I have been looking forward to this election, but it is so unfortunate I could not vote because ballot boxes were snatched and an APC member killed in my polling unit in Eleme, Rivers state.

It is not what you think. In my polling unit in Eleme Rivers state which is a strong base for the APC, ballot boxes were snatched and an APC youth leader killed. I could not vote. Let the winners win fairly, but I can tell you federal might is doing everything doable to subvert the will of the people in Rivers state. I would have voted for GEJ and senator Magnus Abe of the APC. I am not a party person.

Because my area and polling unit is 90% APC and I and others know the thugs as PDP supporters. Mind you, I would have voted for GEJ and Senator Magnus Abe of APC. I am not a party man, I vote based on conviction and conscience.

The whole exercise in Rivers state should be suspended. In my polling unit in Eleme LGA of Rivers state, ballot box was snatched and taken away by suspected PDP thugs. Eleme LGA is a strong base of APC in Rivers state.

Is not a must to have equality of states in each zone. Is like arguing that other zones should have 7 states each like the North West, even though, that zone is more than a quarter of Nigeria's population. The South East is the smallest and least-populated zones. To be fair, it doesn't need an additional state.

I live in Port Harcourt and I may vote for GEJ in the presidential election. I can't be sure of anybody winning an elective office in the forthcoming election, but I am convinced and sure that Yero, the governor of Kaduna state would have achieved his best if he gets more than 40% of votes in the gubernatorial election.

I live in Port Harcourt, and I agree with you on this. A vote for Wike is a vote to return us to the dark days when touts and miscreants were harassing and exploiting innocent people, no thanks to his position then as chairman of obio Akpor. I will vote for GEJ but never for Wike who even failed as Educational minister and is unfit to lead the people of Rivers state. He finds himself in leadership position because he is thuggish and Nigeria has no system for recognizing and nurturing its future leaders. In another clime, Wike is not even fit to vie or occupy the office of counsellor.

I pity the female folks. They are being used as sex objects by men and this is becoming unbearable. Everyday we hear this kind of story and most of the rape incidents are not even reported. Rape is a very serious crime since most of its victims are traumatized for the rest of their lives. Personally, I think crimes like rape, kidnapping, and vandalism should attract a punishment of not less than twenty years imprisonment.

He stated that he had a parley with a former CJN on the incidence of corruption/crime.

He posited that Justice Mustapha disclosed that over 70% of the cases under the judge's purview were actually outright theft being branded as corruption. He was making a case that what people normally give the appellation of corruption are nothing short of thievery.

Instead of branding a public official guilty of misappropriation as corrupt, he was suggesting that a more apt or grievous term should be applied. Let the guilty official be addressed as the thief that s/he is so as to serve as a deterrent to others.
With all the theft and stealing, how many have been arrested, prosecuted, and jailed under GEJ government? We the number under GMB government.

All these allegations that Jega is conspiring with so and so to disenfranchise some group of people can't be true. Most of the people in charge of distribution of PVCs are NYSC members - does it mean that the NYSC members are in cahoots with INEC to compromise the election? Besides, I did not spend more than 5 minutes to collect my PVC about 2 months ago. Lets not allow our support for a particular candidate destroy our sense of reasoning. He that will win should win fairly.
