For me it was kind of peers, they pointed me towards my course of study, and to be sincere I couldn't have wished for anything better, my dad had a hand in it though. Originally, I wanted to be a banker, he was like NO, NEVER!!!! Lol.

Richtalk: Though this turbaning was a personal thing, I still feel that postponing it would have been the best. That would have been a big plus to SLS and he would have been respected more.
But now its a big minus to him, considering the fact CBN staff were involved. And is now clear that he has no much sympathy for people as he always claim through his controversial donations.[size=20pt]

Visas are issued for many totally different reasons. they permit folks to figure, study and visit in a very country that’s outside their nationality. Visas are typically issued with a deadline. it’s important to stick to the present deadline because it will result in legal issues inside the host country.

Expired allow: A visa permits an individual to enter and keep within the country for a specified amount of your time. Once the visa authorization expires when the visa holder isn’t any longer allowed to mention within the country.

Leaving the Country: The visa holder is meant to depart the country before the expiry date.

Arrest and Deportation: If an individual overstays their visa, deportation is that the most typical punishment. Government resources limit non-national/alien studies of these who have committed no crime. Deportation is that the expulsion from the country of non-national/alien. If non-national/alien was arrested for a criminal offense, deportation can presumably follow.

Visa Over Stays: If the visa holder stays within the country for over one hundred eighty days, an expired visa if they leave voluntarily can have a bar imposed on them from getting into the us once more. For those that are left within the initial year, 3 years tape are going to be placed in one year is ten years bar.

The secretary to the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria in Education, on Wednesday said the government of Nigeria invested about N254 million in scholarships to a number of indigent Nigerians totaling 22,393 the recent past year.

The secretary, Usman Kabir, who spoke during the flag-off of the award renewal programme for the 2010/2011  set of scholarship students under the national government urged pupils and students beneficiaries to justify the huge investment made by government on them, by using the money for the purpose it is meant for as well as excelling in their courses of academic pursuit.

Elaborating on the scholarship award, qualification requirements and eligibility, Mimiko Danjuma Habakuk, who is also the director of scholarship board in the FCT (Nigeria) explained that the scholarship is meant for indigents who have secured university admission in a recognized institution home or abroad.

I think the Academic Union of Universities ASUU is becoming selfish enough. Two days after the long awaited meeting between them and the Federal government, they are yet to arrive at a conclusion whether to resume or not.

As the meeting between the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government negotiating team ended today, ASUU President professor Ukachukwu Awuzie has said on Saturday that he will report to the outcome to the National Executive Council of the university teachers "soonest" to decide on the offers made by Federal Government.

"We have discussed. We have looked at the issues. Government has made its offer. And I have to take it to my principal." he said.

Two days has gone after that, what are they waiting for? Is this not selfish?

This is the bane of our football. Mourinho axed Mikel at Chelsea at a point for the same offence until the guy had to beg.

Why would anyone being paid such a high salary be reporting late to work, for any reason?

Don't mind them. He probably must have bumped into one Igbo chic the previous night.

Hello webmasters,

Pls can anybody assis me with how to set-up my popup domination? My site is a wordpress site and i don't know how to fix it. The instruction said "Enter your html opt-in code", I don't know how to get the code.

It further said:
Read this before inputting your HTML

You need to make sure the opt-in code that you have been provided contains the htmo <form> tag. Also make sure that it has both Name and Email address fields.

The boxes below the HTML input box should automagically detect the Name and Email address field. If they don't select the correct fields, simply choose the correct name and email address fields from the dropdown.

Pls somebody should help me. I don't mind calling you now if you drop your number.

Hello Nigerian students,

This is not the only, not the first and of course will not be the first advice you will have in your search for admission into any of the tertiary institutions in the country. But i promise to give you a selfless advice and guide as i intend to expose all possible pitfalls that determine success or failure in the admission search experience in Nigeria.

Over the recent five years, the population of admission seekers in Nigeria has grown larger and larger year after year. You might be excited to hear that the population of Nigerians that sit for JAMB annually is more than twice the total population of Liberia. More reason why you have to be ready for the competition-survival of the fittest.

As i write this post, many of you might be busy asking questions like how and where can i purchase the jamb form. Probably it's your second, third or even fourth time of applying for jamb, lucky you if you are applying for the first time, but the journey just started.

I don't care to know your location, the course you intend studying, your affluence, your age or your stake in the affairs and scheme of things in Nigeria. Perhaps you shouldn't be reading this if your father is a V.C or your dad is a senator. This post is meant for the average Nigerian who rely on success as the only way to admission into schools.

Just last year (or this year rather-2011) a total of about 1,403,640 candidates wrote jamb/utme, with just about 20% hoping to be admitted. Of which you might still be hoping that your name will still come out this year. Who knows?

While you wait, or while you search for where to purchase this year's jamb form, be careful and mind you, your failure starts from your application. For now i would advice all Nigerians to hold on first. Do not rush to register to avoid the mistakes others made last year.

Let the "rushers" and desperate ones begin first, while you join them later. Then you must have learned from their mistakes and that gives you about 10% edge above them!

This link will guide you, teach you and of course give you all the details you might need to a successful application both to UTME and post UTME this year.

Nigeria's problem increases on daily count. Before it was Biafra (though peaceful), then Niger Delta (thanks to late Umaru) now it's the Haram.

The problem with our nation is not tribal but jealousy, looting and selfishness. GEJ, we are still awaiting transformation you promised-The power, health, education, etc.

redsun:
What is the point of having a union that is not working at this time and age where people can easily decide their faith? Nigeria at this point is a country on d brink, like a half filled glass,it could go either way-bloom or desolation.

Rightly said and it's a high time we grew to understand that. This country needs one of the two!

jacobadam:
An old Yiddish proverb says, "The eyes are the mirror of the soul", and they are,  . Eyes can captivate an audience and express what words may not be able to deliver. A word is a word, but a word expressed upon the sincerity of the eyes will allow the words spoken to reach the minds of those they are spoken to. This is why eye contact is important. Eye contact is a non-verbal ability to communicate, and it often equals to our ability to verbally express a thought. Interestingly, we are least aware of our non-verbal communication skills like body language and especially eye contact, yet these non-verbal skills often speak louder than our words. You know in college many students have written an essay on eye contact and its important. When you maintain eye contact, you present an air of confidence in yourself and what you are communicating. People who are listening to what you are saying will take you more seriously, and will take what you say as important. If you lose eye contact or focus on everything else but the person you are speaking to, you may not be taken seriously and the truth in your points may be lost,

A nice one in bold!

yamakuza:
very confusing statement there. Kindly rephrase.

I want to believe all trade and commerce, and hence all business revolve around buying and selling one thing or another, physical or not.

If you are referring to petty trade, i guess its cos majority find it easy to start and manage, compared to alternatives like manufacturing, transportation and what have you.

Depending on your capital and time constraints, you can find numerous other businesses you can run well in Nigeria.

Afterall, the problems you mentioned are only opportunities in disguise.

As simple as that!
