Congratulations

armstead:

Congrats man!!! Let this not pass me by. To corroborate this testimony, my wife also travelled in recently at 36 weeks plus few days to 37weeks and delivered our baby in Canada, although she didn’t get Alberta Health card immediately, she was only provided with her healthcare number at the Registry; which she used to visit hospitals. Mother and child are also fine. Howbeit, we’re still expecting our PR cards.

Fantastic question, I have been trying to answer, but how came out of your ordeal with them, did you go ahead with the training?

Please still waiting on information about this GlobalEdge Recruitment and the 185k training.
Has anyone ever being employed to work in the UAE by this recruiting firm and why do they have to be the ones doing the training

Dear All,

Well, my wife travelled 34 weeks and delivered the baby in Canada, she got her Alberta Health card immediately she landed and both mother and child are fine. As a matter of fact, mother has gotten her PR card

Regards

Flaj:

Will the airline allow your wife to fly? I'm assuming she's 7 months gone and might be more when COPR lands. Niobe77 was in a similar situation when PPR landed but wrote to CIC informing them about the situation, she was asked to notify them within 30 days of the baby's birth though she didn't intend to birth in the US.
You can mail them to let them know that you may not be able to land till after your baby's birth. Better still look through her posts but
MAKE SURE YOUR BABY HAS A STATUS IN CANADA BEFORE YOU LAND

Business / Re: MTN To Acquire Banking Licence In Nigeria, Says CEO by michael1(m): 5:46pm On Nov 14, 2018
Would have loved to humour your stupidity but no I wont, you are the actual fool.

Do you have the faintest idea the number of jobs this will create, it's not all about withdrawal, MTN will have merchants, data sales offers spread over the country and same would result in cash environment which the Govt have been clamouring for. Believe me, it will create hundreds of thousands of jobs

Think before you come openly to display your ignorance

BedLam:
You are stupid. Mobile banking g has almost no job to create. It would have been nice if it was when people had phone booth. Tell me how they intend to create job? You skull is empty. Withdrawal of money you will be charged just like banks and the risk of running that as agent is very high because of robbers. Your type should be banished.

Dear @Geebaby10 & @A555 and all

Good evening, my family just got our PPR today and our story is exactly like yours, initially planning to have our baby in US, however post receipt of PPR today, everything has changed.

Please I will really appreciate any help at settling down. My wife is EDD is late Sept/early Oct. We do have a someone in Sask but also willing to rent an apartment if that does not work out since we are looking at giving birth in Canada.

Please we will appreciate if you can kindly avail us your email address to aid us through this period.

Thank you

A555:

Our experience for Calgary was quite straightforward.

Arrived in Calgary 6 weeks before the baby was due. Went to registry to sign up for health care and asked for the Alberta healthcare number immediately, so we had it written down while waiting for the card to arrive in the post within a week (I think it was actually just a couple of days later).

Went straight to sign up with a regular family doctor (walk-in) who immediately made the referral. Scans and tests were requested because the medical report from Nigeria was insufficient. The family doctor did a lot of the initial work. Called various hospitals & maternity clinics till he found one to take us straightaway. In fact, he referred us to the maternity clinic for the same day, and then called us in the evening to confirm we had seen the doctor. At the maternity clinic, they simply booked us in to see a doctor the following week.

Due to the proximity to the due date, at the maternity clinic, doctor asked that we schedule weekly visits. So after every appointment, we scheduled a follow up for the following week. Everything went smoothly, and honestly it was the best experience ever. If you're coming into Alberta, I doubt you will have much to worry about.
