tears of joy.

Congratulations mama. God bless you and yours. I went through that spinal headache when i had my second baby via CS. Not to scare you but it has no cure. Before Monday it will go. What i was told here was to take very chilled coke. Just a little sip every interval. It worked really well for me. You will be alright.
