Foreign AffairsRe: Russia Issues List Of "Unfriendly Countries", Considering Actions Against Them by Mhudi: 11:14pm On Mar 07, 2022
Putin should please stop the war as there is no justification for it. First, you were building massive military personnel and equipment at the Ukrainian borders and when suspicions were raised that you will be invading you denied vehemently and eventually invaded without provocation because you want a sovereign nation to abide and implement your selfish demands whether she likes it or not. Where is justice here? It is like a man telling a lady he loves to marry him or die even when the lady doesn't love him or see him attractive. In this analogy, Russia loves Ukraine because they share borders and culture and wants to marry Ukraine by all means but Ukraine doesn't love Russia and so must perish.

I am not for Russia and I am not for Ukraine. I am for peace. Let the fighting stop and the Russian troops and equipment return to Russia. Ukraine is a sovereign country and must be accorded that status.

Who remembers this one... "one day a boy caught a dove and the dove said, don't kill me and I shall tell you three things that will make you rich....." I could go on and on. lol.
THE BOY AND THE DOVE
One day, a boy caught a dove, when it was in his hand, the dove said, "please, don't kill me, let me tell you four things that will make you rich." "What are they?" Asked the boy, "this is the first thing: alway keep what you have got." The boy said, "I shall do that, I shan't forget."
The boy was foolished, he did not listen to the dove's advice. The first of four advices say, "always keep what you have got." But the boy foolishly allowed the dove to go and mocked him at the end that inside his body there was a piece of gold. Please, where can I get all NOEC books from primary 1 to 6. I can't forget the bakos traveling round the country, nor can I forget stories from the NOEC's like Karanda and Kirindi, Why the Lizard nod his head, Ali and the Angel's Coat, Mr Giwa is a shop keeper, he has a shop in lawal's village, Sule trouble, Jerom the boat man, Tea without sugar, etc.

Please, know your country's history and structure well. Not everybody from Northern Nigeria is Hausa and late Mamman Vatsa from Niger State and Even IBB are not Hausas. The Hausa language is widely spoken and the lingua franca of most parts of Northern Nigeria. Your Yoruba and Igbo duo only went to beg IBB because the late Vatsa was one of them. A poet.

I am not against the electricity tariff increase, but is it justifiable? Why did NERC increase the tariff? Were the DISCOs operating on losses before now? Will this new tariff make the DISCOs recover costs and make profit and improve service? With this new tariff, how much profit will each DISCOs make? If the DISCOs were operating on losses before, how much were each of them lossing yearly? These are the questions that interest me and should interest Nigerians, before we can decide the justifiabilily or not of the tariff increase.
PoliticsRe: We Have Accepted The Supreme Court Verdict - Dakuku Peterside, APC Rivers by Mhudi: 12:39pm On Jan 29, 2016
For me, the supreme court judgement is a supreme disappointment and a bad precedence to Nigeria's electoral journey. If the elections were free and fair and devoid of intimidation, violence, rigging, manupulation, His excellency, Governor Nyesome Wike would have won. And even, if another election is conducted, I believe, Wike will still win, and I prefered if the Supreme court had nullified his victory, so that a fresh election is conducted and he wins convicingly and undoubtedly. As it is, a wrong precedence has been set and the Supreme court has entrapped itself by that judgment.

The implication of the judgement is that, once an election is conducted, concluded, and a winner declared, the result will stand no matter the violence and rigging that characterised the election. So, for Nigeria and Rivers' people, prepare for the worst of elections in the future since the Supreme court will always uphold a declared winner no matter the nature of his victory.

I don't want to remember that crashed military plane incident. Major Igboro was a committed Catholic and humble and once visited me-to the surprise of my parents who lived in the ranks and files barracks-when I was sick as a 14-year old boy. RIP Major Igboro and others.

Party loyalists must be rewarded. Integrity was never a factor when he was canvassing for their support, and it should not be used to blackmail those who gave their all to dislodge Jonathan and PDP.
Compromise is a necessary tool in a democracy and I concur with your argument.

PoliticsRe: APC - Poll Frauds In Rivers Won't Stand by Mhudi: 11:57am On Apr 15, 2015
NZEGWUAGU:
APC is a selfish party. So it wants to reduce PDP to nothing, a party that has ruled Nigeria for 16 years? Why are they struggling to reduce Nigeria to a one-party state? They have won 26 states, do they not want PDP to win any? We all saw how Buhari was rigged into office through massive, unprecedented fraud in the North, where millions of little children were aided by Jega by omission or commission to vote massively for Buhari. Where were the idiotic international observes that are clearly co-conspirators in the plot to remove President Jonathan when all that fraud was happening in the North? Buhari should be the first person to reject his new status as President-elect if he is sincere, first for the fact that his campaign was funded with stolen monies by Amaech, Tinubu and the rest and second because he was aware of the massive electoral fraud that the North perpetrated on his behalf which is on record and in public domain. In a nutshell APC should be careful!
A party with massive followers and supporters in regions and zones with the highest number of eligible voters, a party that won more than 60 and 214 out of 109 and 360 seats in the senate and house representative, a party that won all the gubernatorial elections in the south west and swept the entire north, including Benue and Plateau that was never expected even by the APC, a party that dismantled and wrestled power from PDP for the first time since 1999 in Kaduna, Katsina, Jigawa, Benue, Plateau, Kebbi, Bauchi, Niger states. With all these records breaking and success by APC, you still expect Jonathan would have won if he was not rigged out?

Jonathan only lost because he performed woefully in the south west and north central which he was hoping to win. Nigeria has 6 geographical zones with the north west alone twice in population and eligible voters than the south south and south east combined. The president couldn't have won the election even with 100% votes from the south south and south east. Kano state has more than 4 million PVC collections. I was expecting up to 3 million votes for Buhari and was disappointed when only about 50% turned up for the election and voted 1.9 million for Buhari and 215 thousand for Jonathan.
PoliticsRe: APC - Poll Frauds In Rivers Won't Stand by Mhudi: 11:22am On Apr 15, 2015
I live in Rivers state and for the first time in my life, even with my PVC, I was disenfranchised in both the presidential and gubernatorial elections because of a party sponsored intimidation and violence. Our electoral process begs for total overhaul. You spent your energy, time, and resources campaigning and convincing electorates to vote for you and at the end of the day, their votes don't count - is painful and frustrating.

At my polling unit, I was observing some party thugs scheming and plotting on how to disrupt voting because their party was loosing. At the end, they succeeded and I and many others could not vote.

For the first time since I attained the age of voting, I could not vote even with my PVC in both the presidential and gubernatorial elections in Rivers state. It is so painful that after I've been accredited and spending hours waiting to vote, voting was disrupted by some thugs who suspected that the election was going against their party. The only female Police officer on duty in the polling unit was harmless and couldn't do anything. The upheaval continued until DSS officials later came in and went away with INEC officials and materials. I'm disappointed. Elections in Rivers state is something different.

IGP is aligning to the new government! F**k!!!
With people like you, this country will find it difficult to be truly united, but God forbid. Try and make a quick research. Kano is the most populous state in Nigeria and katsina state is the fourth most populous state. A bonus to you also, Kaduna state is the third on the list. These states also recorded the highest number of PVCs collection. Kano 1.9m and 215k votes to GMB and GEJ is only about 50% of eligible voters while Rivers 69k and 1.48m votes to GMB and GEJ is about 76% of eligible voters, even when voting did not take place in many polling units in Rivers state. I am in Rivers and I could not vote, ballot boxes were snatched and a party member (Christopher Enechi) killed in my area. We should always view things with truth and not sentiment.

pdp wud surely b bk n wud do wonders as apc did wt d northern part.. e.g kano votes
Your posts always reveal you as someone that is sentimental and narrow minded, reason why you will never see the truth. For God's sake, Kano voting strength (I mean those that actually collected PVCs) is more than 4 million and only about 2.1 million voted, that is about 50% of eligible voters, in contrast to Rivers recording 1.48m for GEJ and about 80% of voters turnout. In Kano state, about 1.9m voted for GMB and 200k voted for GEJ. Do you expect the abokis to drop sentiment like the SE and SS by voting against their own? GEJ got more than 200K votes in Kano and more than 100k in Katsina while GMB got only 5K in Bayelsa state and tens of thousands in each of the SS and SE states. You've just succeeded in teaching the abokis a lesson, as they now know who is more sentimental. For your information Kano is the most populous state in Nigeria and has the highest number of registered voters after Lagos. They started it, so expect block votes from the North in subsequent elections.
PoliticsRe: How Jega Defeated Jonathan For Buhari By Femi Aribisala by Mhudi: 11:00am On Apr 08, 2015
obailala:
I can swear with my life that Buhari won the election. Just the same way I can also swear with my life that Jonathan won the election in 2011. Let's stop deceiving ourselves, you cannot compare the population of the North to the SE/SS... and then to complicate matters, the SW and middle belt pulled their support from Jonathan. Only a miracle or a mad case of rigging could have made Jonathan win this election.

Seriously, did you really look at the results of all the online polls?... Why do people actually think Jonathan could have won this election with just the SE/SS votes?
Some people will never say the truth because circumstances did not favor them. And this is a big problem for us as a country. In 2011, Jonathan won fair and square, in 2015 he lost fair and square. For parochial minds, please analyse the results and see for yourselves. SS/SE eligible voters are less than NW alone. Buhari won all SW states except Ekiti, won all NE states except Taraba, won four out of the six North Central states, and won all the NW states. With this kind of record, how do you expect Jonathan to win or Buhari to lose?

JustCalMeDBoss:
For anyone who care to listen and listen good one thing is sure we the yourba's through bitterness that leads to blindness have imoposed the north on nigeria again. Just look at the PVc distribution. I repeat it would take a miracle for the south to produce anoda president without major support of the north. Those underage voters are already in the database. If you watch the knew the voters population was already skewed favoring the north this I know because I was a corper during the 2011 registration exercise. Where we had ppl as young as 13 coming to register and the issue of multiple registration. One person can register in as much as 6 places. I wonder how the next census would be carried out. I am yourba but I see a grand plan to disenfranchise the SE. Cos SS will always claim their oil. One thing the SW should neva oppose the north otherwise our machinations would hunt us. But I also see the APc imploding or because its already too large. Nigeria is already set on collusion course. With little resource left I wonder how they would mange this country. Buhari needs all the luck he can get. To my SW brothers who think that you can solve gorilla warfare by a strong hand good luck. It all about to happen.
Underage voters my ass. If true, are they even up to 1000 compare to the rigging and manipulation of results that saw Rivers, Delta, and Akwa Ibom producing millions of votes and recording more than 80% voters turnout?

Now go back and attempt to read the article.
Read what? There is no any iota of truth in this parochial and self-interest article. The article is 1000 light years from objectivity. Repeat the election a million times with 100% perfection and without rigging, President Jonathan will still lose the election to Buhari. Analyse the election results yourself and discover the truth without the slightest inputs of sentiments and party partisanship. Some people will forever be chanting that underage voters voted in the North and stealthily fail to mention the percentage of voters turnout across the country. How do you explain a percentage turnout of 50% voters in Kano and the Northern states compare to 80% and above 90% in Rivers and Akwa Ibom states. I live in Port Harcourt and I could not vote because before 12:00 noon on that day, election has been concluded in my polling unit, and for every 10 persons I asked if they voted, I hardly get 1 person that voted. The election rigging that occurred on March 28, 2015 was outrageous and unprecedented in the history of this country.

Please, use your brain and reason well. Since the beginning of democratic government in 1999, how many years did the North rule? Only two years I guess, and that's 16 years ago. The purported many years of Northern rule was through military government after a coup d' tat, of which any Nigerian whether Ijaw, Yoruba, Igbo, Ibibio, etc can seize power. So, you can blame your kinsmen for not seizing power through that means.
